Just updating my journal so my rant in the last journal doesn't show up on my user page. Also expect inactivity and very little submitting. I'll try to get online occasionally to answer comments though.

Appearantly the rating system means nothing on this site, its being used more as a suggestion. Also is anyone ever going to update the submission guidlines in the wikiaffinity?

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I've just been busy, and I haven't been in a very creative mood, but I am still around. ^_^

So I decided to try out Gaia since I've occasionally heard people talk about it. And it was a two hour waste of my time. All the site really amounted to was vacant minded consumerism for virtual items, if I wanted that I'd go back to Neopets. What really pissed me off though was when I posted my charizard picture in the art share forum they accused me of art theft because they had seen the picture on Google. Its on Google because its on my DA account too and Google searches DA. I just left, there's no point reasoning with people like that and I don't need to be insulted like that. Apparently if your art doesn't look like its made by a five year old in MS paint then it must be art theft.

I feel like I'm in the movie Idiocrasy.

I was thinking of doing another pokemon picture, since everyone liked my charizard so much. So I want to know, which is your favorite? And if your favorite is charizard, which I already did, what's your next favorite?

I know I just made a journal entry, but I want to say this, and I don't want two messages muddying up my other entry.

I'm really glad I was gone during the whole cub art fiasco, although its annoying to come back to the site and find more then half the people I was watching gone, and not all of them left their DA address either.

But one thing that really bothered me is a message one of those people left saying all people still using FA and not wilfully having a dramafit are pedophiles.

I do NOT support child porn, even if it is drawn on a peice of paper, even if its of an anthro character instead of a human. But I'm not going to run off this site because of that, especially when I just got back. And I do not appreciate that generalization being made about me! Am I the only person who can agree to disagree?

Sorry about leaving for so long, I had an emotional break down to say the least. I don't want to go into it though.


Also I can't believe how many people haved watched me, commented and favorited my art since I was gone. It's like that episode of Furturama where Fry finds out he has a billion dollars in the bank, then starts drooling and faints on the bank floor. Since I had so many I hope you understand when I don't respond to all of them. But thank you all very very much.


I'm going to upload the new stuff I've made since I left. All of which is clean insidentanlly. I don't know if I'm going to do mature art anymore. It's not a deffinate no, just "I have to think about it". I'm having quite a moral dellema I might add as well.


On one hand, I'm very good at drawing mature pictures and you all enjoy them very much. I've become popular, and I know that everyone says popularity is not important, but I've been the picked on weirdo in every school and job I've ever been in. As well every art endevour I've tried, both online and in real life, I've always fallen behind. Now here, Ive actually made something of myself and it's a big deal to me. So call me vane and self centered but these are my honest feelings.

On the other hand, making the mature art was what was making me feel bad from the start. I feel like a cheep whore really, well actually a pimp since its my characters who are all nude, not my persona, but that's not really any better to me.

Incidentally, I would like to point out I am talking about porn and not artistic nudity, which I have no problem with. And I don't mind anyone else porn or yiff either, it's just making it myself I'm worrying over.

So I still have some things to think about. But in the mean time, more art!

What's with all the people who when you thank them for watching you they all of a sudden start acting like you insulted them. I actually am grateful that people watch my art and fave it. But there's people on this site (as well as other) who act like their too good for being thanked. It's like these people want everyone to go around acting like snide elitist jerks, maybe so they won't feel bad about doing it themselves. There is nothing wrong with thanking people and being polite, so don't bite them when they do it because people are already rude enough as it is.

Also all the people who have watched me lately have been really nice, this isn't about you. It stems from a bunch of journals, from different people, where they are insisting that no one fill up their user page with "pointless" thank you messages.

The range of character designs we allow there is very large. Anything that is sci-fi fantasy and furry related is allowed. Nonmorphic fantasy creatures, furries, human faced fantasy creatures and even humans, and the same for scifi as well. Both the common fantasy creatures (like dragons for example) and stuff that is entirely your creation is allowed.

Also the community is completely open and public, plus Livejournal has an open id feature that lets you post comments without having an LJ account so you don't even need to be a member of livejournal to use it. All you need is a valid email (because the community sends the exchange info by email).

