Posted 18 years agoFirst off, I've been kinda down recently, and it's easier to deal with when I distract myself/keep busy, so with that in mind, I'm just curious if anyone out there wants to do any art trades of anykind. It'll give me stuff to do, plus it would be fun to have other people draw my characters. And if you have no art talents and just want to commission me, I'd be willing to draw for money as well. So yeah. I'm a whore, but you can get crappy doodles out of it. *Smiles*

What time did you get up this morning?
I don't actually know. It was my day off, so pretty late. I'd say 10 or 11 in the morning.

Yay Pokemon! Lol. Uhmm neither though. I don't like jewlery.

Pirates Of The Carribean 3 (Not the greatest movie, but at least it was better then Spiderman 3)

I usually listen to music in MP3 formats and listen to just random stuff. Right now I've been in a country kick so I've been listening to a lot of Bobby Pinson, Rascall Flatts, and a bunch of other talented country artists. Before that I was listening to the most recent Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance CDs
Morning or night person?
Night. I love hiking, walking running, and pretty much everything at night. I like being outside in the dark. The world just seems so different then... (God I sound retarded don't I?)

People who treat others like shit for no reason. If someone does something to piss you off, fine treat them like shit, but don't take out your frustrations on people who didn't do anything!

Right now, my watch. All my shirts and pants are starting to show wear and tear, even my boots are falling apart. My watch is the only thing that seems to be hanging in there.

Posted 18 years agoOkay, I think there is something seriously wrong with my subconscious. That, and or, I'm incredibly retarded. Why do I think this? Well, because for two night in a row, I have had the strangest dream ever. Basically, I'm in a car crash, and I wake up as my furry self only to have Lucario tell me I'm in a purgatory of sorts. Basically my body is dying, and I have to go through this whole purgatory thing if I want to keep living. Lucario isn't actually Lucario, but a spirit guide who took the form of something important to me. And in his own words "Since you're a sad pathetic geek with know life, this is the form I'm stuck with."
So yeah... Me and Lucario, and eventually a few more spirit guides (Kogenta, Beast Boy, and a tap dancing Spiderman) all have to go through this really dark weird fucked up world that’s based on all my fears and insecurities. The first night it was just me and Lucario trying to get through a forest made up entirely of trees that had add and kept getting up and running around. Then we had to go deal with this really creepy monster that kidnapped us and wouldn't let us go because it was afraid of being alone. We escaped, and then got on a boat in a wierd purple river, Lucario cuddled up with me and I fell asleep, and that was the end of the first dream.
The second night (last night) picked up back on the river, Lucario and I woke up only to almost drown when we were attacked (And almost raped) by a huge giant squid. We were rescued by Spiderman, but after he rescued us he kept singing and tap dancing. Lucario explained he represented my disappointment with life. We ditched Spiderman and I asked Lucario what he represented. He told me loyalty, courage, responsibility and leadership. I asked him who represents my humor, irresponsibility, and stupidity, and then Beast Boy showed up.
The three of us proceeded to try and get through a huge maze (While Beast Boy told a lot of bad and stupid jokes. I laughed, and Lucario groaned.) Eventually we figured out the maze didn't actually end, and we just had to climb over the wall to get out. We then got kidnapped and put into a coal mine were we stripped, chained up, and forced to work. We were told once we made enough money they'd let us go. We worked for a whole day, and then taken to this room to sleep for the night where we met up with Kogenta, who was also naked and chained up. After a very happy naked chain filled sex scene between me, lucario, beast boy, and kogenta, Kogenta helped us escape by getting really pissed off at the guards and breaking all our chains.
Lucario was weary about bringing Kogenta along with us (Because of his temper), but admitted he could be useful if I could figure out how to control him. He however just kept getting pissed over every thing and attacking stuff. I finally managed to control him by having sex with him again. (Yeah it was a good dream) Finally we got to a castle, and Stephen and Lukai were on the far end of it, but then a bunch of horrible monsters showed up, and Lucario said in order to get passed we'd have to kill them all. . I then woke up. So yeah... I'm definitely a warped person...

