Posted 9 years agoI guess I'll start with an apology about leaving the fandom, and towards anybody I may have hurt or been rude to at any point. It's been a pretty long road the past 5 years since my last journal, and I've been making a mess of things from one coast to the next(In america that is).
I've sincerely missed the fandom, it's full of a bunch of caring, loving people that tend to only want to know more about you and chat. Despite what I thought, and what I allowed my parents convinced me of, the fandom is a good place and it made me a better person. It helped me be a real person. I was intrigued by people, I asked questions about them, and discussed whatever came to mind. Since my self-removal from the fandom, I've only become a jerk whom tends to think moreso about himself than others.
This is going to be a slow return to the fold, but hopefully I can get back a few people I've pushed away. In no way am I saying that I'm in the 'best place I've ever been', or that I don't have any problems. That's part of being human, to have problems and have to figure out how to get past them or to live with them for as long as you can. At the same time, we're allowed to choose how to act and react, so I'm going to try and choose to be a better person. Hopefully find a few people to knock me down a few pegs when I need it.
Ultimately, I'm sorry everyone for the weirdness I mighta caused, and in a non-narcissistic way, I hope that my absence didn't cause y'all to blink twice. Minibull and minicatbull are back! Watch your step, or watch mine!

What's happened up till now.
Posted 14 years ago[left]Ok, guys... The drama lama has bee knocking on my door since monday. I'll explain everything from there. This isn't a plea for pity, this isn't a cry for attention, this happened and it's proving to be difficult.
On monday, my parents happened to stumble over some furry paraphernalia in my room. How they found it, or what they did to find it isn't that important. Unfortunately it led to a raid in my room and my parents found most of everything. My fursuit, badges, pictures, and they claim they got into my computer to see what I have been writing(I haven't been, and my computer is under password... So I don't know if that was true.). All-in-all, my mother then did research about furry and realized that I had been going to the furcons.
Now, I am going to pause for a moment to explain something. I made extravagant lies for my parents, claiming that I was going off for culinary adventures when I was actually going to the furcons. Their anger and pain for my lies is completely understandable, and I don't hold any anger towards them. I hurt them, and lied to them about all things furry. This led to what I called and 'intervention' for my furry 'lifestyle'.
After work on Monday, I came home to this gathering and they discussed exactly what they found furry was and what they wanted. They gave me the whole, “This is our house, and as long as you live in it, you have to live by our rules,” speech. My mother was apparently caused emotional trauma as a child, which led to this next part.
From her research, she learned that the two 'creators' of furry are pedophiles that still today lobby for the legalization of pedophilia. Now, I didn't know this, and I never knew furry had official 'creators'. I have hear stories about a bunch of different people who claim to have 'made furry' but that's another conversation. All-in-all, my mother said that it hurt her that I even associated myself with an organization that was created/backed pedophiles.
I learned later that she had read a story that I had stupidly printed out. It was a collection of stories, only two of them I cared for, and one of them contained pedophilia. In what I saw, this led her to believe that her son was a pedophile. So with them thinking I am a pedophile, not that they said to my face, “I think you're a pedophile”, and thinking that furry is a demonic influence in my life, they told me that if I wanted to keep living in their house, I would need to throw out all my furry paraphernalia. It's currently all bagged up and by the door. I'm not allowed to throw it away, or else I would take up the multiple offers there have been to save it. They're going to go through it and then throw it all away themselves.
The next part was complete disassociation with the furry community. I can hang out with them, sparingly, as a 'normal' person, but I can't be a furry. We talked about this one for quite a while, and the ideal situation would be for me to be completely cut-off, but they know that's not reasonable. Also, I have to leave my door wide opened. Can't close it at all, aside from two minutes to change.
There are other, less important facets, but I want to discuss my parent's actions. I fully think, and understand that this is their act of love. That they want to save me from myself, from the devil's influence, and try to pull me out. My mother continues to say that 'I don't know what it feels like to be free anymore'. Maybe she is right, though I don't think she is. They brought Christianity into the conversations, explaining how fetishes were sick and how people who were part of this fandom had something wrong with them. My dad said we were a 'Secret Society of Misfits'.
I also know I brought this upon myself. I wove the lies, I knew this was coming. I didn't know it was going to be so severe... but I knew that the hammer would eventually fall, and it's fallen right on my balls. Jackass style. I am a Christian, mind you, and it's why I can understand this all. You all have become my closest friends, and I have had some wicked times. I don't want to stop, and they know it. Hell, by typing this message right now, I am defying them. No access to anything furry, whatsoever.
Now, I'm going to start looking for a place to move out. I could go through the motions, like I always do. Do what they want, fake a smile, and convince them I am happy with them. I could do it, but I refuse to do it anymore. I have been living like that since we bought the restaurant. I don't care if I fail, and end up moving back into the house. At least I tried to make things work. At least I tried to preserve myself, and my love for my family. By moving out, I don't want to be subjugated from them. I'm doing this to preserve my love for them. To preserve the relationship, so I don't end up hating them again.

