Small Backlog of work incoming
General | Posted 8 years agoHello!
I have a small backlog of some work I've been sitting on for a while that I finally got around to clearing out during the holiday season. Some are going to scraps, some will stay in my gallery. I don't expect them to have very original titles or good tagging.
I still draw every now and then, but a lot of it sits on my phone and never goes anywhere. Figured it might be better to get it on to here before it gathers any more dust.
I hope everybody had a happy holiday season and a good new years!
Cheers!

Detroit Iron
General | Posted 9 years agoIt's been a long time since I've submitted a journal on here. This is only really an update to my life, and to get the old journal off the front page.
I've moved to Detroit and work for a car company at a plant. The first few months on my own were a bit rough, but everything is settling down finally and I've got some money lying around these days. I suppose when I'm not saving for a house or suping up my sports car, I might buy a few commissions around here. That also means I need a major update on all of the refs on my characters.
I've made a prototype sheet and getting around to making the first actual ref using it and then I see how that goes.
Cheers to not being dead!

Even as I left Florida...

Wasn't far enough

Far from Florida
Florida by Modest Mouse
That's one of my favorite all time songs, and relevant to my life right now. I've left Miami to go to Detroit to pursue an internship with one of the big car American car companies (not saying which). As such, my life has taken quite a turn and the last semester has been brutal, at 19 credits. I haven't drawn or interacted very much in the last year or so.
Though, now that my life is going to become more routine and less sporadic because of school, and the fact that all of my friends that live up here work full time jobs after graduating from university, I might become a little more active in general.
I will return home in August and continue taking classes until graduation around Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by!
Looking for Art Trades
General | Posted 11 years agoHey guys, I'm feeling a bit uninspired these days. I haven't had as many art trades as I used to, and 50 percent of my art was art trades. Those are mostly on DA, so I'm looking to do more FA art trades.
So if anybody is looking to do any art trades, let me know!
This is the limitations of what I'm willing to draw.
+ SFW only
+ Simple background
+ A single character/ object.
Other than that, I don't feel the need to limit it any further.
Things I have good practice in:
+ Cars (This is what I drew exclusively as a child)
+ Any mechanical/electrical intensive objects (like robots, cyborgs, and mechs)
+ Anthro/ Furry characters that are mammals. (I'm not as well versed in all of those other kingdoms.)
Thanks for looking!

A Method to the Madness Regarding Favorites
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I am still new to FA and I haven't made much of an impact yet. But if there's one thing I have always had a problem with, it is a way to deal with what to favorite and what not to favorite.
+ I will only favorite 2 items from an artist that they submitted prior to me watching them (3 at max if I really like their work).
+ I will not favorite porn, even though I like porn, it's not really my style to publicly announce it. Maybe some artistic nudity and such.
+ Anything I commission or is related to myself.
+ I will favorite any subsequent pictures an artist puts out after I watch them that I like. That way I'm not going around faving entire galleries.
I want my favorites to have variety and some dignity. Maybe my gallery can get that treatment when I get around to drawing something. Maybe after the world ends, then I'll get around to it.
Random Inspiring quote:
“I value the friend who for me finds time on his calendar, but I cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar.”