Comissions?
Posted 18 years agoAllright I'm a really really poor Wolf, and I need to find a way to make more money, in fact I need to try and make as much money as I possibily can. In the past I've tried doing comissions only to have pretty lousy results. (Both on my side and on the customer side) Everything from non payment for a drawing I did, descriptions so vague I couldn't even muster a guess at what the customer wants, and some problems with the way I mailed things. I did learn my lesson about how to properly pack and mail art so it's not damaged, but yeah... I'm thinking about possibily trying to do comissions again. I know I'm not as good as half the furry artists out there, but hey that means I'm only half bad. Lol. Seriously though, if you think you'd be interested in a pic send me an e-mail. I'm thinking the price range will be between 20-50 dollars depending on how complicated the drawing is, and how big. Basically for that price you'd be getting any rough idea sketches I did, the completed pen and ink drawing, and I'd e-mail (Or send it on a cd if you want) a digitally colored version as well. If you're really poor, but a talented artist, I may be willing to work out a trade instead of payment. Also, if anyone is good at making fursuits you could have free comissions for life. Lol. (I'm sorta joking... Although I really do want a fursuit, I just don't know when I'll ever have the money for one) but yeah.. I need money, so you get drawings. Yay for broke wolf.

Posted 18 years agoIt's that time of year again. Time for the single to feel lonely and depressed, and those with a partner to spend all their cash on chocolate, flowers, and a fancy dinner. I'm in the second category this year, and I'm glad for it. I really love Furkitfox. He's really a wonderful guy, and I'm lucky to have him. Whatever happens between us, he'll always mean the world to me. Anyways, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy valentines day. Wether you're going to be cuddling up to your partner, or going to sleep alone, I hope everyone has a good day. So happy V-Day!

Posted 19 years agoA lot of times books will inspire me to draw. I love reading, and do it whenever I can. Anyways, that said I've got a lot of books laying around waiting for me to read, and looking at the huge ass stack I realized how diverse it was. But yeah, after all fifty books I have lined up are read I'll be out of stuff to read so I want suggestions. Also, I'm curious what genres and auhors other furs read, so if anyone reads this journal, I want you to tell me either recommend books for me to read, tell me who are you favorite authors, or just list some of your favorite books.

Posted 19 years agoOkay one of those things on characters. I sorta have 4. I have just myself drawn as a wolf, Lavender the sexy cross dressing stripper cat, and then Jay and David. I'm going to try and do this on all four of them so each question I'm going to answer four times in this order Jarrad/Lavender/Jay/David (I just like making things complicated)
1. What is your character's name?
Jarrad / Lavender / Jay / David
2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race?
All four are just generic furry really...
3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?
Food! / Who the hell did I sleep with last night? / Where did I leave my gun? / Food.... Hey why is Jay's gun in my room? /
4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
Jeans and an emo t-shirt / Either his silk kimono or his blue mini skirt / His leather motorcycle jacket, a white t-shirt, camo pants and a big pair of combat boots / Designer jeans, sexy red t-shirts, goggles, and a nice pair of sandalls.
5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?
"Whoa I'm blue?" / "God I'm sexy...." / "Where did I get that scar?" / "God I love my goggles!"
6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?
He'll eat anything but Fish and pickles / Loves sushi and expensive foods / loves meat and potatoes / Loves Dr. Pepper and donuts (The breakfast of champions)
7. How is your character similar to you?
Jarrad is essentially just me with maybe a little bit less restraint / Lavender was originally just designed to be a sexy cross dressing character, but I will admit me and Lavender share a love of scented things like perfume and body sprays (His favorite smell is a mix of Lavender and Vanilla) / Jay is a bad ass who holds in his emotions. He's essentially based on my dad in a lot of ways. We are similar though in that we both take awhile before we really trust people enough to let them actually get to know us. / David is who I wish I was. A funny, geeky, optimistic, gay, artistic, computer hacker, with a heart of gold.
8. How is he/she different?
Jarrad isn't really different at all / Lavender crossdresses, something I'd never ever even consider doing. / Jay kills people for a living and is kind of afraid of his emotions. / David is just amazing. He can draw and paint better then I can, he's cuter, more optimistic, he's amazing with computers, he has a better sense of fashion, and he's wittier.
9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you?
Yes / No / No / Hell No
10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?
Yiff / Yiff / Ride my awesome motorcycle through the city / make Jay take me out on his awesome motorcycle
11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them?
I don't know anyones opinions on my characters in all honesty...
12. What advantages does your character have over you?
None he has a lot of the same problems I do / Lavender has the confidence thing going for him. He's so self confident and just knows he's the best / Jay is a super soldier, so yeah he's a heck of a lot buffer and more physically fit / David just has a really great attitude and is just really sexy.
13. What disadvantages?
NA / He's a slut and he doesn't have the ability to actually love someone the way I do. To him sex is just a fun pass time. He doesn't connect with people or allow himself to become emotionally attatched / He's has a harder time trusting people, he's afraid to express emotions, and he's afraid of falling in love. / He fell in love with someone who may not be capable of loving him back
14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?
No. Because he's essentially just me, furkitfox knows everything about him. / Yes. He secretly enjoys watching sports likes football, baseball, soccer, and rugby. / Yes, but I can't tell just in case I ever do get around to doing a comic book about him and David / Yes, but again I can't tell you...

