I know I don't come on here very often, and I don't really post that much. I tend to keep to myself and lurk, I do a lot of lurking in many different forums. However, recent political events in Canada have forced me to speak up.
I understand that there are many, many people out there who despise firearms in every form. I am not a fan of some firearms either, some weapons, don't belong in the hands of regular citizens, however the Liberal Government of Justin Trudeau recently announced a law which would, if passed ban virtually every airsoft gun, some paintballs guns, air rifles, pellet guns, starter pistols and anything else that remotely looks like a firearms. While I am not really a gun person I do play, and enjoy the sport of airsoft and this ban would, destroy airsoft and to a lesser extent paintball in this country. If any of you live in Canada and are able, and willing can you please sign a petition, write and even call your MP and tell them you do not support Bill C21 in it's current form.
Okay besides the politics, which is something I would rather not get involved in outside of when it is of immediate concern. I've been very busy playing Star Citizen, and leading my own Organization Hyperion Intergalactic if any of you are interested in joining me, in game give me a shout. I'd be more than happy to show anybody the ropes, or dive deep into theory crafting on what the future of the game may bring.

I livestream World of Tanks, and World of Warships, which one depends on how I am doing in the other game.

After getting a program that monitors all of the temps in my computer I have decided to take the plunge... literally and figuratively and put both of my GTX 780s under water with a pair of water blocks, also adding another rad and some feet of tubing to finish the loop... the cost is... well... crazy but the temps should be a good reward.

Well today I finished another trip around the sun... that's 34 times now... sometimes I wish it was less but can't stop time.

I finally finished it... mostly. I still want to get and upgraded monitor and a second SSD but for now it is mostly complete, and what a beast it is. I can play almost anything I want to at maximum, or near maximum settings.

Since I got back in the PC thing in a big way I've spent far too much money on it and now here I am building a monster machine. I am slowly collecting the parts to something that should last for years.

Some of these parts are already in my possession, but a good deal of them still need to be bought... ack these things are addictive!!!

Well on Friday I finally paid some more money, Damned this thing costs a lot, and upgraded my computer, again. I am running a brand new Motherboard, Processor, Ram, and Heatsink, with a few more parts yet to come on my list of things I want to get before this machine will, finally, be finished for the next few years.
Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K (Already overclocked a bit to 4.1GHz)
Motherboard: Asus Z77 Sabertooth (Now this board is clean.)
Heatsink: Zalmnan CNPS9900 Max-B (Does the job quite well, max load Temp is 60c and it Idles around 30c.)

So I am finally in the process of getting a new computer soon and the thing is going to be a bit of a monster, I am buying it from a fellow fur,  datareaper with some parts that I am buying myself for added awesomeness.

What is even crazier is the plans that I have for the new year for this machine which include new Ram, Motherboard, Processor, Multi-Card Reader and CPU Cooler... man this thing is going to be a bloody monster when I am done.

So I got an email today from a place that I applied to a job to work as a sales rep at a cell phone retailer and I got the job. I am over the moon because I got a job in a field that I have been trying to get into for the past three years. I want to use my personal experience with mobile phone operating systems to help people make an informed decision regarding what phone is best for them.
Now I just have to pay off all of my bills and get myself out of this hole of red ink that I've made for myself in the past seven months. Once that's done maybe I can get myself some decent images of my characters. Up to date images and maybe some badges. Time will tell but I am so happy that I have an income again... from a reputable company.

Well that is another year down, not that it was my best year ever, but I hope the next year goes better, I get more written and I find a job that I can enjoy.

Man that was a fun way to spend eight hours. Walking around a large hall packed to the gills with people and checking out all of the stuff. So totally geeked out over all of the swords at one of the booths, real swords not wall-hangers. Almost fell down when I discovered somebody not on their list of people in the main hall instead of the autograph hall. I mean yeah he wasn't the most popular character on Star Trek Voyager, but he was always there and he did play a role in a lot of what went on in the show. Never the less I did manage to get his autograph, as well as a picture with him and me in it. I probably spent too much money there but every once and a while I do have to sit back and have a little fun. Anyways other than that I have a few things that could be going better, but that is the way that life is you win some and you lose some. I have a part time job with a company selling websites, and I am looking, still, for a full time job so that I can pay my part of the bills, since they don't pay themselves. Other that that this cat is doing okay and looking forwards to the summer.

Man I had something like three hundred submissions to weed through to get it down to manageable size, that and I'm contemplating a move within the next two weeks... Yay moving to a city where there is an actual cultural scene. Yay me. I also get to move in with my girlfriend. Maybe on the trip I might get some writing done on either my phone or my laptop.

I wonder who'll get the hundredth comment for me... I think perhaps I'll give that lucky commenter a cameo in my latest story...

Well after god only knows how long I'm using a new avatar, and I've been writing a new story and posting it on my SoFurry account. It is clean enough for here, but the posting arrangement there is so much easier to use than FA's.
Other than that things are fine... though we've had a tonne of snow since Christmas. Some people here are complaining about all the snow, but I say bring it. This isn't Vancouver or LA this is Prince George BC and winter is part of living up here.

Well I've posted an update on my Blizzard chakat story on SoFurry and sooner or later I will post it here... possibly when I finish the current chapter. I hate it when my writing goes slow... then again I have more distractions that I should including StarCraft 2. To make things even more fun work and college give me almost no time to write.

1: Do you like videogames:
Yes... as long as they are good games with a decent plot, characters, gameplay, and graphics. No one feature must trump the others or the whole thing can turn into a bloody unplayable mess.
2: What is your favorite video game:
Well that is a toughy with my collection and tastes. Almost every game I have has a major redeeming feature. But since I have to name favourites.
PC - Starcraft, & Starcraft: Broodwar = This game is still compelling 10 years after release with a great story and fun gameplay. The game is also extremelly well balanced.
PS1 - Final Fantasy VIII = Though some people deride this game I love it. It was my very first encounter with the FF series and I still love the music and the characters.
PS2 - Okami = Maybe this is the furry in me speaking but I find this game very charming and a lot of fun.
PS3 - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GoTY = This game is endlessly addictive with a strong story and an ability to go anywhere and do absolutely anything.
PSP - Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. = I love the R&C series and this brought the series to my PSP... yay me.

I would have to say it was Duck Hunt and Mario Brothers at a friends place back in the late 80's or early 90's

I've seen a lot of game and a lot of characters and that makes the choices hard for me, but I'll give it a shot. I would have to say, right now, Clank. He is a real smart alec who has at times put me in stitches. He also has an interesting story and relationship with his partner, Ratchet.

Now I would have to get back on that... I can recall any number of frustrating and or annoying in game characters.

For me that is easy. I love the relationship that Squall and Rinoa have in FF VIII and it is wonderful to see it from the very begining.

Well that was an interesting play, definitely different. A musical based on the music of Elvis, kind of weird, but fun. Didn't give me any new ideas though. Guess I will have to keep plugging along with the ideas that I've already got, not that they are in any way bad.
My cub story is moving forwards slowly, as is the chakat story.
Just for fun I'm gonna post the portions that I already have in my cub story. I hope you guys all like it, and I hope this journaling thing becomes a everyday thing for me... Maybe getting into the habit will be good for me.
