[Announcement] I'm back!!!

It has been quite some time since I posted anything here on FA, I've been primarily active on places like Discord or other social sites like Twitter and Bluesky lately, however I've been lurking within shadows here, getting lots of birb goodness which you may have seen floating around on other artists galleries or social sites.
After hiding in shadows for this long period of time, I feel it is time to finally come out of the shadows into the light as I want to let you all know why I have been so quiet here for the past 5-6 years and some plans I have going forward. To make it easier for me to write things down, I've formatted the following as a mini Q&A:
Q: Where have you been these last 5-6 years?
A: For last 5-6 years now I've been mainly juggling a lot of IRL stuff like my job and helping out my family. I covered in a previous journal after I had moved into my new house some of the these things, however since that journal, to say it has been quite chaotic and stressful is bit of understatement...
Some things we had to deal with in last 5-6 years with house include:
- Having a whole annexe house rebuilt from remains of old coach house so my mum and dads parents could move into property (all before covid and lockdowns happened)
- Having whole roof of house replaced so we can properly insulate loft and use it for storage
- Having our sewage pipes break due to nearby construction work and tree roots damaging pipes causing our garden to be flooded with raw sewage
- And many more....
Q: How have you and your family been coping in those 5-6 years?
A: It has been quite a mental battle for all of us, while its been one thing trying to cope with work related stuff, house related stuff or day to day things, we had quite a few health scares within family in last few years as well as losing several family members. Last year especially has been very rough for us all as my young brother sadly passed away from seizure unexpectedly. His death has been one of the hardest deaths for me and my family to recover from and we still deeply miss him...
Q: Have you and your family managed to find ways to recover or heal from all negative experiences?
A: Despite all the stress we been under, there has been some positive highlights for sure. Last year we adopted a new family pet cat, a female tuxedo cat who goes by name Tiggy. She has been such a welcome addition to the family and has particularly bonded with me since we adopted her, she been helping me immensely with my mental health and I've been finding myself more relaxed and in better mindset since we got her. Me and my family also been doing more activities together like visiting zoos or going on hikes, helping us bond more and try get away from all years of chaos we been dealing with, hopefully we plan to keep doing more activities like this when we can.
I've also been hanging out quite bit with friends over on discord, playing games, having doodle sessions drawing with each other or even just having some one on one chats together about life and events, these chats especially have been helping me greatly in particular. I want to briefly shout out all of my friends who in these last few years especially that have listened to my struggles, let me play with them or even join in on whatever silly activity they doing, from bottom of my heart I am grateful to have you as friends and hope one day I can return favour in whatever way I can. <3
Q: Why return to FA now and what are your plans for FA?
A: 2025 has been bit of year of revaluating my life and tackling some bad habits of mine, particularly tackling bad habit I developed as mixture of laziness and trying to district myself with stuff cope with those last several years worth of stressful events. I feel now is the time for me to try get things sorted by clearing one of the biggest things I have procrastinated over for ages, that being 8 years worth of backlog uploads that been long overdue to be posted.
For the next month or two, My main goal is to finally tackle as much of my backlog as possible. There is approximately 600+ art pieces I've built up over these last 8 years which I've yet to upload here (3/4 of that number made up of Dart specific commissions alone). My goal starting soon™ is to try get into a daily routine of uploading roughly 10 of these commissions per day till backlog is finally cleared (excluding seasonal themed pics which I'll upload in October/December respectively).
I'm also updating my gallery with more organised folders so you can all easily find art of my characters and their reference sheets. I've also been moving some of my older uploads from gallery to scraps folder that I am personally not as happy with anymore or feature characters I'm don't really use or have plans with for time being. Some of these characters may end up being redesigned to reflect my current tastes or kinks but for now they will be on side-lines.
Q: Any further plans once backlog has been tackled?
A: Once I've cleared vast majority of my backlog, i'm hoping to plan out something i've wanted to do for awhile now, a LONG overdue raffle to give you all a chance to get free pic with Dart or any of my characters. More info will come closer to the time as I'm still working out details and such. I'm also gonna try be more active not just here but on other social sites, you may see more journal/posts from me asking for ideas or feedback from you guys to help me with future commission ideas/

Spooky Month ideas
Posted 6 years agoOctober has arrived and I’m now starting to think of some ideas to get for Halloween.
If anyone had any good ideas or suggestions of any Halloween theme ideas I could get with My birb Dart I’m all ears, these can include any monsters or spooky things Dart could be (eg. Witch, Headless Horseman, etc)

In just under 2 weeks time on April 30th, I will be celebrating my 26th birthday!
Last year lots of people from both here and Discord made my bday feel special by either gifting me some fun arts or simply wishing me a happy bday~
For this year, as it falls on a Tuesday and I’ve been curious to do one of these, I’ve decided to hold a TMI Tuesday on my bday!

