A lovely person by the name of
prickpocket has asked me to share their idea of creating an open species list on toyhouse, and are in need of more species. They have a compiled a well organized, and alphabetical list which you can see here. Credit is given with a clickable link back to your page, species, and any bases you may have made.

-Completely Open
-Semi-Open
-Create (Freely)
-Create (With permission)
-Under Construction.
A small note: Unless otherwise stated, the "Under Construction" species are still free to make. They just might not have a finished back story or their rarity chart isn't finished, etc.
This is a work in progress however. So if anyone has any better ideas, please leave a comment! Your voice is important to us!

Dijirin: Clan based hybrids which take the form of egg-laying species typically. Come in 12 clans (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, Dark, Energy, Psychic, Order, Chaos, Time, Space) and are found as herm and intersex genders only.

USB:
TRAITS:
-Must have a USB connection to be able to charge internal battery
-USB is either a tail(smaller models like the Marlene unit) or within the ear(Chobit ears, larger models).
-May have as many as 11 USB connections(up to 9 USB tails, 1 USB connection per ear)
-All USB connections have a brightly colored marking identical to the one on the Marlene unit, this marking will glow until battery levels reach 10%
-All micro units(example: Marlene) are dark colored with neon markings/glowing. All regular units are pale with dark markings/glowing.
-All USB units appear to be part mouse. Whatever else you mix it with doesn't matter, go crazy.
-Micro unit height cannot go below 7inches or about 6feet.
-Regular unit height cannot exceed 14feet, cannot be under 4feet

A: An open species is a species that anyone is allowed to make as long as they abide by the species/creator's rules.
Q2: My Species is too common/goofy looking. Will it still be accepted in the group?
Of course! Even if your species looks like a common dragon, as long as it's lore is your own original concept it shall be accepted. Same goes for goofy species. We at Open Species Like sharing things that make people happy, and hope to spread the laughter and joy.
Q3: Can my character be different from its species' rules?
A: If it does not say anything in the submission or the original submission about making your character unique, then please ask the original creator (provided at the bottom of each submission.)
Q4: Can I make a hybrid of a species with another species?
A: Please ask the original creator (Provided at the bottom of each submission.) if that is alright with them.
Q5: I need my character's design approved. Where do I get it approved?
A: From the original creator of the species. (Provided at the bottom of every submission.)
Q6: Can I make a fursuit of any of these species?
A: Please ask the original creator. (Provided at the bottom of every submission.)
Q7: I saw a suspicious looking "__" that doesn't follow the species rules! What do I do?
A: Tell the original creator about it. (Provided at the bottom of every submission.)
Q8: How do I add my species to this group?
A: Please send us a note titled "Open Species."
Q9: How do I take off my species from this group?
A: Please send us a note titled "Closing Species" and tell us which species is yours. Then it shall be removed shortly.
Q10: I sent a note to open/close species, and nothing has changed! What do I do?
