but as the title says! i'm really thinking about it now since i was able to make a model and have it working decently in VRChat in about 3 days~! granted it was "simplified" but i'm proud of my progress~ that being said, i'm very much considering opening commissions for them soon.. maybe. i've got some prices in mind and i hope they'll be agreeable. i'll post a new journal with all the info and such when i feel like i'm ready!

About Me:

i'm 30 years old, gay, male, androgynous and slightly feminine. i don't really consider myself a femboy but i have been mistaken for a girl on many occasions. i'm 5'11" and 165lbs, kinda slim, fairly average body type, i've been told i'm a little curvy but i don't see it! i live in between the Las Vegas and Henderson area in Nevada. i'm really quiet to the point where i'm sure people think i don't want to talk to them, while true for very few individuals, that's not the case! i'm just really bad at keeping conversation and am more of a listener, but i have a much easier time speaking my mind on voice or in person. i'm generally pretty chill, but i'm rather emotional, i do try my best to simply go with the flow~ i'd like to think i have a good sense of humor, but the only thing i have to go on is that i've been able to make my friends laugh on more than one occasion so i'm glad for that <3 i'm also a bit of a hopeless romantic, i love romantic gestures! however, there is a limit to where it can get really cringey or cheesy.. sometimes it can be all in good fun, other times it's just like.. yeesh.

i love to watch animated movies, cartoons, and anime! but i also enjoy live action and fantasy films like the Marvel movies, Harry Potter series, and Lord of the Rings series~ i'm a gamer, my main stays are co-op games and mmos~ would love more people to play FFXIV with <3 also games like Dark Souls and Monster Hunter series! i'm pretty bad at shooters(1st or 3rd person) and fighting games, but i can enjoy them well enough in good company~ especially Smash Bros! not very into racing or sports games. i do my best to be decent at the games i play, but having fun and playing my own way is my number one priority! i cannot stand elitism.. anyway, in case you haven't noticed somehow, i am an artist :p and i'd love to draw stuff with that special someone should they also be an artist! music i'm into is almost anything oriental, traditional, and classical~ absolutely love piano, guitar, and other stringed instruments <3 also video game music and almost any genre except death metal screamo stuff, country, and most rap, they're just not my thing. also i'm not much of a drinker and i don't smoke

So I've been thinking, since I haven't really done many more YCH since my first one a long while back because I just finish up a sketch anyway, the sketches could all be potential YCHs. I'm not really keen on doing an auction for any sorta YCH and I prolly wouldn't think about making something INTO a YCH while drawing something, so my idea is this!

Choose a sketch I've done as a YCH with a $20USD discount on Full Color($60), dropping it to $40~ it can be made flat color if preferred but it'll still be $40. The submission chosen in my gallery has to be a -Sketch- and can't be a -Commission- sketch. This allows me an easier time to conceptualize and gives the commissioner an idea of how it'll turn out. It won't be completely the same as the sketch chosen as I'll be redrawing it 100% as the commissioner's character, it'll just be similar in pose and such, along with any alterations the commissioner may desire. I may change them slightly on my own if I get the same sketch a lot, it may even be mirrored/flipped, wanna try to keep it fresh! The extra charges(extra characters, detailed background, and adult content)fees will still apply however.

Lemme know if you like this idea! I'll add it to my price list later on if it sounds good~

Oh and I wouldn't feel right to be paid to finish my own sketch either, if you wanted to see a finished version of a sketch I've done that is, so it won't apply to that

Hey everyone! Just wanted to put up a notice that I am available for commissions, sorry that it seems like I've been busy. I mean, I have and haven't been, mostly distractions! But by "seem" I mean because I haven't been uploading much, which is rather normal as you know.. I'm trying though, I promise! Everything I sketch lately just ends up being done over again and I end up not finishing anything.. I just don't know what I want to draw! First off, belated Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year! I wish I had a beta for Part Time at Freddy's ready, but unfortunately I do not.. About that in fact, I regret to inform you that it will be put on hiatus for an indefinite amount of time.. There's just too many other things I want to do, whether it be drawing, gaming, or other things among my personal life! I'll still most likely draw my versions of the FNAF crew from time to time when I have the inspiration, among other things, so I hope you enjoy those.

