Not mine.. per say... but with us moving very soon, renovating the house still, and two wee ones, we ordered a daily bento service for our dinner to save on time.
Now, they aren't the super cute ones that are usually packed for lunches, but VERY Japanese home styled dinners. Except rice.. we just have to make the rice.
Pretty reasonable rate too. Just a tad bit more than if I was actually buying the ingredients and making them. And they have a lot of ingredients! Will try my best to write down what everything is.
I wished I would have done this last time we ordered them.

So my folks just left to go back to America today... and the last week has been a walk down the memory food lane.
I am going to miss them.. a lot. By the furry gods, I am blessed in the parent department! Even if the are bad food enablers lol!!

So I am a stress eater... like will drink maple syrup straight type stress eater... *this kitty has a bit of a sweet tooth*
One of the things that can save me an hour or two from binging on those cookies or sugary lovelies is gum. Chewing gum really can take the edge off for me, so I've been keeping a big pack of it around to help.
What's you trick??

Nothing drastic. Just name three goals.. come check in and maybe I'll check up on you too.
For this week my goals are:
1.Drink more unsweetened drinks... hopefully 2L a day, but something close would be good
2. Keep it to two snacks a day
3. Do some type of exercise, like walk, or sun salutations. Something simple for this week.

1st:
baking crab Rangoon for the first time and sharing them with my mom. Playing the first Zelda with Little D, and him telling me not to die as I die over and over and over, then he keeps encouraging me... saying it's ok, or I did a good job defeating the monsters.
Seeing Little D putting together the puzzle blocks that you can make marble run mazes with and getting them more complex.
Haruko grabbing my shirt and holding onto me. Or shoving cloth into her mouth. Being able to see her first tooth coming in.
Also big YAY, first day she allowed me to put her on my back! Cleaning and cooking made MUCH easier!
Made myself banana apple oat cookie balls. First step to healthier eating(snacking)...
Little D wanting me to be able to see him playing with sparklers while I am feeding Nozomi. Also when I finish, he'll share his sparklers with me. He is insitant on it.
Watching\listening to Big D read to Little D until they both pass out.
This quiet time right now to actually be able to do this.

The 5th:
I haven't been keeping up with this like I hoped... been crazy busy but here we go. My dad is back in Japan. It feels wonderful having my folks here. I really love my parents and am so happy I am so close to them. My dad, with in the first hour of being home got Harukoto to laugh... her first real laugh. Little D keeps saying how much he loves his Grandpa B. On the way in the car to the Ube, my mom tried spitting her gum out the window, it flew back and stuck to the passenger window. It was silly funny!
Little D is really getting better at reading Japanese even if he fights me. He was super excited that Haruko also got to wear a jinbei.
I've been wanting to do art again and am slowly feeling it come back... I just need to find my art books again o.O.
Reading Little D and Haruko a book before betime... and trying to figure out the balance and placement of book, baby and 5 year old.
Sunday the 13th Obon
Little D has been pretty great with his little sister,,, besides the times he could have accidentally smother her with his pillow forts he makes around her or falling into her baby bassinet lol. He make's castles for her to be protected in, and then he'll get in there with her to tell stories. I think he dragged almost every blanket and pillow we have to make that fort... it was very cute! Horrible mess, but very cute!
Haruko has been really playing with her feet, the way she kicks them and holds the together is changing. Same with stuffing things in her mouth. She had her first round of shots this past week.. poor thing cried... man they stick those needles in deep! But she calmed down really quick and was back to her happy self in no time.
Grandma B was doing the 'going on a dinosaur hunt" with Haruko and Little D, and when she screamed so did Haruko. She's finding it something she can do now... got to curb that, but it is cute and funny... and barking at her in a gruff voice... was singing a kids song, gets her to laugh.
Made some more perler bead swords with Little D. He's really getting how to adjust patterns now, still needs a helping paw though.
We've finally been over to the other house to work on it. ELECTRICITY IS IN!! Soooooooo happy about having more than one electrical socket to work from!! Soon soon! We found some great storage bins for the kitchen.
Date night with the hubby was AMAZING... so nice to get out and he's been treating me exceptionally well.

Things I have wanted to commission for awhile now... these are in no particular order. If I can, I prefer to draw them myself, but time or style sometimes just doesn't allow. Others, I just love the artist's style and want to help, promote that artist.

