He is...he just works, and it's been amazing in so many aspects with him, from playing games, getting Nerf Wars started on campus, the whole nine yards, and much more.

[RETURN]Hell Week F2: SUCCESS!
General | Posted 18 years agoAlrighty, time for a full update on my current situation after the completion of Hell Week F2.
Family: Well, this wasn’t really an issue, I’m just glad my dad is back from Iraq. =^-^=
Status: Stable
Exams: I was truly stressing for the exams in this case, as they were what determined if I made a high enough GPA to keep my scholarship. But, push comes to shove, if you take all of your power and push at a wall, you just might break through, and I did!
Status: Office 2007: 95
Linux: 96
Operating Platforms: 89
CCNA 2: 94
GPA: 3.8
Cumulative GPA: 3.5-3.6
Scholarship Status: Perfect
Other: Well, this was rather interesting. Earlier this week, my roommates’ hard drive was stolen, and a police report was filed. Well, the time period that this incident “happened” was when I and a friend were in the opposite room. So, who gets blamed?
Yep, both of us.
He has his room searched, and then the officer goes on to ask about my story, and through a confusion of names, I get turned into a liar. Add that with the fact that I am nervous around authoritative figures to begin with, and you get a nervous catox that is shaking, twitching, and looks like a liar.
After he leaves, I break down, kick a fan, and try to calm down. To help, my friend says that “He interrogated very hard, I’m surprised you held up.” That helps a bit, but I gather my stuff, and bring it to my parents, explain the situation, and they want resolution. So, we get them to get the dorm supervisor to get the police, and I report to the room and explain the situation. They all get up, like an army, as we march down to the lobby. Even the RA follows, as they all know I didn’t steal it.
After a small discussion, and very calm, yet non-vulgar, verbal assault from my parents, it is determined that a search of the cars that contain my property would help the situation, as my dad explains he offered it to the police, “as a sign of trust”. Helps out too, as we walk out to the car, that the “liar” thing is explained, and is resolved as my dad notes, “It’s known to happen a lot, so I understand both points of view.” Another point for us as the cop agrees.
So, after a full search, only one item of suspicion, a Western Digital MyBook Premium ES 500GB drive, was found. I already knew my roommate’s drive was a Maxtor OneTouch 120GB drive, so this didn’t faze me. After sitting around and discussing my dad’s job and familiarity with such things as explained earlier, this puts the police at even more ease while greatly reducing the suspicion levels. With that in hand, the drive is shown to my roommate; he confirms that it is not his drive.
The situation is wrapped up, and we head home, exhausted, having beaten the odds of the grades, and beating the officers in a mental game, aided by my parents, and 10 very, very good friends.
Status: Thank you all.
Relationship: After the total communications breakdown recently, we made our amends, and came back with a furious passion. More talk, more action, more…
Status: Love.
And that's it. A successful competion of Hell Week, coming out of the blaze like a demon out of hell, with a halo on his head.