First off, I accidentally deleted my comment messages without reading them because I hit the wrong button. I red all the comments in my journal, and on the new pictures I posted, but if you commented on any of the pictures I posted before that I would have missed them. So sorry if I didn't reply.

Secondly, thank you all for answering my question about pricing CDs. I was actually fairly pleased with the prices given. But I think I will not be selling any because of the issues of the CDs being pirated. Also you can get digital pictures of my art on line for free already.

So here's the other questions, how much would you pay for a print of my art (any picture at all)? And how much would you pay for an original of one of my traditional artworks?

If I was going to sell a CD with my furry art on it, or a CD with dragon pictures (including new art) how much would you pay for it? Not how much do you think it would be worth, but how much would you be willing to pay? Recently someone who I will not name, told me they plan to use one of my character designs in a video game. They didn't ask me if it was alright, they just came to me and said 'I'm using it'.

Do not use any of my characters designs for any reason, in part or in whole. These are my own original designs that are not for public use. I will be visiting the copy right office in a few days to officially and legally copyright all my character. But until then I am still entitled to my intellectual property. Art is automatically copyrighted to its creator even without an official copyright.

If this behavior persists I will have to contact the site admins and block this person from viewing my art.

If it still persists after that I will have to remove my art from the Internet permanently and pursue legal action.

To the person who is putting me in this situation: if you force me to remove all my art you will be ruining this situation for a lot of people, all the ones who view my art and have come to enjoy it. I'm sure they will not be happy about this outcome.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of people (many who are female but not all) complaining about the unrealistic proportions and standards shown on female character. They all have giant boobs, they're all nymphomaniacs. That's because those qualities are what we like to imagine. People complain that it isn't realistic, but neither is a fox who can stand on two legs and talk. If you want to nit pick obsessively over realism go draw a human. Personally, I'm in this for fantasy and what I can imagine and imagining someone with a perfect body is more fun. So stop telling me what I'm supposed to be attracted too. It's not my fault you don't get any attention because you're the boobless wonder.

And I don't mind if you're into the small boobs, and realistic proportions, but don't get me involved in it and don't complain that not everyone shares the same values of beauty as you do. Just stick within your own interests and don't bother anyone else.

In real life I don't have a perfect figure either, but do you see me complaining that no one thinks what I look like in real life is beautiful. No, I draw something that is the 'exaggerated' standard and get over it that way.

So the main message here is, draw what you like but don't complain when not everyone shares your idea of beauty. Find people who do and leave everyone else alone. Don't tell me what I'm supposed to find beautiful.

Sorry about the flooding the other day. for a while you will probably get minor flooding from me (aprox 10 pictures at a time, maybe a little more, maybe a little less.)

Also when I said I was going to do less anthro pictures from now on I didn't mean there would be picture after picture of humans filling my gallery. I'm still interested in fantasy creatures with animal qualities (like centaur, naga, demons, harpies you get the idea). There will be lots of pictures of Orena and my other changelings. There will be some humans, mostly character from my Orion story. Orion also has numerous anthro aliens so you'll see them as well. And of course you will still see some anthro pictures, basically I'll draw them when I feel like it.

No one raised this issue, I just felt I needed to explain it.

Anyway, I'm going to upload some of my older pictures here first. I know that you like some of them and I want you to still have access to them. Also I'm going to go back to Yiffstar as well. They say they want furry only art on there but they seem to be alright with animal/human fantasy creatures like centaurs and nagas.

I'm not going back to VCL though because they kept putting my perfectly acceptable pictures in scraps because of mystery dots and speckles that I could never find to clean up.

After extensive searching for another art site I have decided to return to this one after finding nothing I really like. I'm also going to be on Shadowness, but I find that site hard to navigate so I don't know if I will stay there.

The reason I left here as well as my other galleries (VCL and Yiffstar) is because I feel my art is going in a different direction and that it is becoming less "furry". I felt that I was being pressured into making furry art when I wanted to draw other things (there was no actual pressure, I just felt it).

Also I have started to resent some of my furry creations. Mainly because I created them solely to get into the furry community and to please viewers. I feel that I have betrayed my previous character such as Orena. I will continue to draw my furry characters from time to time, but less often, simply when I feel like it.
