Just wanted to let you know that me and  spikievstheworld are going to have a table at Califur again this year! It's a new, bigger venue so I am super excited!! I've never been one to post journals every day about how my life is, how I'm feeling, and all that, but I've liked getting to know artists I admire through those kind of personal posts. I like reading the descriptions of artworks when there's a story involved and I tend to remember everything I've read that an artist has written in their journals or something like that. Like I will remember something they said in a journal 5 years ago when they write something like "I know none of you would remember this" (I remember) lol...

My question for you, oh person who follows artists is do you like it when artists talk? Or would you rather them just post their art, and maybe a journal every once in a while letting you know what cons they'll be at and when they'll be open for commissions?

I understand that it's a bit different artist to artist, as personalities and all are varied, but I'm intrigued to know how people feel about this and if I should start talking more, in addition to posting art with no context on what I was thinking about when I drew it, etc.
