Bobwhite by Magnolia Porter
The description on the last page sums it up perfectly; "I wanted to write about girls who I felt were missing from the kind of college movies and tv shows I was watching. Girls who didn’t have life magically figured out, who talked about stupid stuff and wasted their time doing dumb things. Girls who couldn’t always get what they wanted and made mistakes as often as they made good decisions. Girls who I felt resembled myself and the people I knew. I also wanted to write about college as I experienced it- where there weren’t always wild parties to go to and amazing, crazy, life-changing events every other night."
it's finished, it's beautiful.
Castle of cards by sparkynekomi
love love love love love for reasons i cannot entirely place. the basic premise i would compare to jack, but that would be unfair to the author, and the comics are only really similar by virtue of the fact that they deal with similar values and ideas- that is to say, hell and the afterlife and all that jazz, and there are certain things that just coincide with that genre. the art is fucking AMAZING, first off, and the author has put vast amounts of work into the storyline, which is something that, knowing such, gives me much confidence in the future of the comic.
Cheap Thrills by vivisectionbob

Okay, this story is.. so far, deep, moving, amazing. The characters are extremely real and the story is compelling, real life expressed in art, essentially. The art is fucking amazing, and the artist releases every page on time, when promised- twice a week, tuesdays and thursdays, and has never missed an update without some sort of warning. The story, knows her watchers, will not have a happy ending, but i can assure you it is and will be worth reading and watching through to the end- and it won't end for a very, very long time. I cannot give this thing enough praise, and everyone i know who's read it agrees.
has drug usage and a large number of dick jokes (not in a bad way, but a real way- these are real people)- there are sexual themes but they are not overpowering.
Cruelty by rukis
HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK. it's short, but it's amazing- about 42 or so pages long, and i cannot give it enough fucking love- the characters are real, real people, with issues and problems, trapped with only each other. Though you only get a snippet of them, you get to this point where you care for them and feel with them so much it's fucking amazing-
now, about 8 pages are withheld online, but they're not required for the story- the entire plot can be found her eon FA, but i highly suggest you go to furplanet and order the damn thing.
it does have some porn, but it's a choice on the part of the reader to view it- it DOES have strong violence and some reference to narcotics use.
Fred Savage by jodimest
Fred.. is awesome, to put it bluntly- He's a mercenary- a real one. If he were playing D&D, he'd be one of the only guys to play Chaotic-Neutral correctly-- and if that sort of character isn't enough to at least get you interested, there's this- The arts pretty damn good, and, as of the end of issue one, the story's pretty solid, as well. It takes place in Africa, tin the midst of war-time (though i've forgotten if it's any war in particular) and looks like it'll be dealing rather a lot with political corruption and things of the like- all juicy in their own right.
and if you're not much for the long-council-meetings that are twenty-pages-long- you don't need to worry- so far it's more guns and less talk, but definitely a lot of good story.
warning: mild cranial deformation
Furry Experience by ellen-natalie
FA Link
It's still in the early stages, somewhere in the area of 70 pages. The art style's fairly decent and definitely works for the story, and can certainly only get better-
it's self aware in kind of a weird way that seems to work alright, but part of me hopes it doesn't really stay that way, because if it's a technique relied upon too much then it'll get in the way of the story, and the references to "furry comics" being made by furry characters is a little awkward, but because one of the strong plot points so far is religion and its effects and interactions with the characters, it has my attention. It seems to be more about figuring out where it fits into peoples live than it is about pushing or preaching or declining it, and this caught my attention in a very good way. I am thoroughly looking forward to the way these characters learn and grow, and am hoping the artist takes us somewhere we can all benefit from and appreciate- it certainly has that potential, and i'll be following this one closely.