Posted 16 years agoWell... As of October 27th I was in this fandom for three years. It was the day I actually could say I had a character, Odarious. Don't regret it at all, and I haven't even changed characters. About this time, last year I went to my second furmeet. Firstly, thanks 
reil for inviting me and 
red_cyberdragon to our first furmeet in September of last year. But yeah, at this second furmeet, it was where I met 
KeyOmi and 
Kayskah. That meeting led to so many other people, and I thank them so much. I have met sooo many new people! I'm in a pack, it's all totally awesome.
So... as for the people I have met... Ugh... This'll take me twenty minutes to find all yer names... X.X

Had some drama with a few other friends... I believe the drama with one is settling, and all is good... Uh... What eleeeelse... Oh! I just moved to a nightmare townhouse... ^.^;; If ya want the dealio with that... Just poke me, but it's nothin' for all 'yall to woryr your little heads off.
My crusher is working, too!
All-In-All... Great year. Awesome... Next year... sheesh... Atlanta FurCon, FC, AC, and Califur... SHEEEESH.... XD Y'all suck for making me go to these. ((And yes, I decided to go to FC. :P)) Aside from that, ima hopefully finish up these classes I need to take, and be in New York for schooling by then!

Posted 16 years agoHeyo, all! Been a while since I have made a journal... but... yeah! ANTHROCON!
For all who don't know... My parents are crazy christian, WTF-UNCLEEEEN people. They are nice folks, though... Soo... they didn't know about this little venture. Instead, they thought I was going to Chicago for the taste. They believed me, though, so I win in the end.
Day One: I got to Ohio, and the lost my bags. Jevin and Yakitate picked me up. I worried over my bags for hours, till I finally passed out.
Day Two: Bags got settled! Jevin, Yaki, and Dag_arim all headed to Pittsburgh. We parked, and headed to the con, where we trolled around the Zoo. Lunch, then I got to wait in the Registration line for two hours... Yaaay... Then I started getting texts from 
bigDCstile saying that he was there, and we were to meet up at the Zoo.
Now... by then, I hadn't gotten a chance to shower, brush my teeth, or change. I was getting con-funk, and was feeling nasty. Devon... is Devon. I didn't want to meet him while all funked up..., sooo... I ran away to the DoubleTree to change and take a shower.
Back at the Zoo, I knew exactly who I was looking for. Two huge black guys. By then, I knew I was meeting up with
Juno-King The moment I walked in? Yeah... I spotted him. I calmly... or... well... as calmly as I could. ((I was fucking nervous.)) I moved in, and stealthily hugged him as he said my name. Now... when a guy that is 6' 5" looks at you with a, 'Who the fuck are you?' look on his face... you get scared... but... the moment he spotted my badges... he went in for another hug. Nice and tight. Juno was there, too. That night? We all hung out in the room. Tyren, Dag, Jevin, Yaki, Rath, and I all shared a room. It turned into a nice meeting area.
Day Three: More hanging out with Devon and Juno! :D Juno went off to hang with some friends, and I had just gotten done whoring something from one of the artists in the alley. After that, Devon, Matthias, and I all hung out outside of the Dealers Den, while waiting for
Crux to get there.
Now... Crux is an insane guy. He was working on the pieces for his art auction the entire night, and hadn't gotten any rest. Our medication? Lunch at the mall! We all went and hung out. It was chill. After that, we all kinda parted ways, and I headed to the Big Gulp party. Met

Crux had come down to check the scene, and I decided to go back up to his room with him. He still had work, and I didn't want to leave him all alone. Devon joined us a little while after, and we all hung there, till there was a migration into his room, where there was a 'macro' party!

