i've been thinking about this lately. It's pretty rare when a commissioner tells me to change something, but I'm partially wondering if it's because I'm showing them a finished piece as opposed to a changeable sketch.

Should I show a sketch for approval before working on the full piece? Why or why not?

jfc i was planning on getting a literal halfsuit so i can cosplay them as a faun but the more i look at heads the more i realize how cool it would be to have a head that's full of personality and cute little fangs!! I'm not complaining at all, I love every follower I get and I feel flattered beyond belief when someone greater than I follows me. I'm just kind of curious as to what they see.

If you ever want to draw them/I commission you, don't be afraid to mess around with their design and colors as you see fit. Change up their hairstyles, species, markings, just as long as they can still be read as my characters. Like if you draw Skylar as a chinese water deer/hawk hybrid or if you draw the lolita cat bright pink/yellow and wearing rave gear
really, go wild with them. I love to see what people come up with! I want to hold a contest or something just to see what people can do!

Right now, my biggest goal is to get through college in one piece, then find a job out on the west coast, preferably in Seattle. Or somewhere that will allow me to change my gender marker without surgery. (A big old fuck you to Michigan for this, thanks for alienating your nonbinary residents) Get on T, maybe do this while I'm still in college. I'll have to see how things go, but I want to wait at least another year and make sure this is what I really want. It's a huge decision, and I know I'm ready for it, but it's just scary, you know?

I want to live in a condo or an apartment by myself with two cats and a lizard of some sort. Maybe two lizards so they can keep each other company. I want to get up at the crack of dawn and make myself a bit of breakfast before I head off to work as a graphic designer, work myself down to the bone, then come home, take a bath, and relax with the windows open to let the cool air in. I want my cats to keep me company, and cute little lizards because I love them!

And I don't want to get married, just either date or keep myself single but have a close knit group of friends to keep me company and probably one best friend that I can just chill out with. But no matter what, I won't have kids. I'm far too unstable for that and I wouldn't be able to provide them with the best life. It's for the best.
I'll just keep collecting animals until I die haha

Being awake is just too much of a pain sometimes. I'm terrified at night, especially when I sleep alone. I just have this really paranoid feeling that something terrible is going to happen. I don't like dreaming that much. Most of the time my dreams frighten me because I worry so much at night and that still affects my subconscious.

Sleep is hard to come by, it seems; I don't think I've slept through the night in years. I ALWAYS wake up, and it takes me forever to fall back asleep.

I'm seeing my psychiatrist today, I'll see if she can put me on something to help calm me down at night. I'm on medication, but at night things just get bad for me

Man sometimes I feel like I'm just pathetic.

Would anyone be interested in watching me draw? Like if I set up a stream and you come in with references and such, and I work on it right in front of you? While I play some shitty music off Pandora?

This might seem strange to some of you, since I said how my parents were abusive, but it really, really seems like they've changed. They're going with me to therapy, they're letting me do whatever I want, and they're even accepting me as trans*!! (Though they're using my birthname, but it's progress)

And moving back home will take a lot o pressure off of me as far as paying rent goes. I won't be a burden to my roommates anymore, plus I won't be sleeping in the living room so I can finally have some privacy!! ;w;

Overall, I'm pretty excited about this. Things should go really well.

ugh like I've been getting better, the medication is helping but at the same time I don't feel ready enough for a job. I keep getting these weird moods where I'm aggravated and upset and I normally sleep them off, but I can't do that if I'm at work. Plus, I'm scared of messing up the current schedule I have for myself which is working out pretty well.

And my parents want me to move back in with them, but I'd rather not put myself back into their abusive ways again. :/ I might just move in with my sister, that way I don't have to worry about rent and food, she can take care of it.

Overall, I just don't know what to do. I'm frustrated and upset and confused and I think it's about time for a nap.