Grant by captaingerbear
gay werewolf. No porn, though, and really more of a slice-of-life kind of thing- updates sparingly, but rather worth the read.
Hanna is Not a Boy's Name by Tessa Stone
OH. MY. GOD. I LOVE THIS SHIT. um. dark humour, horror-but-not-really sort of thing- paranormal investigator sucks at investigating paranormally; accompanied by deadpan zombie (who narrates) and an extremely phobic vampire. Just-
wow. okay. the characters are all REALLY well defined. like. REALLY, REALLY. the story has a set, definite.. story, and she says she doesn't have any particular idea where it's going but the writer COULD HAVE FOOLED ME, seriously; the art's cartoony, but no more than ten pages in you get over it and begin to take the comic seriously, and remember it as though you'd been taking it seriously the whole time.. just. Fantastic, and not nearly as long as i'd like, yet-
updates are as often as she can make them. . .
also, the zombie is strangely sexy.
seriously.
Inner Space by maggock
FA Link
Okay.. i say this about all of them, but i really do fucking love this one. it takes place entirely within the main character's mind- a great place to be, from a writing standpoint, if for no reason other than the sheer freedom given- Mag is trapped there, without her memories, and guided only by- wouldn't you know it, a part of her Id.
it's nearly two hundred pages in, and damned amazing.
damned
amazing. will buy it in print if the opportunity ever arises.
Jack by driprat
yes, yes, i know, we all already know about this one, but i'd feel wrong if it didn't make it onto the list. at this point its biggest flaw is the fact that it just keeps dragging on and not adding much else to the plot, but i still follow it like the avid fanboy i am. It is, of course, gorey on all counts, and is not afraid of sex, but is, at least until Fnar leaves, an amazing read, and after some time picked that up again in the more recent story arcs. worth a read, but don't do it all at once, for your own sake.
Mr. Brightside by rgibson
Um, alright, it's exactly ten pages long and tells this awesome little story using only the lyrics of The Killer's Mr. Brightside- ALL of them, including any time that words or verses repeat.
I've never f5 spammed before, but i did it to make sure that i got each of the pages right when they were posted.
it's a little.. bloody.
One is Silver by keto and kashra
whoosh! alright, this will be coming in issues... the first one is 16 pages long- well worth the read. the art is amazing, and there is a promise of more to come, from what i gather.
absolutely astounding.
The Pale by Cody Coltharp
Okay. . . To NOT link you to this would be some kind of travesty.
it's experimental, in a way- each "page" is . . . a panoramic display, moreso than it is a "page" (you would have to see it to understand)-
the story is griping immediately, and the pages are set up beautifully so that any backtracking you have to do is done easily, without removing from the story.
And the art?
reminiscent of "The Surrogates" (though mister Coltharp is capable of keeping unnecessary squares to a minimum) no lines, and the way it's presented is unorganized, in the way that life is- it less than makes sense. . . except that here you get to look at it again.
the only bad news?
It's only 40 pages in, and between the layout of the pages and his work/life requirements, it updates pretty slowly.
The Phoenix Requiem by Sarah Ellerton
You can buy the first book here!
This story is complete! It weighs in at exactly 800 pages and ALL of my original objections to the art have been more than hammered out over time by the simple fact of artistic progression- if you don't like the look at the beginning, hold on. it gets WAY better.
the story itself is right up -my- alley (dunno about yours) with plenty of religion and questions regarding it- people change, people die. and never in pretty ways.
It's gory, it's fucked up....
and you don't need to wait for updates :3

150 pages even, part good-old-fashioned comic-book superhero, part mockery of that genre. Makes fun of any and everything (or maybe just most things?)- and takes an abrupt but natural turn into the utterly depressing.
more than anything it's amazing watching Ricky change and evolve, though there are some things that make you wonder. . . (why was Gina with him so long?!)

