Another year has come and gone and a new one is around the bend. While I don’t know what kind of New Year’s Resolution to make, I thought I’d take a moment to see if anyone has an feedback or comments for what they’d like to see from me in the upcoming year.

Today’s my birthday! Hooray!

It’s that time of year again, when cakes start appearing all around me and like possessed by some unfathomable force is at work, they start flying through the air to stuff themselves down my throat. It sounds like a typical day for me, however, these cakes have candles and “Happy Hatchday Drag!” written on them.

Oct 19 is only a few more days away!

You see Drag sitting contently on the couch watching TV. He’s got a small, but noticeable paunch and wearing a blue pair of shorts with stars on it. He’s focused on his show and doesn’t see you there.

With Pokepals on its final chapter, I’ll be open to start another one. The new project is one I’ve been asked about for a while now for Spyro the Dragon and with the remakes announced for the original trilogy, now seems like a good time to announce my new project, “Spryo: War, Lust, and Cooking.”

Synopsis: The world has been engulfed in the Dragon Wars for years. On one side are the Guardians consisting of Ignitus, the Fire Guardian, Volteer, the Guardian of Electricity, Cyril, the Guardian of Ice, and Terrador, the Guardian of Earth. On the other side was the Dark Dragon Malefor and his General, Cynder.

Evenly matched, the fighting has be brought to a standstill as both sides seek a decisive advantage. In the meantime, hunger and famine are a constant on both sides as things seemingly drag on.

Meanwhile, deep in the swamplands, Spyro, a dragon unaligned with either side lives his life, unaware that soon his talents will have a very huge impact on the war.

Another year came and went. I submitted a bunch of stories and even submitted my 1,000 submission, but what’s to come in the year to come. As per usual, I like to propose this question to see what everyone would like more of in the coming year as well as what they liked from this year and anything else they’d like to say.

A few days ago I finally managed to obtain a Nintendo Switch along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. After playing it for abit I can happily say it was well worth the wait and look forward to playing more games when I get the chance.

List of Pokemon:

1. Chespin (M) - Atikus
Bio: The runt of a group of Chespin. His father was a Chesnaught and a champion battler. Atikus dreamed to be a champion too, but being seen as too small and weak compared to his brothers and sisters made everyone believe it was impossible. Not about to give up, Atikus tried even harder and has finally been given his big break. He is willing to put his life on the line to achieve his dream.

2. Scatterbug (F) - Lacey
Bio: A Scatterbug longing for life beyond spinning threads. She wants a life of excitement, romance, and challenge. When encountering Atikus she joins him to find just that and wonders if she'll some day meet her one true love.

3. Fletchling (M) - Jet
Bio: After being separated from his flock, this long flyer longs to find them, especially his sister. Despite his name, he isn't a very strong flier snd tends to prefer being grounded. He hopes his friends can help push him into a better Pokemon so that some day he can reunite with his flock with pride.

4. Litleo (M) - Ezra
Bio: A rogue little lion from his pride. Ezra ran away feeling more like a lone wolf rather than a part of the group. He went around getting into fights and going wild till he met Atikus's group. With Lacey and Jet's combined strength they managed to beat him and now he's tagging along. Due to his nature he acts rude to the others and constantly argues with Atikus, but all this hostility seems to keep him from leaving.

5. Ledyba (F) - Beat L. Borg
Bio: A bit bizarre to say the least, Beat L. Borg or Beat for short believes she is part machine because her shell is like armor to her. She considers herself a hero of justice and sees Atikus and the others as a team she wants to join. Despite being a bit weirded out by her overenthusiastic nature they can't say no to her eagerness. Lacey feels a bit jealous with another girl in the group who is also a bug/flying type that might be even cuter than her.

6. Squirtle (F) - Roshi
Bio: Considered to be a prodigy that could one day become a league champion, fate has placed this young Squirtle into Atikus's group. Almost instantly she has taken it upon herself to become the leader of the group to everyone's dismay especially Atikus who is the leader. Roshi knows of Atikus's father being a champion and comments that she is underwhelmed by his offspring. Atikus was ready to kick her out, but she does fill a gap in the team and important type coverage. They figure they can at least try to endure her and that will be worthwhile training at least.

7. Bunnelby (Female) - Usagi
Bio: A real tomboy Pokemon. She seems not to mind getting dirty and those around her dirty too when she digs holes. She says her dream is to one day dig holes up on the moon like all the moon rabbits do.

8. Venipede (M) - Wheeler
Bio: A thrifty type always looking for a quick buck or a free meal. He see Atikius and the others and cons his way into the group unaware that that intend to make him work to earn his keep. He is quickly regretting getting involved.

9. Snorlax (M) - Snow
Bio: Gluttonous as any Snorlax ever was and a heavy sleeper too. He dreams to find the Snorlax Paradise, a land of endless food. Just the thought of such a thing makes Snow hungry. After being bested by Atikus he has been motivated by his strength and believes following him around the world might lead him to the Snorlax Paradise.

10. Zubat (F) - Draculetta
Bio: A bat with a powerful bloodlust and a very creepy personality. She gives anyone a chill down their spine whenever she is close, especially when it comes to her giving hugs. After tasting Atikus's blood and liking it a lot she has decided to stock around for more much to Atikus's horror. Atikus wonders why he has all the luck in attracting such weirdos and his team opts to ignore that comment.

