If you want to say something, ask something or keep in touch, I made a twitter account. A bit more personal than posting a drawing once in a billion years.
Don't think there'll be any more drawings on there than in here since I'm inactive as all hell. Periodical drawings maybe. No promises.
But I'll try and share some stuff I guess, mainly of people I follow. https://twitter.com/OneObese
As for things in general. Still alive. Practicing, trying to improve my stuff. Work's good and all that jazz.
Hope you'll have a pleasant new year.

Update 2
General | Posted 8 years agoIt seems I've forgotten to make a continuation of my last journal so here's one to keep people informed.
TL;DR on the last one: 24/7 busy on uni stuff and work. Need to get new things. Trying to get my shit together.
Now, I got ill during early january and it's been a thing for quite some time. Luckily I could work from home. It's still a bit hazy on what the actual problem is/was. Can do stuff pretty much normally now though.
Nevertheless, my thesis is pushed back quite a bit. I'm doing a bit of back-and-forth with the school and balancing things out still while recovering. Maybe I'll get my thesis done by the end of the year.
On a more positive note: I'm starting to set up my new workstation finally, so I can get up to some new shenanigans in the next few months. Been a while since I last streamed, for example.
Also trying out plenty of new tricks to streamline my workflow. Getting the hang of coloring and proper linework is a pain as usual, but I guess I'm finally finding my style and techniques to use for the lewd stuff bit by bit.

Update
General | Posted 9 years agoThings are stabilizing, so I've got some stuff to get during january once I've worked some stuff out of the way.
Once acquired, I can actually start focusing on my thesis and hopefully get that out of the way by summer.
Once that is done, I'll actually have some free time instead of just being fully booked 24/7.
Right now it's a bit of a hassle to balance university studies, a full time job and personal time.
Either way, hopefully the holidays will treat you well and the beginning of a new year starts off smoothly!

General | Posted 9 years agoOh my, broke that number.
Thanks everyone! I am greeted by so many messages whenever I check FA. It's crazy.
I'll update you folks about my status.
As of now I have returned back to my home country. I'm continuing my studies, and I got employed. Steps to the right direction!
Got me a nice apartment as well. About the same price as the one I was at about a year back, but better in most ways.
Now, there's a few things I need, and one in particular before I can doodle some more actively: A proper workstation.
Hopefully once I get that set up I'll be able to get back to some lewd 2D work. Still kind of looking at options while I have this temporary solution that really doesn't allow cooperation between a tablet and a laptop right now.

Words or something
General | Posted 10 years agoWell, education is rolling forward bit by bit, doing this and that. I am still alive somewhat.
" Note, I may be streaming and doing commissions during the winter holiday! note again: May be. Need to get my hands on some software licenses. "
Those were the words on an image description two months back.
The above statement is still something I need to consider, since I will definitely have to do some work on my school project throughout the next few weeks (the aforementioned winter holiday). I do want my hands on some software licenses (educational licenses at most, considering my financial situation) so I really want to do some stream commissions if at all able. I'll probably need to scrap the queue I set up and rework my rates too... Jeez.
In case that all goes past and I end up not working that out, I want to already wish everyone a Scary Solstice, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hiatus update
General | Posted 10 years agoThe first step of my abroad studies is done. Finally back in Europe. Second step is a go! It's a full year of being away from home.
I don't know how busy I will be after the first week or so, but I'll probably get to posting something once I have time and get used to my new laptop.
Thanks to everyone for all the messages while I was gone for the three months!

General | Posted 10 years agoHey there folks, just letting you know that I'm going to stream over at picarto next week.
Not sure of the details yet, but I'll make another journal once the time has been set. It'll be near the weekend. Probably friday.
It will most likely be a multi-stream as well.

Arrival
General | Posted 11 years agoI am now in my new apartment. Feels nice thus far, although I still need to unbox some stuff and clean the place up before I can make proper assumptions.
A litte less than a week before school starts. Phooey, plenty of stress to go around.

Making note of a few things
General | Posted 11 years agoA bit of info regarding what's been happening as of late.
This year I applied to an University of Applied Sciences. And got accepted.
So in the next month or so I will move to that area, about 500km / 310mi north.
Lots of paperwork to deal with at this point, and I don't know how long I'll be absent, since I also have to get myself oriented to my new life there.
Perhaps I'll update this and that to this journal if I feel there's something that needs clarification during the time of these few months.
EDIT: Housing has been confirmed, so at least I won't start off homeless. More information to come.
EDIT: Around the 15th-18th day I'll be out of this lodging, and off to my own. Electricity, water, rent and such have been set, so at least I won't die of dehydration, undercooked food or technology deprivation. It's down to deciding what I will bring there with me and packing it, aside a few minor things, including a bit of fighting with my ISP as well as getting a new one in my new adress. It might be that I'll have to cut some expenses for the duration of the first month. Then again living on plain bread and water and some gamble isn't that new to me. The most important thing is I'm going forward. For better or for worse, that is something yet to see. Signs do indicate the former though.
EDIT: Because of some issues, the move date has been changed to thursday the 21st. This'll leave me one week to set up everything and get to know the town before classes start. In addition, that means I'll have to pay an unnecessary week of rent and electricity due to the contracts I've set up. Not exactly as planned, but things can't always go perfect.