involves (currently) light violence, and some overtones inherent to war-
very good, watching a young lemur girl come intyo herself and her morals in the world where she finds herself trapped.
TwoKinds by Tom Fischbach
i.. it's fantasy, through and through. I'm kind of iffy on the hart style, but it's grown on me over time, and it seems like the updates come on the wednesdays when promised, i just have a short attention span so i never know for sure. I check this one sparingly, as i tend to forget... but anyway. There's a few plot elements that i'm kind of iffy on, but overall rather enjoy the whole thing, and am wondering how it will turn out- it seems to me something that will -have- to have an end, but.. lord only knows when it will come and what route it will take to get there- however, the plot as a whole shows an excellent amount of promise so i'm hoping the artist/writer doesn't fail us with yet another bad webcomic.
Vinci and Arty by vincinicolaides
adorable. Okay, it's kind of going slow, we tend to get a lot of fluff in between story points, but where the story is, it is DAMNED amazing- updates come relatively far between, it seems like, but it's worth it just for the sheer amount of adorable, i think.
Wednesday and Co. by sublimate
Okay, there's some tasteful violence, tasteful sexuality (but not sex, he's avoiding the porn for this one) awesome characters, stunning art, thrilling plot, and an amazingly well thought out world- this project has been a long time in coming, and chapter one has been completed at a whopping 97 pages. The characters are easy to like or hate, depending on what mister Sublimate wishes of you, and easy to find a way to empathize with- they each have their own set of quirks and personalities, and he does an excellent job of keeping each character in.. well.. Character. He's currently writing chapter two, but when it does update, it updates OFTEN.

FFFFF. Okay. it's beautiful, and so far really, really early into what's doubtless going to be a fucking AMAZING plot. I can tell. it follows a couple of different storylines, and at the moment it's just a tad difficult to follow- go read the characters page, it helps a bit- but i suspect that within the next coupla of months it'll start to fan out beautifully. The main characters each grab your attention nearly immediately with just a few words- a rather rare feat- and get you interested about who they are, where they're from- and why. Especially why.

Updates fairly regularly, though he does a lot of other things, so sometimes they come a bit slow- I'm a little iffy on the art itself, but am loving the story so far- the plot is fairly typical superhero stuff (to put it mildly) but the sheer number of characters and the way that the writer/artist handles them is amazing in and of itself. It may feel a bit slow but you can tell that everything is being done for a definite and exact purpose, and 80+ pages later we're finally getting to the good stuff- definitely worth following.
too lazy to finish the list right now.... but i'll keep it as updated as possible, and all this shit is definitely worth the read.

Tzeetz
Posted 15 years agoStephen’s last name.. is fucking weird.
Spelled Tzeetz, pronounced Cheech, but I always pronounce it closer to how it looks, which I cannot explain, only sort of say.
Anyway, so, I knew these kids in elementary school, last name Csicsery, pronounced Chichery.
Not sure why I thought of that name trying to come up with a last name for him, but I did, and his name sort of turned into Cseecs, but I thought that that looked kind of wtf, so it became Tcseecs, less gay because of the Ts, and then it became Tczeecz, which was even more badass because of the Zs
And then I dropped the Cs all together because Ts and Zs are badass letters.
Actually, it’s because I kept forgetting how to spell his name, is why It kept changing, but the pronunciation has always been more or less the same.
.. I felt the need to explain that for some reason.

David K. Nelson- We Love You
Posted 15 years agosometime in the last coupla of days, my cousin David passed away at 47 years of age.
He has a wife and a son, who is currently ten years of age, and just recently published the first of what was intended, i believe, to be a series of books- He had his first book signing sometime last month (i can't find the date) and was scheduled for another one on the 23rd of May-
it is his wife's birthday, as well as his sister's.
My mother says my dad keeps thinking it must be a mistake, and I don't blame him, for what i know of David, and mom-
here.
"Melisa Nelson:
I had no idea that he had been ill. Whenever I talked to him he was always so positive. He had also been very supportive to me during my ordeal. I am so saddened by this - I wish I had some eloquent words to project."
Mom's recently been through a shitstorm of a trying to get her eye surgery- and then she was more or less blind for some time- and she got fairly close to David during that time. (as close as one can get when contact is mostly via internet)
"Ashley Ray:
Evidently he had the swine flu last summer. (no clue if that's related) they are doing an autopsy. He was 47. A few weeks or so ago he had blood in his stool and had bleeding ulcers. David overheard the doctor say he won't make it. But he did and was back at work. Denise (his wife) checked his vitals each night & he was fine.

