the past 2 weeks have been one random reason for delay after the other - i kept thinking "okay this is the last delay and tomorrow i can get back to my schedule" but something else would happen

i also got REALLY upset about the back pain which was so bad for a few days i couldn't sleep. thankfully i realized it was due to me using my weed eater too much, so ill be able to catch up on sleep this weekend and draw without wincing next week👍

my laptop was out of commission for a couple days because my charger broke off in the port and i had to wait for a replacement And dig some pieces out

took a lot of finagling and there were a lot of failed attempts but i finally wiggled the bit out and my laptop is charging so i can finally let myself breathe

i was pretty fuckin stressed there for a while and just kind of dissociating through the days because the idea of having to wait for it to get fixed was making me feel ill

BUT its fixed and i will be back working tomorrow

so my laptop fell off my desk and hit the charging cable Just Wrong, which broke the charging it off into the port

ive put in an order for a new cable and some screwdrivers to try and pry this thing open, hopefully i can pull it out no issues, if not i have a warranty so im trying not to wig out Too Much

i have my old clunker of a laptop still, i do not know if i can work on this thing. both hardware and screens are a major downgrade

figured i'd give an update on how everything's going on here!

to sum it up in bullet points


cleaning up is still going very slowly, with areas i've cleaned getting re-cluttered due to items that need donating.
dealing with the roach infestation is a back and forth due to the clutter.
dealing with the flea infestation is a back and forth due to having to keep the kittens socialized in hopes theyll be adopted.
dealing with honey bee's flea allergy is obviously up and down - even claw caps she just rips off. im getting her cone from the other house and washing it / getting that on her today, as much as itll irritate scabs she already has thats probably better than what shes doing currently
old bills from the old apartment keep popping up and obviously i have new bills on top of that, so my commission queue has remained booked a month out.
i tired.

at the very least i am not dealing with constant anxiety attacks, theyre happening much less frequently, thank god.

but i am very ready to be out of this financial hole and to have the house where i need it to be and these kittens adopted out and these fleas and roaches fuckin gone.

gritting my teeth digging my nails into my palms posting this bc asking for (and receiving) so much help this year has me in a pit of guilt, but i can't avoid asking for help with this right now. as much as i would love to.

i went to the ER a couple nights ago with a heart rate of 165 because i couldnt stop working myself into a panic about having a heart attack like my dad. they gave me some anti-anxiety meds as a temporary solution, but i'm trying to portion them out bc they only gave me 15 and they make me extremely sleepy

despite knowing my heart is healthy i keep working myself up into panics about it and ive come to realize my constant nightmares are probably a result of years and years of pent-up mismanaged anxiety and weed overuse that are all coming to a head from just how bad this year's been on me.

my queue is currently behind due to scrambling to get to the funeral and being emotionally+physically worn out from that, as well as catching a moderate case of covid 2 weeks later that i'm still recovering from.

there's a clinic 3 miles away that i can comfortably walk through (there's a route through the park, so i can take my time, not get overwhelmed, and take breaks) and i have walgreens close to my house - it's just a matter of having the clinic costs and med costs upfront