Also, for those interested, I am open for commissions. Although it's nice that I'm not flooded with them, it's actually quite dry in my inbox. I wouldn't mind a droplet or two once in a while~ If you're curious about my prices, they're all in my profile info, I hope they're fair! If you're interested, please send me a note and we can discuss the specifics. It helps me a lot to have as much info and references as possible so that I can do my best to fulfil your order, but I can try "winging it" if there is a lack of those mentioned before. It's only been a week since my last progress report.. But I felt like I should mention some things! First off, the bad news.. I nearly lost -all- my progress several days ago. My computer kinna just crapped out on me and I couldn't log on at all. Luckily, I was able to put all my personal files (like the project and all my art and stuff) on my backup hard drive. It's a good thing I was able to do that too because the manual system backup I did didn't work.. Even though it said it was successful. As you could probably tell, my only option was to completely reinstall my computer :c But! My all my personal files are fine so that's great! If they were lost I seriously would have lost all motivation to start again... But thank goodness that isn't the case!

Good news! I started fiddling around with the Visual Novel Maker program and I have to say that yeah, I'm a little bit overwhelmed but I shall persevere! I think I can get a handle on it. I know there are some of you who are willing to help me in this endeavor and I greatly appreciate it, but I wish to do the best I can on my own before I ask for help, besides that I feel as though some others have their own projects or things to work on so I'd really not want to bother. It's just how I am ^^;

One thing I'm worried/thinking about is UI artwork, backgrounds, music, and sound effects.. Though my same reasoning applies, I don't want to bother people, especially since there is no money involved in this project. It is a fan game based off of another after all, so to hopefully avoid any sort of problems I want to make this completely, 100% free. I know the drawbacks this might cause but I will do my best to try and make this visual novel as decent as I can!

As I mentioned in my latest teaser sprite of Freddy, the sprites will be partially animated, mostly blinking! Though I am heavily considering giving them talking sprites, which would be fairly easy for me to do since they'd just be a bunch of mouth replacements. Same pose sprites are kind of boring after all.. But I'm even dreading a limited movement sprite(like a slightly raised arm)! Maybe someday though I'll make more poses, even if that means going back into the program and changing each one to the appropriate pose and expression.. Though I'm complaining about how much work the sprites would take, it's a wonder that I even got this far at all!

I'm honestly quite surprised at myself for actually wanting to continue this project. I've tried to do other projects before but I either lose interest or get infinitely sidetracked. Suffice to say, I probably will still get sidetracked by vidya games or other things.. But as I've mentioned before, I sincerely and truly want to make this project happen, and I guess me just saying that keeps the project in my heart, not to mention the support and offers of help I've been getting now and then. It truly means so much to me that people are interested and eagerly waiting for this project, what started as a little joke and a small idea and is trying it's best to become something decent.

Alright! Now that all the first base sprites are complete.. I'm starting to consider other options in regards to the visual novel.. What I can do is just add as many expressions as I can, and maybe a lot of "CG" scenes, being fully colored pics in key moments of the story/route.. This would make things a lot easier for me since all I'd have to do is change their faces.. Though I do realize that's a bit boring.. Perhaps if I get back into it again I can add new poses as like, an updated version. I had planned on giving each character 5-7 different poses.. And I'd like to, to give it that Morenatsu feel, but that may be just too much for me, all at once at least. With expression changes(not to mention outfit changes) I can at least try to start on a teaser/beta/demo..

Slow progress will still be slow.. but I still hope to make this happen, despite my lack of motivation.. I appreciate all the favorites towards the sprites I've done so far, whether or not people know what they're truly for at the moment. Comments help keep me motivated :' It lets me know that people are interested and eagerly looking forward to the project, but at the same time asking you now makes it feel less special! In any case, I will try to make this project a reality someday. Thank you so much for your views, watches, comments, and favorites, it means so much to me, truly it does!

In other news, part of the story has changed in regards to the spooky bit, one night at Freddy's.. I'm not sure how it will go but I am going to try and add some kind of dark aspect to it.. You know, to keep in theme. However, that dark aspect does not involve the Freddy's crew and their family suddenly turning murderous and stuffing you into some sort of suit. Just gonna clear that up now! And in the meantime I'll prolly sketch some other things now and then as I feel like, probably more Bernard x Fawkes because I love those two <3 Probably some of the others too~

But I just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm still, very slowly, working on this project. Motivation to draw the sprites comes and goes while I'm still constantly thinking of scenarios and stories for the guys... I probably should write this stuff down someplace but well, it's all still pretty fresh in there for me. But even if I did, things would probably change as I'm working on them anyway. Things might get a little busy for me eventually but I do want to make this happen.. someday...

