Update-long overdue
Posted 10 years agoSo during RMFC, the question i was plagued with the most was "Wheres Oki Doki?"
For those of you who do not know-I have decided to sell the second version of my characters suit. he now belongs to Lagan Wolf in Germany, heres his page
Hes a veteran suiter and will give him a great home.
As to the reasons I decided to put Oki in the closet for a while is more complicated. First off Oki was the mascot for the Tornado alley womens roller derby team here in OKC. The team has changed venues and league affiliations so many times it was just impractical to remain on board. Our attendance suffered and so did my inspiration to perform. I know when to leave a party. It was a great run (6 years and two incarnations of the costume) and i would gladly do it all over again. So Oki really did not belong to me in a sense, he was part of tornado ally and all it was.
Being Oki all the time-at cons,promotions,GOH appearances,during panels,private parties,etc. was exhausting.
I love entertaining and performing don't get me wrong, the spotlight is where I belong and love to be. Just like any good TV show or Youtube channel-its always best to go out on top. So many characters I've watched over the years keep the same tiered routine untill it just becomes sad.
Oki Doki and his likeness are trademarked to me, I alone have the rights to him as my sole creation and intellectual property. Believe it or not, somebody did try and say "they were me". Yeah it happened. Just a troll and they quickly moved on, but that was the final sign. I knew it was time to embrace my other side.
Sabrejack of clan Shadowfall, my original idea for a fursona. the prey animal who chose to defend itself with extreme prejudice. Inspired by San Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo, he too is a Ronin Samurai.
Sabre is everything I inspire to become in life whereas Oki was simply me in Coyote form...and louder.
I have always embraced change, for if we do not change we do not grow. but fear not my friends, that coyote is within me still, he just needs a rest for a while.
Thank you all for the love and support, i will be forever grateful. I would ask that you contemplate this as I close...

Hotel was just stellar and huge~!!! Too many awesome peeps to even begin to mention meeting this year all up in here. Got to meet one of my idols in the fandom, the ever so modest
that was a definite highlight. Also hung at the Sushi bar w/ 
and his mate
my DJ got to sneak in a set
and finally got to hang with my evil counterpart 
what a hoot!!! 
and 
always glad to hang w/ those crazy kids!!!
Then there were the ever so fuzzy memories of our room parties...those I recall are
(who i was so surprised to see in Texas) 
and the hosts w/ the most 
and her awesome mate 
(who let me pick out the best liquor stash of all time!!!
Dance comp. was a definite thrill-even though I didnt place, I had so much fun navigating the slick dancefloor. Congrats to

Posted 12 years agoTake advantage of a great buy on a well loved costume!! And with just a few modifications you can make the "old huttser" your new canine suit. Change just a few things or nothing...but i think if you buy a suit you need to make it yours!!!

It just dawned on me that we are at just under a month till the lake afton campout here in kansas... O.O ..and so it might be a good idea for anyone who is interested in coming to get registered A.S.A.P.....which means now people. *blinks*
To sum it up, any furs who want to come out for a nice relaxing furry based campout with all your local fuzzlebutts and friends...LOTS OF FOOD...ART...DANCING...FOOD...CAMPFIRES...something called an "oki Doki"....MORE FOOD.....and just a plain good time.

I had no idea it would be so popular~I'm kinda blown away as this is my first real attempt at any type of commission work. i have made a total of 26 so far, and i got two more over the weekend. 80% of them have been shipped and recieved already, I pride myself on a speedy delivery.
So heres my next phase of this operation. i will be attending Wild Nights con at the end of this month.
