Posted 5 months agoFirst came across furries when I was thirteen, back in 2009. I only looked at pr0n on e621 and Eka’s Portal and never actually talked to anyone. Finally took the plunge and made a FurAffinity account ten goddamn years ago.
Since then I’ve made multiple fursonas, had a supremely shitty convention experience, found the love of my life,
mimdtehbear , and recently came out as transfeminine.

Name Change
Posted 6 months agoNobody follows me or likes my art, but since everyone has made a journal about updating names, I’m also doing that.
I’ve signed my furry art as Pachydoodles since 2022, and now I can cover up my nonsense username from ten years ago.
All I can say is, I’ve been worse. At least this year, I’ve managed to finish one drawing per month so far. That’s something.
I hope you’re all having a not thoroughly awful year so far. I know better, but I’m just hoping.

Just browsing art on this website has helped me feel more at home in my own head and when developing a fursona. I've met so many strange folks: good, bad, boisterous, and withdrawn. I've become more confident, fallen in love and fallen out of it. This site has its flaws but I'll remember it fondly solely for how formative it has been.
I know I don't have much of a following here, and this site is a little deserted, but thank you all for being who you are.