Cheap Commission Sale
General | Posted 12 years agoMy good friend sageofhades is having some tablet issues, so he's trying to raise some money for a new one by setting up sketch commissions.
Follow this link and please consider if you like his stuff:
RIGHT HERE
He will try anything when it comes to subject matter, so don't be shy to throw him a note if there's a sketch you need drawn.

Test Results
General | Posted 12 years agoToday my arm's neural workings were examined, and it turns out that luckily, there is no nerve damage. This can mean one of a few things. Well, obviously my ulnar nerve wasn't, or at least is no longer pinched. Either the nerve got back in it's place when I twisted my arm; or it was just damaged due to stress and overworking it; or the damage is somewhere else, about which I will be discussing with a doctor and/or surgeon.
If it was that the nerve is back in place, the continuous pain and numbness could be simply aftershock and it's simply healing up bit by bit. If the whole thing was about stress and overworking my arm, the pain and numbness could be something similar to a nocebo effect: The first doctors were certain it is something that "requires surgery," so could be I was convinced on a subconscious level about it, and thus it kept being painful and numb. The reverse of a placebo. These ideas might be void and I could have damage elsewhere.
Either way, it's good to know that the nerves are fine.

A thing was drawn since I requested it
General | Posted 12 years agoLook at it: Look here. LOOK!
Give some support to my friend here if you like her style. She's starting out over at FA.
In addition, a quick note about my arm, an odd development. A while ago I twisted it by accident in a rather painful manner. No real change, except I have some slight motorics back to my 'absent' fingers. Although the numbness is constant and pain is as frequent as it was before, it's still a relief to know the nerve was not and still is not destroyed. Just thought I'd make a note of that.

Update regarding health Pt.3
General | Posted 12 years agoI got some confirming mail today, the exact date to my first inspection will be November 20th, and I will be on the surgery table on January 13th.
These can change both ways, however. Both the inspection and surgery can possibly be sooner, if people have cancellations. Likewise, the surgery at least could be later if I have to cancel that time due to obstructing illness. We'll see how this goes.

Update regarding health Pt.2
General | Posted 12 years agoIt would seem that the earliest time for the proper inspection of my arm would be somewhere around November due to the long queues.
So according to current estimate I won't be drawing, at least properly, untill next year. Unless there are a lot of cancellations or I actually critically damage my arm somehow and thus get to surgery without delay.
I'll try and see if they change it's priority if I call a few times a week telling about the pain and the fact my work efficiency has suffered quite a bit. Not to mention this will void most of my job applications for now. In short, I'm forced to dwell in this financial ditch for a bit.
Incredibly sorry towards those waiting for commission slots. Patience. Patience. That's what I'll have to keep telling myself as well.

Update regarding health
General | Posted 12 years agoMy doctor has confirmed it is in fact my ulnar nerve that is doing this hand mischief, and there really is only one solution to fix it.
I don't know when, but I will go to surgery for it at some point. Might be a few weeks, might be a few months. Should be getting a message about it in a few weeks time. I will keep you folks updated on that.

Stressed
General | Posted 12 years agoAs a note especially for those thinking of asking about commissions: I will be closing them for a while.
I'll do those that have been queued, but after those I will have a break for an X amount of days/weeks.
I have suddenly developed symptoms on my drawing hand that are pointing towards CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and it's stressing me out. Couldn't happen at a worse time, really. I will need a bit of time to relax and orientate myself and see, if it's actually there or if I'm just imagining it.
As a brighter note: I would like to say a big all capital bold underlined THANK YOU to those who have taken intrest in my work enough to actually pay for it. The generousity has been absolutely shocking, in a good way. I've got myself a good emergency backup in case some sort of financial disaster occurs. I really appreciate the help.
Again: THANK YOU

Opening Sketch Commissions
General | Posted 12 years agoLong story short, I'm going to be in a bit of a financial slump soon.
I'll be doing sketch commissions at the following prices:
Bust - $7 - Example
Half body - $11
Full body - $20 - Example
+$8 for each additional character, up to a total of three (3) characters per image.
Busts = Single character only.
Send me a note if you're intrested. Payments will be done via PayPal, and I will require your PayPal address once the commission is confirmed.
Upon confirmation, I will send a bill for 50% of the commission's price. Once this has been paid, I will start working on the image(s).
I will send a note and a bill of the remaining 50% of the price upon completion of the commission, and once it has been paid I will send the image(s) to that same address.
I'll open up a batch of 5 commission slots at a time, as well as keep a queue open. Multiple image commissions will take up multiple slots.
I will notify those in queue once a commission slot opens up.
Everything's negotiable and I will answer any questions you might have. Send me a note or comment in this journal.
NOTE: Commission slots are displayed on the top of my profile page, next to my icon. Comment in this journal if you would like to be added to the queue if slots are full.

- If I am unable to complete a paid commission, a refund will be supplied.
- I reserve all rights for commissioned work unless stated otherwise.
- I may post commissioned work in a gallery unless requested otherwise.

What on earth happened?
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, just got home, opened my computer and decided to check in on here. And I was greeted by This in the top right corner. The oldest messages being from 15 hours ago.
What event last night caused to spawn such a sudden outburst of clicks and views?
What ever it was, thank you all for the watches and favorites. I'm not sure how that happened and if I deserve it, but thank you very much!

Now, to get on some things I have on my to-do-list.

Thank you everyone!
Now, I was thinking, I could maybe stream every now and then.
After finding join.me, which is much less of a hassle than livestream for example, I could easilly do so.
Anyone intrested?