16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her?
Nope / Nope / Yes / Yes
17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character?
I honestly have no idea...
18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be?
I'd take a little bit from each of the characters. I'd take Lavenders self confidence, Jays physique, and David's personality.
19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person?
Nope

Yes I've written about Jay and David
21. How has your character changed since his/her first creation?
He's become blue / I haven't made any changes to Lavender since I created him / No changes to Jay either / David used to be a grey color but I decided to give it a purplish hue.

"Uhmm, I'm not good at making jokes... Oh wait! I got one! What has four legs, is big, green, fuzzy, and if it fell out of a tree would kill you? He he... A pool table." / "To me, men are like bank accounts. Without a lot of money, they don't generate much interest." / "There are very few personal problems that cannot be solved through a suitable application of high explosives." / "I plan on living forever. So far, so good."

Has a crush on Angelina Jolie / Is Bi, not gay / Loves Knock Knock jokes and bad puns / Used to work as a stripper at Ganymede Rising a bizzare gay club in the dowtown area.

Take him on a date and seduce him. / Take him on a date and seduce him / Ask him not to shoot, Get him to take me out on a date on his awesome motorcycle, seduce him into giving me said motorcycle / Steal Jay's motorcycle so I could use it to take David on a date and seduce him.

Posted 19 years agoAllright, I just inherited a free Chinchilla. (An aqquaintence had one and could not keep it) The thing is I'm trying to decide what to name him. They had named him cody, but I'm not sure I actually like that name. My roomate suggested pichu, and Steve McQueen as names, and I came up with Taro, but I don't like any of them so far. Should I just leave his name, or change it, and if I do change it, does anyone have any suggestions as to what?

Posted 19 years agoI work too much. I'll have worked 50 hours this week. (Way, way too much!) Which sucks since it leaves little time for drawing. I have two sketches I want to color, and several ideas for drawings, but no time to work on them. It really sucks sometimes. Anyways, if I ever get some free time I'll hopefully post some more artwork....
How do you find Mr. Right?
Posted 19 years agoJust a silly little question, but how does one go about finding the person they want to spend the rest of their life with? How does one find someone they are interested in who is interested in them back? *Sighs*
I know this is angsty (God I'm Emo!) but bear with me and think about this. I live in Flagstaff, Arizona. There are not a lot of furs anywhere near my area. Most of the time when I date regular folk they usually get wierded out by the fact that I draw furry porn. So either I have to find a person with a really really open mind, or I have to find another fur.
Well, sounds simple until you think about it. There are no furs in my area. Heck there aren't even that many in this entire state. Of those I have to try and find one who is single, likes me, and is willing to date me. I know of one. A great guy I met a long while back. Thing is I don't think he likes me. Plus he doesn't live in the same city as me.
*Whimpers*
So what do I do. I want to start dating, but to do so kinda takes two... I can't handle a long distance online relationship. For me, that isn't real. Someone can say they hug you or say they are kissing away your tears, but typing it and actually having someone do it are completely different. I am greedy and need the real thing.
I'm just kind of starting to think I'll never find it. I feel like I'll never find someone who likes me that I can be with.
There are few people I'd even really consider dating at all. One the guy I mentioned earlier (Mmmmm badger) a wolf who lives in Alaska who is honestly one of the nicest guys I've ever talked to. A cat in Phoenix who although recently single I can't really pursue due to stupid reasons.... And.... Oh and a Folf in Texas who is the ex of a friend of mine. Yeah... So how do I find Mr. Goodfur? Or is this one of those things were I'm supposed to just sit, be patient, and hope Mr. Good Fur finds me? Cause, I've been patient for a long while. I let my heart be broken.

