I'd like to get rid of a lot of my ~stuff~ lying around - like those sketch packets I had up on Etsy forever and those originals I did with scrapbook/that are matted. I've been considering getting stickers made, but I'm not sure who does them well these days (I'm a big fan of the work Paper Forest/Printsess did for Celesse and Bara-chan). Do prints sell any better than in the past? Are people buying more trinkets?

I know commissions are the big seller, but I have no intent of doing any - outside of maybe art card sketches. If I'm feeling up for even that.

I may do some art card sketches to sell, maybe some topless ladies. I should see what species might be popular sellers - outside of the typical ones, of course.

A few people inquired about something like this after seeing my most recent TRON-inspired piece. Someone else suggested that it might be a good thing to offer for commissions, so that's what I'm doing!

These are FLAT COLOR ONLY and only $35 (which still qualifies for my holiday freebies!), additional characters are still $10/each. That's $5 cheaper than my normal flat color pieces, mainly because I get a lot of creative freedom with designing the bodysuits. I mean, you can obviously give me ideas and such, but it's unlikely anyone's going to have a specifically detailed design down for their character's body suit.

So, as it stands, as long as I get my money from modeling on Friday, I'll have half rent. This doesn't count for the REST of the month (half rent is $260), but at least it doesn't piss my landlord off.

However.

Tony needs to get the tags for his car. Because the state is retarded and changed the time you have to get them, they charge an extravagant fee because they're assholes. So in order to even drive the car now, we have to pay $120 to get his tags. Which means we're restricted to buses only. Which is what we do normally, but I also can't job hunt or look for anything outside of the bus radius or on weekends.

SO IT'S A PRETTY COOL SITUATION.

Then I'm like, well, even if we do get the $120, that's more than can go on rent. It's a vicious fucking cycle.

Since I'm still struggling to find work and I am, officially, flat broke (I have a $5 in my wallet and that's it). Thankfully, I have my EBT card for food, so that's not an issue. To get it out of the way first: I am not attending Anthrocon this year.

There's a lot of reasons for it, but it mostly boils down to the fact that there's always drama within the group I attend with, despite us getting along great any other time. I also don't have ANY merchandise and I'm not wanting to do commissions all convention long. It's just not financially smart for us to go this year, what with rent and everything. Plus, I don't want to juggle getting some classwork done AND trying to enjoy myself.

Instead of AC, we're going to attend PRIDE in Cleveland, see a Journey tribute band and go to the Foreigner/Styx/Kansas concert that weekend. Which is likely going to be far more entertaining than AC will ever be.

I need to get some money together ASAP. About $275, which doesn't seem that bad, but I'm still unemployed and it's pretty much hell on earth.

Done in the style of my most recent pieces. You get a color piece, 1-2 characters, G-PG, colored and textured. This is ONLY digital however (which is why the price is cheaper than my normal color commissions, which are $90). There is no hardcopy original (sketch/ink on paper).
