Going on a trip this week
Posted 2 months agoThis week I am going on a trip with my brother and sister to Ottawa where we will be staying with some older siblings of ours for two days and two nights starting on Thursday. We will then be heading to Kingston on Saturday for one night to visit both Fort Henry and the SS Keewatin, which is the vessel that my main OC is skipper of.
As it's been nearly a decade since I last saw her and with having a better camera on my Android camera than the digital camera I had used back then, I plan to retake most of the shots that I've uploaded here as well as get photos of the places onboard that I couldn't such as the bridge, boat deck, wireless room and such.

Laptop out of commission
Posted a year agoMy laptop experienced a technical mishap on Tuesday night this week when, without warning, it shut off on me and refused to turn back on even when plugged in. I've taken it in to where I got it at Best Buy to see if it can be repaired. If it can't be, then I'll have to get another one. Until then, any pictures that I was working on will be delayed until I either get back the laptop or get a replacement.

Posted 2 years agoStarted getting popups on YouTube telling me to turn off my ad-blocker...and to Google I say Fuck You! I will not tolerate these ads that are intrusive and potentially dangerous to my laptop all because you have a hissy fit over people using ad-blockers.
Titan submersible incident
Posted 2 years agoI've been following the news of a tourist submersible diving the wreck of the Titanic that went missing a few days ago that has, unfortunately, imploded from the intense pressure killing all passengers onboard.

Titanic Week 2022
Posted 3 years agoTitanic Week is nearly upon us. For this year, I plan on doing a remake of the Carpathia picture I did back in 2016 as five years has passed since I did that picture and I feel it's time for an update. I might do a couple of photos of some Titanic books I own and I will be posting some Titanic tweets on my Twitter account as well as watching Titanic documentaries I own on DVD.

Water system troubles
Posted 4 years agoMy town's drinking water system experienced a major problem on Saturday last week and was forced to shut down the system out of fears of a possible chemical contamination with a "Do Not Use" order. Turns out that wasn't the case and now we're under a Water Boil Advisory until midday on Tuesday this week. Until then, we cannot use tap water for drinking, cooking and so forth.
Laptop's going
Posted 4 years agoI've been having some issues with my laptop lately with programs often not responding while I'm using it. I asked my sister for some help and she's suggesting that I will likely have to get a new laptop as this thing is nearly a decade old. I'm going to get her help in choosing a new one through some Black Friday sales.