Single, 21, Gay, Furry Artist looking for a mate...

You see, I want to find someone (Hopefully a fur) who I can have a serious committed relationship with. Someone who will love me, and I can love in return. I'm hoping for someone relatively cute (Although honestly looks really aren't important to me) someone not too much younger or older then me, who is funny, intelligent, responsibile, a decent cook, and who I could introduce to and would get a long with my family ( A big deal for me!)

Heya all.... I didn't think I'd be posting another journal entry (Especially so soon after the last one) But I was amazed by the amount of responses I got so, with the new found knowledge that seem people actually read these, I'm posting again.
Anyways, for those of you who don't know me that well, I'm a 20 (Going on 21 in 3 days) year old gay furry artist living in Flagstaff Arizona. I currently work at Blockbuster (Not the best job in the world, but the free movies are nice) and I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with my life.
I recently got out of a one month relationship (My second shortest relationship of all time. The longest being two years) and I can't help but feeling lost. I really thought he was the one! (Not that I believe there is only one person out there for each person) I just thought he was the person I could spend the rest of my life with, and finding out he didn't feel the same hurts quite a bit.
In addition, the pain of rejection as once again brought to my attention my many, many shortcomings. The biggest of which is my fear of abandonment. Ever since my parents kicked me out of the house for being gay, I've had a long history of being abandoned and or hurt by those I care about. It's something that makes it harder for me to trust people. It also makes me very paranoid sometimes. This is something I really need to work on if I'm ever going to have a sucessful relationship I need to be able to trust my parrtner fully.
In addition to paranoia, I few other not so great traits. The biggest of which is that currently I really have no future or ambitions. Other then someday wanting to draw a comic book, I have no real goals, nor do I have any idea what I want to do with my life. I have no direction or drive, and I don't know how to fix it. I don't know how to decide what I want, let alone go about making it happen...
Finally last but not least, I'm a bit clingy and too emotional. I don't fall for people easily. A person has to be very special for me to even like them as a friend. When I do fall though, I fall hard and fast. Something that is really not healthy! I've only fallen in love 3 times in my life. All three times with people I shouldn't have let myself love. Once I'm in love I cling to them. Which can be annoying. Also, since I wear my emotions on my sleeve and hold nothing back, when I began to feel sad or hurt or rejected I fall apart. Not contrrolling my emotions, I become a mess of tears and hurt feelings.
*Sighs* You'd think since I recognize all my many problems I'd have made some progress in facing and overcoming them, but the truth is I don't even know where to start? How does one begin a journey of self improvement? How does one go about changing who we are?
*Sighs* I just know I need to work through these things before I pursue any other relationships.... *Sighs* In closing I'm going to post the lyrics from a song thats been in my head for the last few days. I'd say it's off topic, but honestly it kinda fits well with the way I feel insider right now.

Single Lonely Artist Seeks Great Fur For Life Long Fun.

This is my first journal entry (Since no one reads them anyways, I didn't see the point of posting one) Anyways, I recently became single again. *Whimpers* It's what I get for falling in love with a bi-sexual friend of mine who is looking for a woman.
When the relationship started, I knew it prolly wouldn't last, but still I held out hope that he would feel for me the way I feel for him. We'd been friends for awhile, and roomates for awhile as well, and I just thought he would fall for me.
You see, I really could have been happy spending the rest of my life with him. I loved him! I don't know if I'll ever find someone else I can get that close to again, but eventually I'm going to have to start looking.