Now if you don't mind, I'd like some opinions.. this would really help me put this all together a bit more.

1. What do you think of the title "Part Time at Freddy's"? Should I change it? Keep in mind this is a dating sim spinoff.

2. I'm deciding on not making Fawkes(Foxy) an amputee with a hook replacement. Since these versions are not robots at all and 100% organic, I kinna don't want Foxy to have -that- traumatic of a past.

3. I'm going to turn Chico's bib into a neckerchief and put Let's Eat on the apron instead. Thoughts?

4. The outfits you see them in now will probably only be seen on the first day, as those are their "work uniforms". What kind of clothes do you think Freddy and Chico would wear? I already have ideas for Bonnie and Foxy but feel free to comment on them as well~

And with that, I'm going to write their bios in another journal sometime soon. Should I post them separately or all on one post? Title examples: "Part Time at Freddy's: Bios" vs "Part Time at Freddy's: Foxy Bio" etc. I would put them together in a new submission with a drawing and such but that would pull away from my sprite drawing time.. Or maybe I'll hold off and post a bio submission when I've completed the base sprites for each character. For example when I finish Foxy's base sprites, I'll submit a pic with his bio information, and then onward. This will however, take longer to release their bio information.. But we shall see!

I suppose it's about time I shared the general idea behind my fan characters of Five Nights at Freddy's.. Welp, here goes nothin. All a work in progress, things subject to change yada yada, title is pending too. Please be gentle :' I've mentioned before that I'm not much of a writer.

You are a guy named Mike(not Schmidt, and of course I'd allow it to be any name but by default it's Mike, just for spinoff sake.) who just recently got settled in this town whose hotspot happens to be "Freddy's", a gay nightclub. Mike figures he should get a job of course, and as luck would have it, Freddy's happens to be the only place hiring. The club is open every weekday, but only from 5pm-11pm, odd for a nightclub to close at 11pm.. But the mysterious owner of Freddy's must have his reasons. Not but a day after handing in his application, Mike receives a phone call to come in as his first day of work. However, the job itself isn't the focus, it's the workers there that soon has Mike's attention. Four good looking male furs, and each of them surprisingly single, Mike who happens to be gay feels like he's hit the jackpot.. But who to choose? Might as well get to know them better on the weekends and before work, if not for a relationship then maybe at least for a lasting friendship!

... But for how long? Eventually the five of them find that their workplace will be closed for two days, but not on a weekend. There have been stories that blood curdling screams could be heard from Freddy's well after midnight, when no one is supposed to be in there. Some even say the screams were those of children, and that rough, rigid moving shadows roamed the nightclub floor. The four who have worked there the past few years have never paid the rumors any mind, as it all just seemed like silly ghost stories, though none of them have stayed after hours themselves. The facts were that there have been no news reports of missing people/furs, so it was probably just some story to scare kids away from the "evil gay nightclub". So one of the furs decides as a test of courage, they'll all spend one night at Freddy's... After all it's all just for fun anyway.. right?

TL;DR: you wanna bang one of the dudes at your new job but then something spooky happens THEND.

Unfortunately I still haven't opened that Visual Novel Maker yet, I'm mostly focused on drawing out the sprites I want to use first, at least the base poses. Expressions and clothes I'll be able to add easily afterwards... Just need to figure out what kind of poses to do.. Once those are all done I might do that "Ask Freddy's" thing I mentioned before, that might be fun while I try to think of the route stories. Sooo yeah~ Though don't keep your hopes up about the Visual Novel.. I do have a habit of not going through with my ideas :c

Managed to get myself a copy and will hopefully be playing for quite some time. Despite the pre-launch difficulties, I really enjoy the game so far. If anyone plays the Behemoth server, you might see a Miqo'te named Nukude Choseung running around. That'd be me~ Feel free to say hi. I'm mostly going to be playing with demu and garasaki~