Then last night he was really really tired after work, Ate dinner then went to bed feeling exhausted. He said he was affraid to go to sleep because he though he would die. Denise checked on him thru the night, and the last tine she did, he was gone. She tried to give him CPR while waiting for the medic, but he was already gone. Today is her birthday. It's a very shocking thing. "
that's.. fucking disconcerting, more than anything, i think. actually said it, he's afraid to sleep because he thinks he's going to die.. and.. he did.
... Anyway, for what it's worth, his book is called "Trucking with Noah" and it's published under his name, David K. Nelson- apparently it's a good read, given that it's a kid's book, and I'd been planning on purchasing it and getting it signed at the family reunion.
wwrrr. if nothing else, it's.. a shaker, i think, just.. in general. I don't know him too well but i feel, strongly, for his wife, kid, and siblings. (and i think his father is still alive, as well)
If you're the praying type- pray for them.
(not him so much, I'm fairly certain that he'll have made it into whatever heaven you may or may not believe in. :3)

Would REALLY like some feedback, guys (reading)

christ, getting people to read shit is like pulling teeth D: (i have very little reason to complain, i don't like reading on the computer, either)
ALRIGHT, what i'd LIKE feedback on is almost exclusively the kids. I'm having trouble integrating them the way that i'd originally wanted to- they're supposed to be ..... helpful, when Stephen has to enter hell to start solving the puzzle that's in place (guards disappearing, kids dying, hell breaking loose, you know)
i need ot know if they should be dropped (except on the personal level) or integrated in a different way
the original idea involved -three- kids dying, do not know how- get stuck in limbo (cave number two)
stephen finds them, they know something he doesn't about the disappearance,
and.. it goes from there.
essentially they need to help him so that they can get through the gates to get to heaven.. or .. wherever. (incidentally, these gates also lead to hell- it's based more on the idea of Sheol than heaven/hell.. but one of them is common enough for most people to understand.)- kind of an unfinished business deal.
I'm a little iffy on the idea now, though, and even if i can make it work, i'm not sure that i WILL.
so yes, input.ideas.questions. whatever :3 i can answer if there's something you want to know and i can take crits if you have them... though i'm not looking for crits so much at the moment as input regarding whether or not the plot will or will not work.
And, if it helps as incentive or not, if i find your input sufficiently helpful, I'll put you on my list of people to doodle/draw giftart for. (yes, i do have a list, and I'm about halfway done sketching the current list)
also-
pretty much all the info about the plot and world so far can be found through here somehow-

Titling assistance- (Contest)
Posted 15 years agolooking for a decent name for this-
It's sort of gone through a few different names-
including Double Time (as in over-time, time-and-a-half, Double-Time) and a few variations on Gate Keeper- Including the current working title, Porta Custodis
I sort of want the title to be in latin or perhaps hebrew, because there's a large amount of Abrahamic religious influence;
Anyway!
Here's essential Information:

there's all the info you need.

Comment below with the following information: (notes do not count as they are harder to keep track of)
1: Proposed Title
2: Reason (why it makes sense as a title, source language, if other than English, other relevant info)
And here's the prize structure-
There is -only- a first place, and i reserve the right to not pick a winner.
I am making an allowance for porn, if desired, and the pic would be something right about this quality: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3061434/
up to three characters, with a background- and if you so desire, i can record as I'm working :3
I'm going to be straightforward and rather honest, Priority is probably a little below commissions- whether or not something gets done quickly depends a lot on the subject and how much I honestly want to do it, as well as current schoolwork and family life and all.
Anyway-
Deadline is whenever the sam hell i choose- i'd set an actual deadline but not enough people are gonne enter, anyway.

