First of all, how have all of you been? :D How's life? Been eating properly?
I hope Fall season has treated you fairly and that 2022 finishes on a positive note for you!

I am still working on japanese studios at the moment (mind you, overseas that is, thankfully HAHA. Now that I've got a grip on this, I think this was for the best... working as a beginner IN-studio would've been hell on earth! But my dream to work over Japan has not faded just yet!). Finished a rough draft last month and it got approved, apparently! Its exciting and just the beginning, will let you all know once you can find my name in the big screen. All this time that I've got to think on my own made me reflect, and I couldnt be here without the support that all of you have lend me so far.
And I am very grateful for that.
It's been a long while, I really miss focusing on furry art if I am honest, it was so fun to expand my possibilities and just talk to all of you, this community has always been very positive and welcoming. I cant wait to return and create some more with new-found knowledge before going back to following my dreams!

So! It's been a while since I last updated my journal and for that I deeply apologize, thank you so much to everyone for your patience and for supporting me and my art journey so far!
I have several updates to do so here's a recap of what has happened recently:

1- My first animated commission was finished successfully! I'm so grateful for this experience, learned a lot and made some friends in the process!

2- I recently have been solely focusing on my animation skills, which thankfully has been of huge help, BECAUSE..... I just got my first 3 gigs in japanese anime studios! It may take a long while for my name to pop up in the credits BUT I am extremely surprised about the whole ordeal. I still cant believe I'll do my debut so early in such great studios :') The payment will be absolute trash but thats how we start in the industry... I think Japan can wait for a year until I gather enough money to support myself as an in-studio animator! In the mean time... its a matter of working and working and working!

3- Now that that is out of the way, I wont be able to update my profile as I used to and/or, sadly, work on commissions for a good while. I wish I could work on them as a side job but I dont want to compromise with my clients and deliver a mediocre piece in exchange. For that I apologize and I ask of you for patience until I return with news and available commission slots!

This is just the beginning and Im excited to see more come out of this :D

I am happy to anounce that I'll dedicate my summer to work on improving my animation skills + portfolio! An amazing costumer commissioned me to work on an animated clip of his character and this will be a great oportunity to give it my all in that regard~
I may also use that momentum to work on even more animated clips just to expand my possibilities :) Not exactly sure when will I officially come back (;^ω^)

I would like to further develop my abilities to create characters and, of course, sell them if I have the chance.
Its just that whenever I offer them I get really anxious of the results. I know my worth as a person, artist and also the worth of my craft. But receiving no offers is a fear of mine. Fear of rejection, maybe? I dont know.

And it doesnt matter what I do my numbers barely go up so it means that not so many people see my work. Social media is a weird concept, huh? We got so used to relating numbers to success, which thats not what I think about life and success at all but it gets to me even if I dont want to... What do you think would help me reach out even more people? Or maybe make my art more appealing? Art is subjective, I know, but I feel that theres always room to improve, so any comment helps a lot! <3

Now that I graduated from college (YAY! As you may know, I've been preparing myself to become a 2D traditional animator in Japan, and for that I need money to pay the rent during the first couple of months while I gain enough income to sustain myself X(

These last few weeks I started receiving requests of commissions and it feels so, so good!
One very good friend told me to trust that the word would be spread little by little and to continue working until I start receiving requests.
I was a little... "upset"? At the time, since I really (still) need the money and I want to make most of my time by illustrating, and of course, drawing for people and making them happy (With my art which is crazy) means the world to me. Thats what I was born to do anyway!

Im working on a personal project right now, Im actually pretty excited! :D Just to let you know guys that it doesnt mean that I'll leave my illustrations on a side note, I'll be working on both things at the same time :3

Been making an animated project with my friends from school, we were supposed to participate in a competition but we had no time left, not so many hands and some team mates ended up not making their parts right, so some friends and I had to do their parts as well. The last week of that project was a nightmare, I animated for like 12 hours daily for more than 8 days, so yeah, you can imagine that I was super busy and my back and hand hate me at this point. Im feeling much better and i have plenty of time to draw what I want and to rest too! I wish I had uploaded more stuff but yeah, thats how it be lmao. Thank you guys for sticking around <3

I decided I will post furry art only after hours of talking to my friends who introduced me into this community, so!