Update Status - Still Alive~
Posted 6 years agoHey everyone, it’s been awhile. < v < ;;
Sorry for lack of activity recently, the last 4 months have been very busy IRL and heptic taking my time away from here.
Luckily things are calming down and I can start to get ball rolling again and try to get more active again, both with uploading and making more journal posts now and again.
For those curious what’s been going on in last 4 months, back around middle of January, me and my parents moved out of our old home we lived at for over 23 years to our new current home.
Unfortunately the move has been incredibly stressful and taking a lot of attention to fix.
To give brief idea of some of the things we had to put up with, these include:
• Old owners dumping stuff in our new home they didn’t take and then changing their phone and email preventing us from chasing them down.
• Several leaks all over house
• Re-landscaping driveway so we can turn our cars around, etc
In addition to all this, I’ve had my own issues such as my laptop which also contained all my artwork breaking shortly before move, not only delaying me sending it in for repairs but later find out it’s the GPU and it would cost equivalent of new laptop to get replacement! @ v @ ;
I since gotten a new laptop and salvaged the hard drives containing my artwork from my old laptop and been slowly recovering them all onto my new laptop.
Things are luckily settling down and most of house issues are resolved or getting resolved.
Thank you all for reading this and I’ll hopefully do my best to try be more active and get my big birb butt into gear to get my humongous backlog upload over course of next few months.

2018 was a interesting year for me, some big things have happened IRL as we have sold our home and in few weeks i shall be moving with my family to our new home, not to mention i'll be planning to learn how to drive this year so 2019 gonna be keeping me busy!
As for FA stuff, my main aim is to try clear up my backlog of stuff before my big move, after that, just keep up the flow of arts with friends and peeps alike!

Art Backlog Update

Wanted to make bit of update regarding some things happening over course of this week.
As many of you might have seen on Monday yesterday, I been uploading lots of art I’ve commissioned or got over last two years to clear my massive backlog of left untouched for to long.
As if this journal, I now have approx 106 pics left to upload, 90% of those pics bebof my Main birb girl, Dart.
So if you are a fan of my birb, you will seeing lots of her over course of this week ^ v ^

2nd Anniversary + Big Updates!
Posted 7 years ago *blows party horn* Well it’s that time again!! Today is officially the 2nd year since I first created this account and officially joined the FA community!
First of all, I wanna thank all the people who have watched me or have shouted me with nice stuff since last year as we have now also passed the 1k mark of people watching this Birb. For that I wanna thank all the newcomers as well as those who been here since the beginning! <3
With that out of the way, I wanna take some time to quickly update everyone about some plans I have for both my gallery in the next few days and something I’m planning for the near future.
Overhaul to Gallery Page
To those with sharp eyes or been observing my gallery over last few days may have seen me making changes over my whole gallery, tweaking art descriptions, titles and adding gallery folders.
This has been something that I've been wanting to do for many months, as things were a mess before, whether it was from outdated stuff or just bad formatting.
With these tweaks however, have help me prepare to fix another issue that I’m long overdue to fix...
Lack of Art Uploads
Yeah.....
First of all, major apologies to everyone who been wanting me to upload stuff over the last year when I last posted something on my gallery.
Mixture of IRL issues and laziness/lack of motivation has caused me to have a backlog of over 100+ artworks to upload.
Luckily, now I’ve finally gotten off my lazy Birb butt and kicked into high gear, I am planning to get this backlog cleared by uploading it all hopefully before end of this week
Keep an eye on your notifications as you may see all the remaining art I’ve gotten from last two years here real soon!
Milestone Raffle
This has been something I’m interested in doing, especially after reaching the 1K watcher milestone but as it’s been awhile since I hit that, my plan now is to have a raffle ready for when I hit 1.5K watchers.
This is still in the works as I need to find artists to draw the prize but when I got something sorted, will post another journal announcing this!
And that’s about everything I needed to update everyone about, apologies for wall of text.
To to wrap things off, here’s to hopefully another great year of FA and future shenanigans and Birb! ^ v ^

1 Year Anniversary & 800+ watchers milestones!

Well here it is, exactly one year since i created this account and took my first steps into the land of FA.
Since then, I've gotten many great arts from some fantastic artists, have over 800+ people watching me and have met and made some wonderful people and friends along the way.
While I may have not uploaded much in the last few months, I will hopefully get around soon to uploading all my artwork I've got stored away once its organised for all of you to see and gawk at.
And to all the people who are either watching me or to those who have taken the time to favourite and comment on any of my stuff...