Bulk Commissions
Posted 16 years agoCLOSED
I am re-posting this because the previous incarnation of the journal was getting to be sort of a mess, and I wanted to update the terms and processes of the "Bulk Art" Idea
Here's the basic Gist:
You procure for me one of the things below, and for each 30 dollars you spend, (including shipping) you get one day during which You may send to me as many picture ideas as you want, and I -must- finish them (in time- limiting -me- to one day is kind of silly)
You may specify any level of detail for any picture-
the most important restrictions:
No comics longer than three pages
No porn (Unless you get me something I REALLY REALLY want!)
No Poop (visible poop. implied poop isn't so bad)
Here's the process:
1: You contact me, stating what you intend to buy- Include approximate shipping.
2: I give you the shipping address, if applicable. (if you would like to calculate shiping on your own, my US ZIP code is 95826)
3: Email me with a carbon copy of the receipt- so that i know you bought it.
4: I respond with the final day you have to request pictures, and how many days are between now and then.
5: You may begin suggesting immediately.
6: When the Item arrives and I ensure it's in working order and all, I will start sending you sketches (i actually might send them before then, 'pending how long it takes to arrive)
7: from then on, it's just me updating you with your sketches/inks/etc.
Here's how to get me to draw things on my no-no list:
1: Pay for faster shipping without adding it into the spending price
2: Buy me something I -really really really- want (for easy perusal, these items will be green in the wishlist)
3: buy more than one thing (I'll specify what that means, as each item is prices differently)
4: Buy something -really- expensive
5: Be awesome (no hints as to what that means)
6: Random (similar to be awesome, except even more subjective)
I will only be doing one of these at a time, because of the workload they tend to entail (though I do take bribes to open up early) and they tend to open up again immediately after my previous workload is finished.
OKAY! Now that all the important stuff's out of the way. . .

question about markers nao!
Posted 16 years agomurruahahahahah.
hokay, so I've been using Tombows for - well, forever, really.
and actually rather like them (for all their flaws)- but
Fuck, guys, the color selection is damned horrible.
So I need suggestions-
Somethign right in that price range (three bucks, tops, per pen) that's halfway decent and comes in more than 88 colors-
r at least.. somethign witha color scheme that makes more sense.
It's nearly impossible to shade red, pink, light blue, and yellow with these things-
there are like three shades of yellow that, for my purposes, are -exactly the same- and it's nearly impossible to blend oranges into yellows to make up for this fact.
so.
YES.
I'd like to bust my bank on things other than my markers, because no matter how good copics are, I can't justify buying five, six dollar pens and twelve dolalr refills (although the whole refill thing might be.. fucking, like, a godsend, as far as money goes- but still >>)
I'm gonna be replacing my tombows with whichever new pen I decide on as they run the fuck out . . .
fff.
anyway
tl;dr: Artist knows nothing about Markers, would like help deciding what to buy for when she starts to replenish selection.
Would very much like brush tips.

the cement shit she ran through my hair right afterwards sucks balls though.
Will take shower tomorrow and try my gel, since it's somewhere more finger-friendly.
if this fails, I will attempt to use the old water/fingers/STAND UP DAMNIT trick =P
and.
i got my temporary Seller's Permit from the Board of Equalization today, for Further Confusion in January. (holy shit, FC's in January?! *fake shock*)
they.
they spelled my name wrong -_-
this is not uncommon.
many, many, many people misread (and hear) "Kyla" as "Kayla"

So, Jeff's Locksmith was robbed this morning
Posted 16 years agoor last night.
Jokes on the robber, though.
he broke the door/window and stole the cash register.
which he won't be able to open and doesn't have anything in it, anyway.
. . .
Dumbass,
thievery rule #1: Cash register is empty when the store is closed.
We're thinking about leaving the instruction manual and the keys for the register taped to the outside window, so that he can figure out how to use the register-
we clearly don't need them anymore :3

little bit more concerning the Sandman Project :3
Posted 16 years agoI got to send off the info fer Sandman yesterday :D
or, at the very least, i finished my current part. I'm in the process of finalizing character design, but otherwise it's all set to start bein' written =D
Anyway :3 I need a composer who's willing to work with myself an' the writer (:icontoyapup, i believe) I'll be able to send you the basic information so you can get an idea of the characters and the world, and you'd get updates on the script as it's worked out, so that you know the mood and things-
and. I'll try to express the general "feel" i want it to have, as well. (expect rambling, though. my thoughts don't always hit paper in a way that reads well)
Anyway! Ability to work within a range of genres would be much appreciated, as the genre to be written in hasn't been decided yet. (i have a sort of general idea, but the song and lyrics that sparked this isn't much in terms of the overall theme)
need to figure how I want it animated, and start looking to see if anyone is interested.
I'm kinda leaning toward full CGI. . . to be honest. I feel like i can get the gritty, sort of "real" and "serious" feel i want this story to have out of CG, better. . .
that's not to say it can't be done with 2D animation. it's .. harder to get away from the.. I dunno. it seems more childish, somehow? I know it's not, but.
YES>
anyway.
opinions on this are much appreciated, and reasons why even more so.
(i'm sort of on a post Kaze: ghost warrior high, since i finally realized that the youtube post of it came in three parts x3)
and I'm gonna be browsing Character model artists to start making models, I think, so that some of it's already done by the time the script is- and to help the actors (whoever the fuck they end up being) get more of a handle on the characters they'll be playing~
(if you are confused as to what the fuck i'm talking about when i speak of "sandman" then i suggest you see here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/884235/ )

