Minor Project of Mine in the Works
General | Posted 8 years agoGreetings everyone! I'm just letting you all know that I'm working on a four part series of drawings of a sexual nature and this will take a few days to do, so that's why not much might be posted for a bit, as I'm working on that and not planing to reveal more than I have to regarding that in regards for it being made for my upcoming Patreon page that I plan to launch next year. Just giving you all a heads up to that.
EDIT: Never mind. Apparently I can only draw the same character so much, before I feel the need to draw other ones I have. The project is still in the works, it's just been put aside for the moment while I draw other stuff.

Democracy Defended (I Voted)
General | Posted 9 years agoToday, as a citizen of the United States of America, I honored my responsibility and voted at the polls. Whatever the final results may be, I at the very least turned out to sound my voice in civic matters and at least in that regard, helped defend democracy from it's nemesis, voter apathy. This has been a grueling election year, but whatever the results, I did not contribute to making the problem worse.
A Nice, but Failed Experiment (College Related)
General | Posted 9 years agoWell, this semester I tried to do a full week of college and learn a foreign language, but it proved to be too much of a work load to do, so I dropped said class and am concentrating on my one math class instead. Anyways, now that I've probably greatly reduced the amount of stress in my life, hopefully I can get back to drawing more, more often. Time will tell. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know why I've not been very active lately, but hopefully now I can be more engaged online. In the meantime, take care, good health and great fortune.
It Finally Happened (Pokemon Related)
General | Posted 9 years agoAs of yesterday, I finally drank the Pokémon Kool-Aid and am now a Pokémon nerd. I don't know what the gateway drug was for this, it was either Godzilla, because that's also Japanese, or it might have been the Furry Fandom; by all means, it could have been both. Regardless, I now believe that when I was a kid, that I had made a mistake by getting into Magic: the Gathering instead of Pokémon, because I think I found a game that I can really get into and enjoy. Anyways, in regards to anyone who is watching me, if any of you are into Pokémon and have the time to chat, let me know, because I want to get caught up regarding missing out on about twenty years of nerd culture.
Jinx Syndrome
General | Posted 9 years agoIf there's one thing that I've noticed about my writing projects by now, the surest way to fail at them, is to mention that I'm planning to do them, or am actively working on them. Almost every time without fail, whenever I mention a project to someone, for one reason or another, it fizzles out and never gets done. In that regard, I think the best thing to do is simply finish the project first, then tell people about it, otherwise, I don't think that I'm ever going to finish them. It like when I mention something that I really want to talk about regarding an idea of mine, that somehow puts a jinx on it and it never gets done. In that regard, going forward, if there a long period of time between literary submissions on my site here, but I'm otherwise still active, such as adding things to favorites, it more likely than not means that I'm working on something important to me. Anyways, just letting you all know this incase there's a long period of time where I don't submit anything new regarding written stuff.
Oddly enough, this does not seem to always happen with drawing things. That seems to follow a different set of "rules," based on experiences in the past with my drawings. Odd how that works sometimes.

Depression (please read)
General | Posted 9 years agoFor as long as I can remember, I've been struggling with very bad depression. Some periods of time are worse than others and currently I seem to be in a worse than others mood. I don't seem to derive joy from the things that I used to enjoy doing, it's a struggle to be creative, an even bigger struggle to finish things and it takes a great deal of strength just to get out of bed in the mornings. Making things worse it that I'm currently cat sitting, so I have no choice but to get out and do things, which seems to be making a bad problem worse, considering I know for a fact that people are enjoying themselves while they know that I am suffering (I have voiced this to them, this did not change their decision to go on vacation or use a kennel instead). Simply put, I really don't know what to do now, other than just try to ride this funk out, but even then, that's far easier said than done. If any of you guys have suggestions for anything that can help, I'm open to hearing them.
What a strange journey this has all been
General | Posted 9 years agoWell, between the site being hacked, vandalized, taken down, prematurely restored, then taken down again within the span of a week, I have to say FA has really been testing my patience lately, but until it's competitors can actually compete against it, I guess I'm stuck here for now. Still, I really do hope one of those other sites can eventually be a real alternative to this one here, because I'm certainly disenfranchised here.
My Dice Are Trying To Kill Me (Or Rather, My Characters)
General | Posted 9 years agoToday I just rolled four ones in a roll on a six sided dice. I have now confirmed that I have dice antipathy and that the set that I am currently using has it out for me. Looks like I'm setting aside this set and trying my luck with a different batch, but something tells me that this problem wasn't unique to those particular dice. Such is the life of a table top gamer, always at the mercy of cold, petty, soulless pieces of plastic with a vindictive streak a mile wide. On the plus side though, now I have some apparently cursed dice that I can make someone use if I'm ever a game master and they get on my bad side. Got to find the silver lining to these things and make lemonade out of lemons.