So I jinxed myself with that last update... ended up in the emergency room just a few days later and then we spent a week in the hospital with a kidney infection... poor little thing :( IVs, cathaders, and some very strong antibiotics... they had some students observing us for class credits (university hospital). Sweet sweet gals, and we had amazing nurses they taught us some new tricks.
I changed my little kitten constantly before hand, but her poor little bottom would get so sore from the harness of the meds and constant changes... so we got a new lesson on how to properly change a diaper for babies that have chances to get infections easily.
Now, I normally will always open up a new diaper and put under the daiper I am changing... it has kept us from having so many accidents. Then, the new thing I learned, is to get a squeeze bottle, like a dollar store bottle for catchup or mayo, make sure it is washed and dissinfected. Then fill with warm water. Spray down their little parts, and making sure to work from top to bottom. This right here has saved little Haruko's bottom from becoming red! Anyways, after they are cleaned, PAT down with baby wipes, do not wipe as wipping can irritate the skin. Remove dirty diaper set aside, and wipe down back or get anything you missed... the next part is the more Japanese style part... which I saw my Mother-in-law do years go with Little D... but get out your sensu (folding fan, portable and good for distracting them),
or Uchiwa... actually the Uchiwa works better ( a fan that is on a stick and doesn't fold) and Fan down there parts until they are dry. We don't use powder, but if you do, or are using a cream for any diaper rash, this is when you put it on.
Next, put on the diaper and you are all done until next time! Which could be 4.5 seconds or two or three hours depending on your luck ;)

So my newest kitten, Harukou ismdoing well. She is such a little chunk! Unlike her big brother, little D, she is becoming very Rolly-poly and has the cutest chunk legs. She is also a smiler, which is very different from Little D when he was a baby.
She's slept the night through about two weeks ago, which was amazing for me! She's woken up a few times at night since then, but sleeps pretty soundly.
Yesterday she has just started cooing. It's adorable and I am loving it.
This time around I am much much happier as a momma kitty and am finding it so much easier... besides the times when I hav two crying kittens on my hands. Little D was not a sleeper, and I was very unsure of myself with him, to top that at that time my hubby was going through a depression, and I was his emotional punching bag. He never yelled or anything like that, but I did everything wrong, couldn't please the guy, and dreaded trying to talk to him because he always took it the wrong way... we are in a MUCH better place now. And that is also making this time with Haruko sooo much better. I am a much happier kitty! Not to mention my mother is still out here with me. She is being a god send.
Little D is being a great big brother. He is a bit jealous, but it can swing both ways. Sometimes he is jealous of me because Haruko will smile for me and not him. So many times I am talking to her, or trying to change her diaper and the next thing I know he's right under my face talking to her! He'll also sing and dance for her, which he NEVER does for us. He's also doing the regression thing, like drooling on himself, or sucking his fist... which I am trying hard to get him to stop. It can be a bit maddening sometimes, because Little D is a very high energy boy, and when he plays he can be rough or just throws his body around. Like tonight ... and hit poor Haruko in the head :/
Myself, my scar is pretty much healed. I am still numb where they stitched me up on the outside, and again on the inside. Also my vertical scar from before ( they did a low bikini line horizontal cut this time that crossed my old scar) well, it doesn't match up! Lol... they were about 1/2 and inch off.
Also I have now gained more weight since I have been home from the hospital than I did in my entire pregnancy with Haruko. I played catch up with all the nummy things. Now I need to try to stay away from the nummy things. *wide guilty grin*
I am a pretty happy kitty right now. Just need to get that house finished and moved in!

I'm not sure if I'll have time to draw it our not, but would love to do a breastfeeding pic with Nyeowzers and the new kitten... or maybe even a human one.

so I take it this should be rated as mature definitely if areola is showing, but if no areola is showing??

Sorry about the delay in the Raffle... I ended up getting hospitalized for preterm labor/contractions. I'm hopefully gonna be in here for a LONG time. We are looking at 2- almost 3 months. I go home after the baby is born. So... long is better much much better, please let this be a very long stay *prayers up to all non furry and furry good and kinds gods/goddess alike)
Doctors are kind, but still refusing me the steroid shot as of now. They do plan on giving it to me ( this develops the baby's lungs so they can actually survive if born early, but in Japan they do not like giving this shot, where in America, I would have gotten it almost two months ago)
Will update on occasion, I won't have the Internet all the time, as I am borrows my mate's iPhone for the time being.