Day Four: More art Whoring! :D Go me! Uh... teasing... making fun of... Crux joined us, and we didn't let him leave. I got my bids in on the artwork I wanted, and we just hung out... all night... no sleep... x.x
Day Five: Devon left... ;.; We got our final goodbyes. I was sad... Last day of con... meeh.
Day Six: Hung out with Crux till I had to go. Drove back home with the same crew I drove with, and that was long... XD Slept...
Day Seven: Dropped Yaki off at the airport with Jevin and Dag. Went out to eat, checked my itinerary... I thought I was leaving at 5... I was leaving at 3 instead! Uh... Airport drama... Delayed flights and stuff. Got to Chicago for layover... was able to get my mom a coffee cup from the city I was supposedly in... >.>;; Flew home... and... Yeah! ^.^

For all who don't know... My parents are crazy christian, WTF-UNCLEEEEN people. They are nice folks, though... Soo... they didn't know about this little venture. Instead, they thought I was going to Chicago for the taste. They believed me, though, so I win in the end.
Day One: I got to Ohio, and the lost my bags.
Jevin and Yakitate picked me up. I worried over my bags for hours, till I finally passed out.Day Two: Bags got settled! Jevin, Yaki, and
Dag_arim all headed to Pittsburgh. We parked, and headed to the con, where we trolled around the Zoo. Lunch, then I got to wait in the Registration line for two hours... Yaaay... Then I started getting texts from bigDCstile saying that he was there, and we were to meet up at the Zoo.Now... by then, I hadn't gotten a chance to shower, brush my teeth, or change. I was getting con-funk, and was feeling nasty. Devon... is Devon. I didn't want to meet him while all funked up..., sooo... I ran away to the DoubleTree to change and take a shower.
Back at the Zoo, I knew exactly who I was looking for. Two huge black guys. By then, I knew I was meeting up with

This is me, jsut taking a moment to annoy all the people that let Valentines Day piss you off. :P What I have to say about that... is... why? Why let this onnne holiday annoy you? I used to hate this day to... But I decided, a while ago... that it was more of a day to celebrate loved ones... not just for couples... and I know that there are plennty of friends whom I love, dearly. You all know who you are... I probably have told you already... So, instead of getting upset on not having that ONE person... be happy that you have other people! In Real Life, Online, or otherwise!

Posted 16 years agoI made it to New York, safe and sound! Hopefully I will be on the messengers more, now. Going to the Culinary Institute of America in about 1 or 2 hours. So excited, really... 2 years I have been waiting for this... and I am finally at their doorstep. Even if I find out I was rejected... this is one of the most important times of my life!

Ok. So my pack and I were talking recently about some things that have been happening at the Prancing Skiltaire (PS) lately that we really don't enjoy and that there's really not much control over it anymore.
My biggest complaint is that my friends and I have been going to PS since about last June or July (I really can't remember...) and we still don't know who the hell lives in that house...which we'd kinda like to know since that's where all our complaints about some of the things going on there need to go.
Sure I could ask around, and see what people know, but another complaint about it is that no one else seems to know who lives there either. I shouldn't have to go on a manhunt just to break up vulgar behavior.
These are some of the things that we've been experiencing at PS that we'd like to stop: (by the way, keyomi complained about these things before on blog posts and live feeds, and they were claimed as rumors by others attending PS. Which I'd like to disspell that as TOTAL CRAP because these are things we have ALL been disgusted by AND witness to.)
Also please keep in mind that these actions are taking place at a party that has been labeled as "all ages", "no drinking allowed". (ie: family oriented & under-aged minors attend.)
-a few months back there was someone in the backyard that was being given a blow job in front of everybody (yes I was witness to this)
-most recent PS there was a girl with a questionable minor age with her shirt AND bra off in the backyard getting a back massage while there was a children's birthday party taking place in the neighbors backyard (WHICH HAS A LOW VISIBLE FENCE) (yes I was witness to this)
-most recent PS there was a four-way make-out session between a girl and 3 guys taking place at the art table outside. (yes I was witness to this)
-on a few occasions one of my friends has been sexually assaulted by a man who would go around and grab other men's crotches. (yes, I have been witness to this, AND YES THAT IS CONSIDERED SEXUAL ASSAULT. Look up the law.)
I'm sure there are a countless more things that either my friends or anyone reading this who attends PS could contribute to. Please feel free to do so.
Also please read in detail what I have written up. I have no issues with "cuddle sessions" or people getting back massages or showing appropriate public displays of affection. But the things I have listed are out-right vulgar, unnecessary, and quite frankly enough reasons to make me and MANY OTHERS stop attending PS. This is why my pack and I have proposed this:
Myself, :kayskah:, :maliceinfurryland:, :keyomi:, :hallet-phlox:, :darktakumi:, and :nanashi87:, have proposed that we try and start another furmeet of our own! Furvine!
Organization, crowd control, and easy access to whoever needs to make a complaint, or help will be available. Basically everything we dislike about PS will not be allowed!! It will be family oriented for all ages, and will be held in Irvine. The idea is that we hold ourselves in a good example of what furries are and help people diffuse the sterotype of furries being gross, beastiality, sex machines, and show them that we are about the art, the animals, and having fun. If this does not fit your description, or desire, YOU NEED NOT APPLY.
Details still need to be made. We will keep everyone posted as the idea unravels.
Please let me or anyone listed above know about any concerns, ideas, or complaints. And feel free to tell us what you like/dislike about PS so we know how to better run our get-together. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
The only detail that we know is going to be pretty solid at this point is that if all goes well, we will hold it every 3rd Saturday of every month.

