Well, my family and I are looking into the lap band procedure for me. That's where, there's basically a balloon inflated around your stomach itself, and then inflated, limiting the size to which your stomach can expand. It's a reversible procedure, and though not without its risks, is much preferred to staples/removal. If we can get this done, it will take about three years for me to get down to where my idea weight is, around 260 or so. I'm a large framed guy, and somewhat tall, so I'm not gonna be going for "skinny." I just wanna be able to go to someplace like Walmart and actually find something I can fit in.

I only have one health issue that can be directly related to my weight...sleep apnea. Nothing else, seriously. Normal Blood pressure, normal heart rate, blood sugar, cholesterol, etc. I'm in perfect health other than the apnea.

But hopefully, we'll be able to find some insurance that will cover the lap band, and an inexpensive doctor who can help me get down from the 460 I'm up to.

I was in the ER from around 4 this morning til 9. Kidney stones are nothing to play around with, and this was the worst one I've ever had. I spent the rest of the day drugged up and conked out. So all my writing is being put on hold for a little bit until I can get my medical issues resolved.

But some good news comes from it. I found out that I have officially passed 450 lbs! So yeah...that's one thing I never wanted to do, and I'm going to start trying to lose weight. No way in hell am I getting to a quarter ton.

First come, first served! I will be doing 3, absolutely free gift stories. Since my drawing skills rank somewhere around 1st grader....with flippers for hands, I instead write for my artistic outlet. I am trying to get my name more out there, so that I could start doing some commissions as well, but first, I'd like to do something for all the people who are already watching me. So, I've worked out a deal that should get me a new computer very soon. That means that I will be writing more, able to RP, cam, etc. I plan on wrecking out a good few shorts as soon as I can get my comp back up and running. Well, like many of us I'm sure, I watched last night's episode of House, MD. And when the big reveal of Kutner's suicide happened, I jumped up, screaming "WHAT!?" I was pissed. I hadn't been keeping up with Kal Penn's life, and so I had no idea why my favorite character had suddenly been killed off. But, all great things must come to an end, and at least in this case, it's for an amazing reason.

Kal Penn is going to be working in the White House with the Obama administration, and left the show to pursue that further. He has been personally offered position as "associate director in the White House Office of Public Liaison." I have absolutely no idea what that means, specifically, though "public liaison" suggests that he will remain very much in the public eye. Kal worked very hard during the President's campaign, and his efforts were not overlooked evidently.

I will greatly miss the character Lawrence Kutner, he brought a levity to the team that, frankly none of the other characters have. Early in the series, Wilson and House themselves brought much of the levity, but since the Amber arc, Wilson's been more mopey, and now with House's increasing medical issues, there will likely not be much from him. The current season seems like it will end with a lot of heavy drama, and less like a "Sherlock Holmes starring in 'Scrubs'" that the earlier series seemed to have. I still love the series, mind you, but it's gonna feel like it's missing something big.

I am currently writing what could be considered a "Planet Earth" style documentary for the trio of planets in the Osiris System for the Valkyrie Chronicles storyline that Toninjinka and I have been working on. This will give a little history to the Osiris System, which is where the United Planetary Alliance was formed. The universe is inspired heavily by Starship Troopers. Taking some elements as well from other Science Fiction franchises. The documentary is already underway, and will be posted up as I finish them. I hope everyone enjoys them once they're up, and also hope that I will be able to continue writing and furthering the storyline.