Okay. New Project. But I'm doing this one a little different
Posted 16 years agoThe Sandman
The Sandman is an ageless (or, at the very least, slow-aging) being- a doctor, one might say.
He has been known to assist the insomniacs to sleep; to ease the dying's pain while they pass- even, on rare occasion, to assist surgeons with anesthesia.
At one time, only a few years past, he was commonly found in a small town . . . (no name for it yet)
Five years past, he was a major role in the town.
He was a flighty character, but still seen in the streets often, hauling his cart of sands from the night shores of the fountain of youth.
It was the seventeenth day of the sixth month when William's parents died. He was seventeen at the time, the oldest of six children.
Two of them- the next oldest- passed the same day, leaving his three youngest siblings in his care.
Sandman was the one who found his mother, father, and siblings just outside of town, and the one who brought them, in his cart, to the door of the leopard family's house-
and the one who, once the remaining children had sniffed their goodbyes, swept sand over their eyes and allowed them to leave this world peacefully.
the next two years, William was forced to move his family out of their home- into a four-room shamble closer to the edge of town.
over this time, sandman, taking pity on the children, would fleetingly appear to help put the younger ones to bed, to ensure that their dreams were not haunted by their parent's death.
and, over this time, William found himself incapable of turning away the orphans who inevitably showed up at hs door- shelter, even without any real food, being better than sleeping on doorsteps and in gutters.
---
Kwatus was the sort who never went to school. AN elephant, making a sturdy living as a taxi pull and delivery man. He was raised in an extremely self-centered lifestyle, but left in his early teens, upon realizing the detriments of such a way of dealing with things. (old habits are hard to break however, and coupled with his natural cynicism and generally standoffish, can make him a bother to be around)
He met William a few years before will's parents died, and they lost contact quickly, only meeting up again within the year after their passing-
as of now, they have a barter system.
William allows Kwatus room and board, and in return he will provide taxi and delivery services- or help watch the kids.
(he is nineteen as of the time of ths story, whereas will is 22)
He knows the sandman n passing, but otherwise has no real opinion on the character.
(Kwatus is an elephant)
---
Heather is the oldest child currently in Williams care. She is seventeen and quiet. She is one of the few orphans who had the opportunity to learn to read and write before losing her home, and as such will home school the younger children, to give them any edge they can get for life in the future.
She was the first orphan to come in to Williams house from off the street, and holds a passing love interest in Kwatus.
She holds a bit of a grudge against the Sandman, relating to how her parents died and hs involvement.
(Indri Lemur)
---
Sasha is the youngest of Williams siblings, and arguably the favorite- she is a bold child, six years of age as of this story, and a natural leader. She is often up and helping out any way she can, even iis that means that she's more in the way than doing the dishes.
When the sandman reappears in this story, she takes to him immediately.
(her and her siblings are African Leopards)
---
Emmeri is one of those kindly waitresses.- working the entire diner for not -quite- enough money- but she's a kind woman and loves what she does.
she has a hot head on her shoulders, but all she -really- wants s a friend-
which she pretends that she's found in Kwatus, who comes by the restaurant for deliveries, and whose ear she likes to chat off every chance she gets- being that he's the only one who treats her even remotely like a person on a regular basis.
she knows William and his lot primarily in passing on the street and friendly hellos.
she has a general mistrust in the sandman, but has never seen him with her own eyes.
(she's a Bongo))
---
ANYWAY. Sandman is a donkey 8D
so, this story takes place AFTER those events.
five years after willam's parents died, three after the sandman disappeared.
this starts on a night when will s trying to get Sasha to sleep, and it goes from there based primarily on responses to the sandman's reappearance and the reactions of those six to him and each other.
Ths s where y'alls come in. . .
this s intended to be a Musical.
yes.
a MOVIE.
Animated, goof god, PLEASE LORD ANIMATED.
I need, in this order,
a writer, because quite frankly, i can't finish a damn story to save my lfe.
should be written in script format, of course.
I -MIGHT- do lyrics, if nobody else can do it =P
a COMPOSER.
preferably more than ONE, to do the scores and songs.
i would like to have something closer to the original musical formula- all the songs sharing some fundamental musical element. be it just rearranged notes or whatever.
ths s intended ot be a CHALLENGE to you, as musicans.
score isn't required until post-production, i beleive, but the "songs" are, if you get my sloppy english as to what i mean by the dfference.
VOCALISTS.
should be able to sing as well as VOICE ACT.
f you're interested, please inquire within. I have an idea as to, based on personality, what each character should sound like, but if we can't all sing on the same key, then we're fucked anyway =P
ANMATOR
preferably MORE THAN ONE.
either CGI or Traditional- hell, even flash, as long as t's POSSIBLE TO AMKE A FEATURE-LENGTH FILM.
FOLEY
probably the only sound thing that happens after animation.
and somebody who can put together a DVD menu.
I know plenty of places to make molds for DVDs (yes, legitimate DVDs, not home-burned) so it'd just be figuring out the commands, whch i do not want to touch, because i am incompetent lke that.
MY ROLE:
I don't want to bea heavly nvolved, as in, doing work.
've met myself.
t will never get done.
I'm, like, the dude with the coffee, or a co-drector.
I want to see how it works, and I'd like to retain some rights to the characters, or SOMETHING. . .
and 'd like a vocal part, for sure.
and 'd be the one you'd pass your stuff by to say "HEY S THIS OKEY" but that's ABOUT T. (oh, and moderate character design x3)
other:
I do, n fact, plan on selling this, once completed.
if for profit, then it wll be a split, and you'd get a check say, every 25$ or so.
if not, then, wel, the cost of the movie would be enough to cover the cost of the DVD and shipping, and that's ABOUT it.(the rest would go to charity, or somesht.)
ANYWAY.
first off, writers.
plz sign below or note if interested.
here's hoping that by taking the focus off of ME doing this sht, it'll actuallhy get done.
(more nfo on characters and world can be provded if needed)

