Hi to people that watch me (for whatever reason it's not like I even post anything .-.). Just an update on how things are going since it's been a while. Mostly for people who don't have a way to communicate with me elsewhere.

I've since moved... several times from last time I posted. I still don't do much other than just sorta chill around, and work is now eating into what social time I would have mostly by making me tired way earlier than I'd like, but I'm still around. Things have been up and down but I'm doing my best to hang in there as always. It's hard to keep up with everything nowadays and oftentimes I just sorta sit on my own doing... whatever, until either it's time for sleep or I'm poked to do something.

Regardless I hope people have been doing well given, well... everything. |3 I likely still won't be posting anything but thanks for caring enough to read.

Lately I've been sick, as most people who still message me already know. Though unless you actually pay attention to my patterns, it may come as a surprise that I seem to get extremely depressed when I get sick as well, and when I get depressed I start to... well, over-think.

What do I over-think about? A lot of things, and all of them seem to drive me deeper into depression. One reoccurring topic that comes up when I'm like this is the meaning of life. How we got here, why are we here, etc etc. Strange, I know, but... it's how my mind works.

There's... other things I think about, that I feel I probably shouldn't go into (no it's not about hurting myself, since even though I get depressed I would never do anything so stupid), but... it still bothers me that I even think these things. When I finally realize what's going on, I get pissed off at myself for thinking that way and make myself even more depressed. It's... a vicious cycle that pretty much only ends when I wake up in the morning... and even then that's only sometimes.

The biggest thing is that even though I try to be friendly and care about all my friends, well... it seems that deep down I'm just a selfish, petty chu filled with jealousy.

I know a lot of you say that's just silly, but... I dunno, I can't describe these feelings any other way.

Anyway, I just felt I had to put this out there... not expecting anyone to really read it, to be honest. Though in case people really do care, but just don't want to read all my crap...


tl;dr : I hate how often I feel jealous and selfish, and how easy my mood can change.

So, apparently the problem was nowhere near as serious as I thought. Turns out the backup router we had had different settings, so... once those were cleared I was able to connect back to the internet.

Things are almost back to normal now. The main router (which had fried due to Cox's dumbass tech support) was just reset to factory default as well and thankfully got salvaged, so once the settings for that are back to the way we had them, everything will be as it was... several headaches later however. |3

Whatever though, I'm thankful we have internet now since... well I was going crazy without it. Can't imagine what things would be like if this lasted as long as I thought it would.

So, I've decided to stop being lazy and go around faving stuff. x3

I've worked on a couple... massive, galleries to tackle today, but it's not the end. Just taking a break 'cause I've got a lot of favs to make. x3

If I haven't already told you, which... seems almost impossible by this point, I didn't get the job. So the job hunt resumes.


In lighter news, been playing tons of Spiral Knights again, after competing in the Autumn Friendly and getting destroyed by the same 15-20 Pokemon everyone's using... god, it's like these people LIVE at Smogon or something.

Also ended up getting Kirby: Return To Dreamland and started playing that with my brother. It's really fun, as expected. x3 Pretty easy except for the challenge stages on the side, which, of course, are challenging if you try to get gold ranking on them.

I competed in a Melty Blood tournament this past Saturday, which had been organized to try and get people hyped up for the PC release of Current Code. Ended up taking second place, losing only to one of my and my brother's friends, who is the best in our whole group. I was a bit surprised when he told me I really improved from the last time, considering it's been such a long time since either of us has played the game seriously.

I was doing a bit poorly in practice, but once the tournament had actually started, it was as if I'd never stopped playing the game at all. Everything just came rushing back to memory and... I gotta say it was a bit disappointing honestly. I mean, competing was fun, but aside from that one friend who beat me, both to put me into the loser's bracket from winner's finals and again in grand finals, I didn't really get much of a challenge.

I'm hoping this will spur the community on to practice and play more though, instead of just crushing their hopes of being good enough to compete. It would be nice to see the community expand and grow, and become tougher competitors as well.

Aand... I think that's about it. Oh, my brother started playing the new Rune Factory on Wii. I'm liking what I see, though he already found out a huge exploit to earn money incredibly easy. It's just... time consuming. x3

So, been a little while since I posted a new journal, and this one has some (maybe) big news.

Last Thursday I applied to a Target Greatland that's pretty much right down the street from where I live. I was called in for an interview today and, well, I -think- I did fine. They told me to expect a call from HR within a week. So, I'm a bit excited since I think I might just get the job.

Of course, being that it'd be my first job, I'm incredibly nervous on whether or not I'll do well and such. I'm probably worrying about nothing, but... nyaa...

And for the sad part of this journal's title... Well...

If I do get the job, the schedule I'm expecting to get... well it's going to pretty much keep me from all of my friends for pretty much the entire day on the days that I'll end up working... Those of you who I've pestered lately should know that I'm already pretty down about the little time I get to spend with all of you already because of your own busy schedules and stuff.

All in all I'm starting to wonder if even if I do get the job, if I'll last at all without getting depressed...

So, after taking my GED test yesterday... I was given a paper with information regarding how I can get a quicker check on my results, that way I won't have to sit for weeks stressing if I passed or not. A few minutes ago, I decided to see if the results were posted already. Turns out they were, which from what the test instructor was saying, is pretty ridiculous since the usual time it takes is like 5 days because they have to read through the essay portion and all that. Guess they just burned through reading all of it. *Shrugs*

But those of you (who I haven't told yet) are probably dying to hear what I got... okay, yeah, probably not. Maybe curious, or maybe wondering why you're even still reading on. |3

Anyway, the results were... *Drumroll*

An average of 716!

What does that mean? Well, the exclamation point means I'm excited, therefore, I passed! What else does it mean? Oh yeah.

Well, in order to pass the GED test, I needed an average of at least 450, and each individual test score had to be over 410. I had already accomplished this on the pre-test so I had little worry on if I would fail... My average score on the pre-test was actually 694.

So on the actual test, I ended with a higher average. Depending on how you look at it, that's either an obvious outcome or a surprising outcome. I found it surprising since the questions on the actual test were much harder than the ones on the pre-test, even though there was more questions so it was harder to get a lower average.

Oh, and... a perfect score would be an average of 800. ;3
