Im not hating on gays or anything here, but... do we need MORE segregation between sexual orientations/preferences? Maybe Im a little ignorant or something, but what does being LBGT or anything else have to do with gaming? Do non-straight people feel uncomfortable with online gaming because of all the 'gay' and 'faggot' insults thrown about by fucked up 12 year old kids in CoD? Hey, guess what, most straight people dont like it either! How about a con for gamers that arent 12 year old CoD kiddies? How about a gamer con for people that dont like to bathe and feel theyre being discriminated against because of their raunchy stank? How about a con for gamers that wear coke-bottle glasses?
I just saw the banner on FA there advertising the gaming con for queers, and it stuck out at me.

This is not excuses, this is not me apologizing. This is me explaining what has happened to bring things to the tipping point over the past couple days.
I could feel it happening for the past couple weeks, at least, and my level of aggravation was rising in regards to certain people. This past week, however, was the roughest and finally put me over the edge into drastic action that... while perhaps unwise, it was not something I regret doing in the least.

First of all, it was a becoming a daily occurance that I would not even be asked if I wanted to play any games with anyone until I signed into a game and discovered all my friends already playing. They would mostly all say they loved playing with me, and even after the first, and second, and third time of pointing out the least they could do was invite me along, it carried on the same way. Every friggin day.
Then the much harder point to put into words, and this has lasted a fair bit longer than just these past couple weeks, but someone close and beloved seems to, in my eyes, have grown bored of me in regards to RP, an activity I found highly enjoyable every time it happened. Heck, I used to LOVE RPing, but over the past few months my own interest has waned as I have been failing to really lose myself in my character and get into an involved, descriptive RP at all, anywhere. Well, for the past little while, I almost feel like this person is outright avoiding RP with me, and actively RPing with pretty much anyone else. When it happened right in front of my very eyes last night, the straw was placed that broke the back.

Yes, I can be vindictive. Yes, I can be petty, and I AM petty. That is exactly why I lashed out and proceeded to spam the crap out of the RPP chatroom, in hopes to ruin the moods of friends and ruin the RP they had going, that I was petty and jealous over. That is exactly why I didn't bother offering to stream Tomb Raider for anyone today, and rushed through the game to finish it so that people that enjoy watching streams WOULDNT get to see it.

What is to come, though? Fuck people. If people want to have me around, they can ask me to be around. I wont be inviting anyone to anything I do, games or streams or any such thing, for a while. You wanna play with me, be it RP or games, you want me to stream a game for you that Im playing, then you can come and ask me, or invite me to a game, because Im done feeling left out. Ill be my own person with my own aims and keep to myself unless otherwise wanted. And if you dont want me, then you can do your own thing, too.

So I have the Diablo3 Steelseries mouse, and the software includes a click-tracker. Meaning it counts how many times each button is pressed. So just out of a bit of curiosity, get this...

I wont bother with the other four buttons, the side ones, as theyre just kind of... meh. I dont use them much in gaming, really. But it really goes to show that with most of my games, like LoL, D3, SC2 and so on, I use that right button a LOOOOT, moving and attacked and moving and attacking. Even more so than my usage of the left button in regular OS usage can make up for. Ha!

About to have dinner. Its my birthday. Steak for dinner, at home. Im glad that Im still at home and not travelling, yet at the same time... Im a bit wishing that I wasn't. I JUST got an email from my boss. Turns out, too much snow in Winnipeg atm, they dont want us out there yet after all. My start has in Winnipeg this year has been delayed from April 2nd, to April 15th. So a couple more weeks here in Victoria!

I should make a note of this, for sure! Ive known for 3 weeks or so now, but Im going back to Winnipeg. Soon. As in, I leave Victoria, BC this friday. So I got into playing Words with Friends. Basically, scrabble. And I was quickly reminded why I hate scrabble.

words that dont exist. Little shit words with two letters, or sometimes larger ones, that you cant find in a dictionary and only seem to exist IN scrabble. Like 'cigs.' Supposedly 'cig' is informal/slang for cigarette, so 'cigs' is just plural. I say bullshit.

