Quick Update! Commission Statuses PLEASE post here!
Posted 9 years agoI am taking all of next week off of work for some vacation fun time!
I will be using this time to finish up all of my outstanding commissions and mail them out :)
if you have a PAID commission and have not heard back from me in a while PLEASE post on this journal!
I want to make sure my list of "to do" has everyone on it, I have it written on paper and I am tired so not typing this all out tonight.
I know for sure redfox, bluesierryu and someone else from here is on it... bah.

I am going to try to put out a few higher quality pieces a week give or take. I must say I absolutely love my iPad, it has made art a dream <3

TFF, AnthroCon and Other Fun Stuff!
Posted 9 years agoFirst off let me say thank you everyone who has commissioned me, will commission me, or is waiting on a commission from me, you guys rock! I know I am very slow at times to get things done, it is a weird mental hang up that likely has a lot to do with my art ADD and inability to focus on just one craft. Either way, thank you for your patience! I try to throw free things at you lovely people when I can.
Now for the fun stuff!
Texas Furry Fiesta
This con was amazing! I randomly decided to try to see if anyone would be interested in my paintings, and oh wow you guys sure were! 4 out of 5 paintings were sold, and the 5th was sold 30 minutes after being brought to the table sunday. Never have I felt so loved, I wish I could find the people who won the Corgi Funtime and Purple Dragon paintings so I could hug you guys! This year I finally was able to suit more, and I must say I love my new full suit so much. I ran around mostly with Drift, Mello, Desi and Schecter when I wasn't tied to the Aritst Alley, and oh man there was much fun and liquor to be had. Looking forward to next year, though I am not sure if I am going to aim for dealers den or artist alley, artist alley is nice because then I can fart around all night doing commissions at the table, but dealers den means not having to resetup every day and possibly not getting a table. Hmm! Will have to think on this, but I am leaning on trying to get a dealers table *borkborkbork* For the art show next year I am planning on some nice and some naughty sculptures, and hopefully another set of paintings, so 3 panels? Is that even allowed :o We shall see! The only reason I am even thinking about doing naughty sculpts is because the art show director (at least I think he was, I have been wrong before!) said that someone had signed up to do it before in the 18+ area but never showed up..so.. Well I'm alwasy happy to try new things, and I defineately have not done that before. I will likely sketch it all out first to kinda plan what I want to do. I will say that I am in love with the mad scientist theme, as I am always making my scientist man mad, so expect more glow in the dark funtime stuff. NOW IS THE TIME TO PUT IN REQUEST FOR SPECIES YOU DIDNT SEE! Yes I know I only had fox, bear, and deer so I will work on getting more out there. Like I told many of you I have quite a few sketched just need to ink and color them.
AnthroCon
Just booked my room, will be taking my mom who is very excited to go hang out with all the furries. Hah! I love my mom :) She only lives an hour away from anthrocon, I had originally planned on just staying at her house and driving back and forth but all the parties at TFF reminded me I don't want to drive home at 4am drunk. Dont wanna die dont wanna kill no one and I love my truckbeast. We will be staying at the Marriot 5 blocks from the convention center, anyone else going there? Would love to hear from all my friends that are going to anthrocon!
San Japan
Ugh dont even want to think about San Japan just yet. SO much to do! But we will be camping on the riverwalk, and yes I did say camping :) Tiffany got a fancy canned ham trailer and we booked a camping spot. Gonna just walk from the trailer to the con. Weee! I hope to wear Thorgi there as well.

I'm breaking under the stress and the weight of bills right now but I am getting things done as fast as I can.

I am offering a couple spots for "naughty" sculpts, commission fee must be paid upfront. As this is a "special" it is open to offers, but please no sub 30 offers. The higher the offer the more the details/coloring I will add in. You do not have to put what you want here, just post your offer and say content is in note and note me.
This is to increase my gallery, and as an example busts will be starting at 60$ to give you a feeling for where the pricing will be at once this deal ends ;)
Sculptures can take anywhere from one day to a month depending on complexity.

Posted 10 years agoSince I lost track of this I will be switching it to digital and doing 2-3. Sorry guys! Work has been so busy lately I have had little to no time to get any commissions done.

Posted 10 years agoAlamo City Comic Con was fun but I was so busy finishing up the Dingo head that I didn't get to make stock!
Of course all my bright and shiny tails went right away and left me twiddling my thumbs. Lesson learned, make more stock you goofy person! :)
In other news, every thing is pretty much ok, times are tough for a lot of people, and I feel blessed to be out of the red, and if that continues for a long time, I would not be displeased.
Being a part-time artist and a full time workslave means no sleep ever again. Oh well!
Back to drawing! Still need to get out some sketches and commissions to my wonderful commissoners.. Love you guise. Will be opening commissions again soon once the Tangerine Wolf Lion is done :)
