IT WAS A TOTAL BLAST!
Well, for me it was! As a first thing I really really wanna thank to all the wonderful furs who gave me their trust to make their characters partially real, at least on the paper :D I haven't been much active in the field of arts past... years T_T Not to mention even active in the furdom, or con attendance. This year I had a literal last minute chance to visit EF (it was decided on wednesday's midnight after a boardgame session, lol). On Thursday morning we set off and even though I spent there only two days I hold dear every minute of that time. Most of it I was drawing sketchmissions and I mean it when I say I loved it so much. It made me feel like younger me again, all the attention and praise was insanely motivating, despite growing slightly worn in the evening, haha.

Hopefully this might be a kind of a breakthrough and there will be more cons in the future for me.

Yeah, this is typicall for me, hopping on the bandwagon long after it was cool.

Hi, new year!

This is wonderfully blank journal.

Right.
I'll just pour my heart here aswell, since I know myself and that I rarely read people's journals.

Thing is - I have like quazillion commissions laying here, on my table. Truth to be told, at least two are from before the EF. After the EF, people went crazy and I LOVE that. So many people that praise me with attention and want a picture from me.
So, why the heck did I not started on it yet? Why is it laying here, in the files, all around, unfinished, leaving the people sad and upset?
My regular job is responsible for that. Of course, along with my laziness I guess. But I work like a horse and the outcome of it isn't as ...fruitful as I'd expect it to be, when it's taking 85% of my attention and focus. Of course, I spend the 15% for just staring into wow, or rather, staring at my horse partner and I prefer spending the time i have rest for her. Sometimes, I doodle at car, but that's hardly a place for properly working on a commission.

So yeah. I am about to take this leap of faith. I'm just quitting the regular job and steady income, for much more unsure possibility of artstry freelancing again.
I DO WANT to give you your pictures. There's nothing more I'd like to do at the moment, but to sit down and work on your pictures. I know it'll be rough, I've been there before. But honestly, I tend to advice people with this "just do it" and "ain't gonna be a slave to your own fears". Blah blah. It's time I live up to what I say.

In a nutshell - please, PLEASE, bear with me. When this month is over, so will be I with the job and then I will move on to the pictures, full time.

It was a blast.
Seriously, yet my best ef I've attended and that was thanks to all of you, wonderful people! Some of the moments will be stuck in my head forever.
I didn't even fail in my yearly achievement of "not managing to finish all the sketches on time". Though this time the score was pretty low, which is pretty cool.
I didn't manage to say goodbye to all the people I'd want to, and those I've managed, it wasn't as apropriate goodbye as I'd like it to be.
Thank you all for that wonderful few days. I am already looking forward for next year. SO MUCH. Hopefully I'll make it to more cons, because the atmosphere on these occasions is just magical, no matter what amount of work I have on me.

Back to the cab, work, and hopefully some drawing.

For the few of you, who wanted doorsigns from me for the EF, and you still don't see it - I am currently being crushed underneath my regular job duties, but FEAR NOT. For Your pictures will be done on time. I will upload them on Tuesday as a latest term, and in a case you'd be on EF already by that time, I am gonna bring the prints of the doorsigns and badges for you to the place. I will be arriving on Wednesday afternoon, and send you pm here, or just seek you out at the hotel.

If your commission was a standard picture, not being dependable on the Eurofurence, I ask you for a patience, I'll dive into those once the insanity is over. I value every commission I have, I am really happy for anybody who decided to trust me enough to order a picture from me.

I've brought my chopper out of the garage yesterday, and really looked forward to have a great weekend biking, since the weather is awesome.

Today, I woke up with my throat all achey and stuffed nose. Stupid cold.

Well, all i have left is to create something. So today is all drawey day! I am gonna color stuffs, draw some of my projects and hopefully make a few free sketches or commishes!

Never happened to me before, that someone shoves money in my face, taunting me with it and thinks he can dictate how to live my life. I am so surprised by this I even write it on journal. I guess it touched me that someone can think of me so low.
Not mentioning that this person that commissioned me let me work on his order for some hours, saying "wow i love it" and then ditching it without pay. So, as a message to those who could want to take this advantage on me - I will NOT make a clown of me for a few bucks. Or more bucks. Or even a million. Thank you dearly!

I'd just like to inform people who attended and didn't receive their pictures yet, that those drawings are being executed at the moment. My job made it very hectic through the holidays so now i am catching up.

Well. As expected, the whole AAM wasn't such a success. But I've tried out new things, learned a thing or two too! And I am happy and content. I will be distributing the auction winners' pictures through the holidays.

So, RULES! I love rules.

- Starting on Sunday, 1st of December, I'll draw one picture every day, until 24th of December, included.
- The auction will have it's own picture post every morning. The bidding and information will be happening there.
- I announce the style between 7.00 and 8.00. It would be either a pencil drawing, or a digital colored picture. There will be exceptions.
- The bidding stops at 18.00.
- You bid in replies to the last bid.
- The finished picture will be uploaded the other day, when a new bidding starts.
- One picture can star up to two characters (it can however be a landscape or object drawing, like "I'd like my character on this motorcycle", or "I'd like a landscape like on this photo")
- I draw no yiff stuff. Sensual, yes - porn not (you can always pm me and ask).
- Bidding always starts at 4€. minimum bid is 1€.
- Payments are accepted only via Paypal.
- You pay after the picture is done and if you like it. The picture will be uploaded in low resolution, if you will agree on paying the final price, I upload the hiress picture as soon as i receive the payment.

After a day at my regular work, and also after a realization that not everyone lives in the middle Europe gmt+1, I had to change the times.

The announcement of new auction will be done between 5.00 and 8.00 gmt+1. The ending of the auction will be at 20.00 gmt+1.

By them internets, 1€ is roughly 1.4$.

...is adventurous, bit annoying, very frustrating and wee bit exhausting.
So, yeah. Just a fast recap - past three months, I got lucky and lived in an appartement a friend was selling. It was arranged I could stay there until it is sold.
Well, that happened now. And it happened fast. And I have no replacement. At least I managed to put my chinchillas and Bolt to a friend for few days. Then I gotta move them to another place, and then another... Nobody wanna keep my pets for longer than few days.
As for me... I am lucky the weather is warm now, so staying outside isn't that harsh. And today, I got a place to stay with internets, yay!
So, yeah, thought this might be interesting news. Also because I cannot draw.

I made all those 400 kilometers back home in four hours. Jolly good!

As any year, Eurofurence was a blast, thank you all, you wonderful people that made it possible, that were there and that I had time to chat with, work with or draw for.

As usual, I brought few commissions back home, and they should be finished soon.

I don't have much to say here about the EF, maybe just that it was the best one for me so far.

So, last time I was bitching about life being unfair (again), making me loose job and computer, tool to make my drawings, thus earn for living.
Luckily for me, I still have my car, so I focused on a taxidriving now, hoping it'll help me at least some (wishful thinking, I would hate to let you know what kind of a job that is in here). And the car is breaking down too now, just for the record :P
With a little help of my friends I've managed to get a working PC somehow, it's no miracle but I can get the job done if I am patient enough. I am renewing the commission process with that, so here I go again, asking you people to get something drawn from me. Even a sketch picture would help me.