Like, fuck, Skype? Why? Not asking skype, asking why the fuck do people USE skype? I use it for voice chat, which is what it was originally designed for and it works well. Kind of. But everything else? Other IM's work waay better. Skype is shit, the UI is terrible, the options and settings are horrendous. It alt-tabs you if you get a message or call when youre in a game! Like it feels its the most important thing on your computer....

Skype is a terrible, lackluster IM program. And yet everyone uses it now. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

THere are a few reasons I fav things, just so people dont get the wrong impressions about me.

I fave things for the ideas expressed in a particular work.
I fave things because I feel the art itself is eye-catching or wonderfully done.
I fave things because the art seems to carry a lot of emotion or feeling.


Not all my favs are the best art in the universe. Not all of my favs involve everything I love. Some of my favs disgust me in some ways... But all of my favs are pictures I truly like, in part or in whole. The easiest example woudl be something like... a straight yiff picture showing cock. I dont like cock, but if that lady in the picture is a hottie, that coudl be a fave.

So no reason to judge my preferences and likes based on a few favs you see. Most of what I fave is faved for the acts involved in the picture, though... I prefer to imagine the situations and the acts more than fantastize about a certain character or creature...

Now is time for bundling up against the cold, drinking looooots of tea, and trying to tell my body that alcohol consumption will resume at a proper pace. Seriously, I think the only things Ive had to drink this whole weekend have been sodas, and alcoholic beverages. Need hydration, yeargh! Pro-tip: not drinking water, juice or 'ade' drinks for the course of a 96 hour party weekend causes much sore, upset stomach, grogginess.

The plane from SeaTac was delayed this morning. Though as soon as there was a clear period in Victoria, they loaded us on the planein Seatac and got us the fuck home. Seriously, I think theyre cancelling more flights coming into Vic again... But whatever, Im hooooome! For now.

FC this year was certainly the best Ive been to so far. Hanging out WITH people kind of makes it better. Like, a lot. And each time you go, you get better at it! Now I have a USA sim card for my phone, so no more hassling with long distance plans next time. I know better than to pack things like wine, then FAIL at giving said wine to Uncle Kage... I rolled a total 1 there.
And next year, I will endeavor not to lose my badge! Fffff...! Still searching for it here. Also, when I got home, my new 'badges' were here! Oooh yes!

Yay, my last little 30 min flight from Seattle to Victoria was cancelled due to 'freezing fog,' so here I am paying for a night stay at the comfort inn in seattle. Damnit. Stupid planes. Stupid weather. Bah! Here goes $90 I hadnt planned on, for the hotel and dinner here. Damnit! DAMNIT! Stupid... bah!

First flight has gone without a hitch. Second flight about to board in a half hour. Should be in San Jose on time, meaning about 3:00pm.

Only a few issues have come up so far. The biggest one is that I HAVE NO BADGE! I forgot to get my badges out last night, and this mornign I was scrambling to find it. Couldnt, not in time to make my flight so... Yeah I have my Celestial Gryphon badge, but my FireGryph badge is somewhere. Elsewhere. No idea. Great... Oh well, no one needs know who I am I suppose! *sighs*
the other thing I forgot are my sunglasses, oh noes. I think Ill live without those. Im really just super ticked that I dont have my badges.... Blargh. it was my GoldenWolf one, too! Ill find it when I get home, where its useless and sits around all year. Feh!

OKay, so today I got an app and tested which method of IM's on my android phone use the most data. SKype uses the most so... no skype!

Ill be using Trillian to keep in touch with people down there. AIM, MSN and YIM. If anyone needs to get a hold of me, those will be themethods of contact used, or message someone that Im going to be with that has an actual plan or USA phone or whatever... I dont wanna get charged five billion dollars per text message.

Since Rogers Wireless is a stupid stupid sillyheaded place, I dont have any sort of roaming plan for minutes or text messages. So txt's will cost me an arm and a leg while down in San Jose.

However, what they DO offer is a cheaper roaming DATA plan. Which I purchased for the duration Im down there. Soooo... Ill be on IM's/Skype while in San Jose and at FC. Thusly, Ill be keeping in contact with people this way. Trillian on my phone, and skype, and while I dont know how much data is used by either I will use Trillian as well as I can. Heck, if theres free wireless anywhere down there, Ill tap into that too...