Day After My Birthday Update, Yes, the promised one...
Posted 17 years agoOk... now for the update I promised a few people, and an informant update for those who don't.
#1: As many of you know... My family owns a pizza restaurant. Our business is fluctuating, and we have been in a pickle for quite some time now. The place isn't and hasn't been making any money, and we still aren't despite how much effort we are putting into it. The family has gotten together and talked about this, and we all agree that we have worked out asses wayyy to hard to just give it up... and that leads to my next thing...
#2: A few months ago, my father mailed 2 checks to 2 different businesses. Widmer(Mortgage Company), and CapitalOne(Credit Card). Now... he made the mistake of switching the checks! So the check for 200 dollars was sent to Widmer, while the 1,800 dollar house payment was sent to CapitalOne! No harm done, right? They were both made out to the wrong businesses, so they can't cash them... right? Well... wrong. Somehow... some way... both companies cashed checks illegaly. ((Trying to sue takes far too long, and wastes money.)) So... now we're late on our payment for the home... so the monthly cost goes up! Our rates shifted because we were late, I believe... not too sure. Annyways... because of that... a Domino Effect began.
We were unable to cover next months payment in full... because it now cost 2,400 dollars. Being late on that payment, drove it up to 2,800 dollars! Mind you, that in this time, Pizza Club still isn't making money, so my dad is working a second job. Finally... we hit the bottom... and filed for Bankruptcy. We have lost the house, and are being kicked out in December... Heh... Merry Christmas. They also seized some of my stock, because it was an asset to my parents... (Mom had her name on my account.)
In a way, this is good... The house is falling apart, literally, and we live 45 mins away from out own freaking business. I will hopefully get a bigger room. (10x12 sucks for a guy like me) We were able to live in the house for virtually free, meaning no house payments, for 4 months. Unfortunately... we still have no clue where we are going to go... ^.^;;
#3: Phone... getting a new one on Saturday...
#4: Culinary School is temporarily on hold. Family asked me to stay and help... I agreed to do so. January 29th I have an Opened House and Interview at the CIA in New York, and I'm praying that I /WOW/ them. ^.^;; I need to get my ass away from this hellhole... Bringing me to my next thing...
#5: Despite all this shit going around in my life, I am still smiling, laughing, and loving life. Yeah... it's fucking hard, but I still have the people I love around me. (Including all you peepz) The stress in my family... god... it's nearly palpable... One little thing can set someone off, and we yell for 2 hours straight, letting it all out... I'm the peacemaker, running around asking everyone to stop... XP Whenever something like that happens to me, I just bottle up the anger... Is that bad? Meh... I would rather have peace in the household than 4 pissed off family members... I dun wanna get shanked... I would make a good beefshank...
#6: Sorry to all my close friends, with whom I /didn't/ share all this with... I just didn't want to worry you guys. I'm /fine/. Promise. A little worried... and a bit scared... but fine. A bit excited... Now that I'm moving closer to all my friends... but it's all good.

You all know who you are when I say that I love you guys with all my heart. You rock, and have always been there for me. This place has grown from merely a place to hang out, to a major support group. I have met so many excellent friends. You guys have helped me in more ways than you know. I'm really sorry I'm not able to be around as much as I used to be for you... really, I am. To everyone else... The only times I can be solidly online is usually at night.