C'n Ya do me a favor? (requires 10+ pages of reading)
Posted 16 years agoI'm in the process of fleshing out a story, and I'm in dire need of input :3
I threw two sets of roughly five pages up into my scraps last night, and should have a nother 5-10 up tonight. (i've gotten to the middle of the story, which is the part where we currently have the most plot holes)
I need to know how easy it is to follow.
THings to keep in mind:
it's supposed to be a "mindfuck," "everything is explained at the end" sort of story, and it is supposed to jump around a little bit-
as well, I intend for it to end up in COMIC FORMAT, so as far as Text goes, I don't really need any editing or "grammar" atm. there are some things that I am aware of (such as me referring to things that were not written, but that DID happen somewhere else in the text, even though, in comic format, it would have taken place at the correct moment.)
as well, wherever you see a *** or similar "break"- that's where one or more of the following occurs.
1: that arc ends.
2: drawing and/or writing style switches. (I have/had heavy input from the other "character" in the story, Aubry.)
We had originally intended it to be fully collaborative, but she disappears for months on end due to family issues, so I've ended up doing most of the work ^_^;
3: short time skip.
4: Location Skip.
ANYWAY!
first five or so pages, in word format, here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2408396/
second, Here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2408493/
and, for shiggles, the fiirst 13 pages of the comic, which will be re-done in a similar style.

(also! the preview image was drawn by AUbry, and the cover version you see in that thread was COLORED by myself :3

Input much appreciated~
(and no, I won't be giving out spoilers D:)