11. Serviper (F) - Sssusssie
Bio: A friend of Draculetta's who sadistically loves poison and the way it is so debilitating. Draculetta invited her to join the team and now everyone has twice as many things to fear. Snow and Wheeler are just relieved that they have immunity to poison since that seems to have made Sssussie lose interest in her teasings of how one little knick from her tail could be lethal. When asked what she hopes to gain on this journey, she is only interested in the body count she can create. Atikius and the others are hoping they don't ever have to take her off the bench.

12. Hippopotas (F) - Pudding
Bio: A heavyset Pokemon with a love of food. When Atikus and the others met her she quickly helped herself to their supply of berries and gobbled them down mostly to Snow's chagrin. Now she's tagging along with hope of more tasty things to come her way.

13. Machop (M) Flexo
Bio: When it comes to feeling the burn, Flex will pump you up! Always energetic and up for training he is impressed by the strength of the team and wants to help them "max their thick." None of them know or want to know what that means but they get a bit freaked out on seeing him flex his bulgy, veiny muscles.

14. Aerodactyl (M) - (None)
Bio: Taking a piece of Old Amber to have it restored into a Pokemon, Team Atikus was greeted by a very frightening new ally, Aerodactyl. Restored from a fossil, this Pokemon has no memories or even a name to call his own. He can't say he is grateful to be alive because they were eager to have an ancient Pokemon's power on their team, but seeing as he is now in a strange world he is holding them all responsible for his well-being. For starters, he wants them to figure out a name for him that doesn't sound "lame." While Atikus and the others know little about ancient Pokemon, they did not expect one to be like this Aerodactyl.

After a big discussion and their new Aerodactyl teammate tossing out several names, they finally found one he is satisfied with. From now on his name is Petrol.

15. Luvdisc (M) - Shallow
Bio: A Luvdisc out for love and seeking it everywhere. When he battled with Roshi it was love at first Water Gun and now he refuses to leave her side. Roshi never had a stronger desire to learn Hydro Pump and blast him into next Tuesday.

Shallow didn't stick long with the team and was quickly traded up for a much more impressive Steelix.

16. Steelix (F) - Thumper
Bio: DEFENSE!!! Being an invincible wall is his reason for existing. That is Thumper in a nutshell. Thunper loves boasting his mega high defense and take on any and all attacks. The only flaw in this is that the effort he takes to polish his body always gets ruined as a result.

17. Sigilyph (F) - Rue N.
Bio: After sleeping for a millenia, Rue N. or Rue for short has finally awakened to save the world from a great cataclysm. The validity of this story seems full of holes as she is younger than most of the Pokemon on Team Atikus. She used to chat with Beat L. Borg ages ago to do RPs that doesn't surprise anyone on the team.

Gym Battles:

Gym Battle Against Viola!

First up Ezra vs Surskit
Ezra started to bulk up, but Water Sport put a damper on my fire strategy. Luckily, Ezra decided to use his head quite literally with Headbutt and got the KO.
Vivillin is next and Ezra isn't about to back down yet!
Feeling cocky after his quick win against Surskit, Ezra used Workout to increase his strength more, but with Water Sport's effect still active his flames were barely effective. With no other choice but to use physical attacks, the little lion fought on.
With previous damage not yet healed, it appeared Ezra would be the one to fall if he was not switched out, however, the effects of Infestation took effect and locked him into this battle. Ezra couldn't run, but he just grinned perfectly happy to keep on kicking ass.
The rest of the team congratulated Ezra on a hard fought battle and he smugly bragged he'd beat all the gyms as easy only to be humbled by his injuries.
Blushing embarrassed to have Atikus carry him to the PokeCenter to recover he admits (to himself anyway) that he is able to fight all out now because he has a team to be there to support him.

Gym Battle Against Grant!

First up is Atikus vs Amura
Atikus hits hard with a strong Needle Arm and gets countered by a Thunder Wave.
Amura heals with a Hyper Potion, but Atikus chips some of his health away with Bite.
A powerful Takedown strikes Atikus near Critical HP, but he endures and finishes Amura with another Needle Arm.
Tyrunt comes out next and Roshi jumps in to give Atikus a rest.
Roshi gives it her all with a Water Pulse right at the start and still reacts swiftly to dodge Rock Tomb.
Another Water Pulse brings Tyrunt down to critical HP, but his Rock Tomb hits this time and slows Roshi a bit.
Tyrunt gets desperate and lashes out eith a series of Bites attempting to keep Roshi flinching, but one bubble and the dino is KOed!
Team Atikus is victorious. There were some close calls, but Roshi and Atikus fought tough and won for everyone.

Currently:

Atikus and Roshi have been getting along due to their recent win at the second gym, but they are still competing to prove which one of them deserves to be team captain. Meanwhile, Ezra is dealing with confidence issues. Most of the team has evolved at least once and learned some new, stronger moves while he feels like he is falling behind and his solo of the first gym is old and forgotten. With Jet as another Fire Type and new teammates being added one after another, he's getting worried that he might not be selected to be a part of the Main Team at this rate.

After being inspired by a playthrough of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time I was inspired with a new story idea featuring one of my favorite characters from the game, Yoob. A character that only makes a short appearance early on in the game and then has no further purpose in the plot leaving both his origin unknown and his fate afterwards a literal cliffhanger. Where did he come from? Is he an alien from the Shroob Planet? Is he an unfortunate Yoshi that was transformed as another diabolical plot of that alien menace? What about afterwards? Is he still hanging there larger than life? The time has come to finally answer those questions.

Story will contain: Weight Gain, Size Change, Vore, Transformations, Yoshis

Wow, hard to believe, but after all this time on FA I am fast approaching 1,000 submissions with less than 10 to go. I knew it was coming, but I am shock that I came close to almost not even realizing it.
