Okay, so I always feel a bit bad when someone spends money on me, for gifts and such, but more then a few people have told me to hush and let them spend their money on me, cause they like me for some fool reason.
So in answer to what has been a common question over the last week or so, with both Christmas and then my birthday yesterday, I would like either DLCs for games I already have or if you are unsure which DLCs that is, just Steam gift card would be fine. I have a TON of games I have not beat yet, and frankly to many I have not even played yet. So if you feel you need to blow money on me, there ya go.

So it seems over time a few bits of art have been lost in my collection, never making it to the light of day. Today I am fixing that. Along with a new piece I will be adding the three lost pieces to my gallery.

So, I have to do something, ask someone a question, and the outcome, either good or bad, terrifies me.
If it is yes, I still have to leave the city I have lived in for 23 years, with nothing but the few bags I can take on a plane.
And if no . . . Goddess, I do not know what will happen to me.
The last time I was in at a point like this, I spent the next year so depressed and broken I was not sure I would ever be able to move on, or that I wanted to.
Every time I sit still I start shaking, and my mind keeps coming up with things to be worried about.
And this on top of my first holiday season since I lost the last of my close family.

Posted 12 years agoOkay girls and boys, you know I do not ask much, but a good person is suffering after a bad event, that is more then enough to get me to try and help her out.
So the fabulous SpazzyKoneko had an awful bit of bad luck, she had her laptop and tablet stolen! So a few of her friends have decided to try and get help from the community to get her the funds to get a new laptop and tablet. I just hope that my small effort can help her on her way to being back to making the art she is so amazing at.
Now, on top of just asking for help, the ever adorable Fyxe has offered a bit of incentive, promising to draw a fairly risque pic if there is enough help given to Spazzy.

Looks like I will be with out internet for a while starting tomorrow. Not sure how long I will be offline, likely for most of a week at least. But the power here will get shut off soon too, once that happens I will have to move back to my ex's for a while. After that . . . I just do not know, but there is no way I will be able to stay at my ex's for long. I know right where I am, and am all the more lost for the knowledge.

Many of you wished me a "Happy Mother's Day" last Sunday, and I did not respond to any of you, and have not really chatted much at all for days. If you feel I was unkind/rude/mean I am sorry, I know you were trying to be kind, but it back-fired more then a bit.

First and foremost I must warn you, there will be a lot of whining involved in this, you have been warned.
Alright, I know that many of you have noticed and commented that I have not been very chatty, active, or in a chipper mood in general. Some few of you I have talked to about it already, and the really observant of you my have noticed how I changed my personal info here and on other sites I frequent. To lay it out on the table, so to speak, my Mate, after about 15 years, broke up with me a couple months ago. She gave our bed away, and gave our . . . her younger daughter our room (she had been living elsewhere), she stared sleeping on the couch and I started sleeping on the floor in front of my desk.
Needless to say this has made me a bit upset, to most people this would be devastating, for someone who struggles with depression this is nearly crippling. I am not trying to ignore those of you that feel I am doing so; I just can not find the drive to chat most of the time. I find myself loosing myself in either work (helping a friend, I have not actually worked in nearly 12 years) or video games.
I have been staying with a very long time friend for the bulk of the last two months, after he heard I was sleeping on the floor he graciously offered me his couch. But now he is moving, in with his family, and I find that I must return to my ex-Mate’s house (it REALLY does not feel like home any more) and I am completely unsure what will happen from now on. I once saw my future always involving her, but she has decided that she would rather lie to me and break my trust, and my heart. She has been growing cold and callous over the last few years, I just never dreamed it would get so bad. I am not sure the woman I Love even exists any more. Just sitting here thinking about going back to her house is making my stomach do flips.
I should be able to get online, though on my laptop mostly, but I am not sure how long even that will last. I will have to try to get back on disability, though with all the new crap surrounding that here in the U.S., who knows. I am also going to start going through my belongings and seeing about selling some of it, there are of course things I can not stand to part with, but with no idea of where to go or what to do I will need less stuff, and more money. If all else fails here, with no family left in the area, and only a few friends I can truly rely on, I may just go for a walk, south I think, towards my childhood home and friends, but I just do not know and that is nearly the worst part.

Posted 14 years agoWow, only been up for a little bit and yet have already gotten my first present, from Wryter, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/711...../#cid:50812561 and about a dozen "Happy Birthday"s.
Unfortunately, I also had a horrible moment already. I started to look for my Mama's number to call her as I always do on my birthday to thank her and tell her I Love her. That euphoria lasted for about 30 seconds before I remembered she is gone, and started crying.
So, all in all, a birthday full of ups and downs, and I am only an hour in to it.

Flirting, monogamy, polyamory, etc . . .
Posted 14 years agoSo it has recently been an issue in my real life, and tonight it came up on the KatBox web comics forums so I decided to write this to share my very strong feelings on the subject.

Monogamy has never really made sense to me. Life is hard enough without denying ourselves the enjoyment of the company of those we Love/feel for/desire. Would you rather a closed relationship where you will always wonder, what could have been, or an open one where you can find out and then go home to your Lover/Mate/S.O.? I would much rather Tygra (my Mate) indulge, and then come home to me, then to have it bother her of what could have been. I have heard of such being the death of relationships, wanting to try new things, with new people. Why not just do so, and be happy?
As a born flirt (my Mom has always said I have been so since I was very little) I may be biased on the flirting part. But why not, it is fun, normally for both parties, and if it leads to more, so be it. I have a few friends I have had for years that I met due to my flirtatious nature. Some I have been intimate with, some not.
Some say of this it is nothing more then selfish "If it feels good, do it!", but that is not the way I see it, or the way I pursue it, it is not just about having fun for me, it is about the connections made and that we both have fun. If the other party is in a closed relationship there is no reason to not be flirty still, unless the other half of the relationship is to insecure to handle it.
The heart of an open relationship, or even just an open personality, is confidence in yourself! That is why many people are attracted to flirty people, confidence is sexy! Now I do not condone, nor like, people that have an overblown/big-headed self image, there is a difference between self confidence and being full of yourself, a HUGE one. But if you are comfortable with yourself, trust your Lover/Mate/S.O., and have confidence in your relationship (a very important list of things many lack) then an open relationship is easy. Unfortunately many are missing one or more of those three, if not all three, and even worse is the fact that many people are wracked with greed/avarice/jealousy and so can not allow their Lover/Mate/S.O. to even get close with others.
Now I have seen severe cases, where the jealous member of the relationship can not even stand to see their Lover/Mate/S.O. have friends! But this is few and far between thankfully, I have only run into four people like that, and I warned their Lover/Mate/S.O. to leave them. These kind of people are very prone to domestic violence. For most it is just a much lesser feeling, and they do not like to have their Lover/Mate/S.O. flirting or getting to close to others (normally of the jealous person's own gender), but that is still sad to me.

In closing: Love is not a chain that binds someone to you, it is a web that you weave between yourself and others, as many as you can, Love should be shared, not held prisoner!
