Posted 15 years agoEl día de muertos it's a mexian prehispanic tradition adopted by the christian tradition during the colony.
Its a celebration in wich it's belived that the souls of our beloved beings come to visit us to celebrate and live together with us for one day, we raise altars for them with food drink and cigars they enjoyed in life, and we go visit them to the graveyard.
Marks two consecutive days (1 & 2 of november) the first day "el día de los santos inocentes" (holly innocents day) its the day we celebrate and remember the souls of the innocents (children) the second day is dedicated to adults.
We celebrate dancing, eating and drinking, we make fun of death eating sugar skulls wit our names, and writing satirical poems about our own death or other's.

Posted 15 years agoall the 50 slots of the challenge have been claimed, i am very gratefull wit you all people thaks for the support!!
i will have your requests ready as soon as i have the chance i promise!!!
BUT there is a lot of people that remained on the list, and i wont be able to attend to those requests.
i'm so very sorry about this people; but i will open my comissions again as soon as i finish with all the remaining requests of the challenge.
i will update my price list and all that and perhaps i will use the slot sistem too.

i will be making the requests as sketches only and for the trades it will depend ond the detail you are willing to use in your part (i am not a drawing machine you know?, and altough i was i still have to work at the toystore and study and all that, so you'll have to be bery patient with my times ok? )

bueno estaba escuchando esa rolilla (poniendole atencion mas que nada). y me puse a pensar que querria decir la persona que la escribio con esas palabras.
y bueno me puse a pensar que tal ves es alguien que se preocupa por una persona que quiere (obviamente), y le quiere decir que no este triste, por que cuando lo ve asi se pone triste tambien.
en cambio si tiene una actitud alegre ante la vida (como si cantara), esa persona puede ser feliz con solo ver la sonrisa de la otra persona (o escuchar su cancion whatever). no me hagan caso soy un romantico sin remedio >_<
en fin en cuanto a lo de home alone, se empiesa uno a hacer a la idea en unos dias, lo malo es me altera los nervios cuando no tengo con quien jugar o platicar; recuerdan que la gente me identifica con un perrito chihuahua por que soy pequeño, ojon, y supernervioso? ahora imaginence a ese cachorro tembloroso con una sobredosis de cafeina (diablos extraño mucho a mi hermano no tengo con quien jugar a... bueno nada de lo que suelo jugar lo hago solo. y a mis amigos ni se diga, apenas va a ser un mes y siento como si fuera hace eones que no los voy a ver u.u...). en fin. hace unos dias vino mi abue a ayudarme con las cosas de la casa (y valla que si se nesesita para mantener limpia tremenda casa y mas considerando que todos se fueron pero no se molestaron siquiera en limpiar su desmadre). y pues bueno ella se va a quedar unos dias acá y luego a lo mejor tambien viene su hermana a quedarse unos dias, y bueno eso me mantendra mas tranquilo cuando salga de la casa por ejemplo...
y pues bueno solo sentia ganas de escribir un poco, pero ya me voy

Posted 15 years agoyesterday i come back to the city from my vacations... and i have to say that a vacation was just what i needed, i feel kinda refreshed now, i am no longer depressed, and i feel quite ready for everithing...
i know i owe a couple of pics over there... i have one already finished i just have to post it here and the others still need some work.
i had time to sketch something while i was away so i will be posting that over here soon to.
and well uhm... i dont know what else to say

el artista y sus facetas
Posted 15 years agopor ahi se dice que los escritores siempre imprimen algo de si mismos en sus personajes, si vien no me considero a mi mismo como un escritor como tal, siento que si he imprimido algo de mi propia personalidad, si no en cada uno de mis personajes por lo menos si en los protagonicos, y se ha visto como en algunos casos el personaje alcanza un crecimiento que va a la par del mio, en otros casos el personaje no lo logra o muere (eso que querra decir?).
por ejemplo comencemos con mi primer personaje Peter Plastilina (mas adelante conocido como Pendragon), el es un lobo blanco y su personalidad es retraida, timida y torpe, tal y como era yo por aquel entonces, el personaje crece, se supera, consige amigos y hasta novia (si era hetero el chara), iwal asi me paso a mi
despues vino Reynard el zorro, un gitano cuya meta en la vida era ser feliz a costa de todo y sin importar a quien lastimara o pisara, otra ves era un momento de mi vida muy similar al del personaje, y creo que pise a mucha gente para lograrlo... la pregunta es lo logre?. el personaje consiguio su objetivo pero yo termine destruido por esa forma de pensar/actuar. en fin es algo que he podido superar con el tiempo
y actualmente viene Toto Maelstrom el conejo blanco, un personaje con una curiosidad infinita curiosidad que le lleva a cometer errores muy graves, los cuales esta dispuesto a corregir aun a costa de su propia vida; es algo que tambien ha estado en mi ultimamente, y Toto muere intentando corregir la magnitud de su error, yo espero que mis errores no sean tan grandes como para costarme la vida.
hay un par de personajes, Dino y Damian, que sinceramente no tienen mucho de mi asi que no los mencionare aqui
y por ultimo el personaje mas parecido a mi, Cid el gato negro que esta enamorado de alguien que no lo quiere, y aun asi esta dispuesto a descender al mismisimo infierno por esa persona... y hacerca de este no dire mas por que aparte les spoilearia la historia y tal ves hable de mas acerca de ciertas cosas .....
en conclusion podria decir que no es que acaree los conflictos de mis personajes si no que mas bien imprimo un poco de los diferentes conflictos en cada una de las partes de mi personalidad y asi es como nacen los personajes; como cuando estaba deprimido y pensaba que tal si esa tristeza fuera tan grande que atrajera un fantasma? o si me quisieran meter a la carcel por amar a alguien? y si mis errores cobraran forma e intentaran acabar con migo? o si tubiera que ir al mas ayá para rescatar el alma de la persona que amo? y luego pienso segun el estado de animo o la parte de la personalidad en base a la cual se construyo el personaje como resolberia los conflictos, y asi puedo lograr que los heroes derroten a la oscuridad, o alcancen la felicidad, o se mueran en el intento, y en el ultimo de los casos que descubran el valor de la amistad por encima del amor romantico.
otra cosa que me gustaria agregar es que si bien los personajes tienen algo de mi, llegan a ser tan complejos, que a veces me gustaria aprender algo de ellos, tal ves eso sea extraño, o tal ves el hecho de que he estado deprimido esta ultima semana sea lo que me motivo a escribir estas lineas, en fin creo que me voy a poner a dibujar a ver si asi me sacudo ese "noseque" que traigo encima.

Posted 15 years agoi have just uninstalled my photoshop program because it just started to give the wolrd of trouble u.u
but i dont have the instalation disk any more so i have just lost my predilect program forever >_>
so i may start to use SAI as my main coloring program
but the reason for this journal is to ask if anybody knows where i can download photoshop again..... or/and the latest version of manga studio (i have some time now looking for it)
so if anybody can help me with that i will be forever greatfull
