need to make more puppy play art i went to another mosh yesterday and it was so fun :3

my main motivation to draw right now is to make something that i actually think would be nice as a sticker/keychain/etc. like ive tried a few times, but then when i get around to finishing im just like "okay but why on earth would you put this on your water bottle/laptop/etc"
i feel like fanart is easier, but its hard for me to imagine people just like my art of my own characters, like it feels too niche. ykwim?

anyways i just got paid so im gonna try and order some stickers/keychains/pins (leaning towards stickers and acrylic pins)
is anyone, by chance, interested in that ... ? I haven't worked out prices or even exactly what art i want to put on the first lot, but if anyone Does want one then lmk and we can work something out! i kinda just like the idea of people having my art, yknow?

ive been using my partners ipad to draw and ive been enjoying it so much more.. the procreate stablizer is so good. also i like the ms paint brush pack he had downloaded! ive been drawing on it a lotttt the past two days

i guess online would be fine, like the idea of selling at a market in person is a lot more interesting to me but i'll have to wait for one of those to roll around (october)
im really trying to polish up some pieces and order some stickers. mostly for fun but i'll post them and maybe sell/send off a few :) but im kind of nervous because none of my art looks sticker-able to me LOL. like some of it does. but when i look at my work it doesnt feel like finished work, it always feels like something is missing or too sloppy, etc etc.
out of curiosity- is there anything ive drawn that would make a good sticker? or some sort if trinkety thing otherwise? like things you would personally buy? (not in a making-a-commitment way, but like is it worth buying?)
I've got a lot of silly ideas, but im also kind of fighting with my brain to stay focused. + a lot of my ideas involve painting, which is something that i thought i would still be good at but. well. yeah. but there ideas are there.
i'm very determined to start up a little side-hustle at some point though. i dont wanna make a living working a retail job forever, i wanna make shit and work for furries

i like to journal in the notebook of my laptop and i always start them off that way
ive been in a really good mood since MFC. i feel silly complaining about it in that journal a few days ago because once i got my foot in the door it just got better and better and tbh i visited the dealers dean like 8-9 different times just to look at everyones art again. every time i go to an art market like that i fantasize about having a stall and all the things i wanna make.... and i really love the idea of being able to share my art with people who will get as happy about it as i get when i buy art from people yknow? today i added a bunch of prints and stuff to my closet door mosaic of cool paper things >:D and honestly i didnt buy as much as i thought i might, but everything i did buy just made me so happyyyy like i got this little crochet dog from birbloom and I BROUGHT HIM ALL OVER THE PLACE HE WAS SO SILLY... and also im still obsessed with this keychain i mentioned before by :clovishusky: + i commissioned two people to draw arber and they were both so cute <3
but yeah basically i had a really good time after i actually did talk to some people and loosened up and got used to being there.
but yeah basically i am feeling very inspired to make things and not just the same things over and over again yay! love drawing furry porn, love drawing arber, but ive been bored of my art for a while and ive felt very uninspired. i guess you need to go more places than your house and your job to find inspiration sometimes. bleh. i really want to make little trinkety things like keychains and pins and whatnot. and clay figures! my partner and i bought clay on our way back home after he got these cool clay pins. i used to do a lot of clay stuff when i was younger. also i wanna make stickers. i love stickers. i feel like making physical art that i can share with people actually makes me think about what kind of art makes me happy to have + what kind of art i want to make other people happy to have. like i got this awesome animal jam pin from kaigacon (I LOVE IT) + i recently saw A FUCKING ANIMAL JAM THEMED RAVE which is crazy and i wish i was there.... anyways im making some animal jam stickers yall, im gonna give some to my friends and entertain the idea of having a stall at a pop culture-y art market one day. i also wanna make stickers of the werewolf i drew.
anyways ive sort of taken a long time to type this and i forget what my point was but yeah expect more activity from me!

i feel the need to sort of take back what i said before .. i was having a hard time .. vut my partner and i ended up meeting a few cool people and ive been less anxious to chat to random people so ive been having a nicer time :3
was rough starting off tho 😭

this is my wife and i's second day at the con!
honestly its not really what i expected. i thought it would a more chill atmosphere and that it would be easy to talk to people and find people to meet up with. most of the people that wanna meet up with me just wanna fuck. and everyone already has friends. it feels like you need a suit if you want people to acknowledge you at all. im feeling very pessimistic about this lol. im not very good at randomly talking to strangers either. like i go up to people and compliment them or point out that we both like a show/artist/whatever and theyre like uhuh thanks and get busy with something else. it just feels like you need to already know people or have a fursuit to enjoy this! i wish i only did one day and didnt pay $700 for a hotel here. ughhh.
but anyway. its not all bad. i had fun dancing drunk by myself last night. got some silly art at the dealers den. and being in a hotel is nice anyway. i also like being able to walk around with a tail and collar and paws and whatnot. its just sad that the atmosphere is not very welcoming to first timers and there's not a lot of activities that arent just "everyone who likes this go to this room" you know? im here with my partner and i like that we get to do this together and see what furry cons are all about, but we're just not having fun lol... we're just going to the city to walk around because its so depressing being here and not being able to do anything. we're just sitting in the hotel while people have fun downstairs. and if im not in the hotel room with him im just walking around the lobby looking for opportunities to talk to people (everyone is already too busy)
anyways. thats all. just really disappointed because i thought this would be different. :(
we're here tomorrow too, theres a few cool events and panels i wanna go to. maybe itll get better. idk.

i dont actually talk on furaffinity much but sometimes i feel envious of people who's profiles look "alive" and active idk.
us and the wife are going to MFC soon!!!!!!!!!!! its next week im so excited!!!!! ive got two weeks off of work too. :))) im so fucking hyped. we also went to an art market/convention last weekend which got me so fuckingg exciteeddd for the BIG convention. unfortunately i do not have any sort of mask or fursuit head of arber :( but i do have a tail and paws and a cute bargain bin pup muzzle. im excited to dress nice and go to all of the panels and hopefully meet some people.
is anyone following me going? i wanna meet up with people.

also ive started working on a little story for arber and associates. which pretty much just mirrors our life in some aspects. see i was struggling to do that for a while because i get this really weird anxiety about it. weird anxiety where im like. if i write a story for my headmates character then that means *I* am responsible for them and i can be judged for their actions in the story. which is a really strange idea that just genuinely ruined my creativity for a while.
anyways, there's no specific structure or main plot, just arber's life story and what i want to draw of it. + amos and oslo are in the story too. and a few other characters i drew but never really used for anything.
ive updated a few character bios on toyhouse but its a WIP

anyways yeah its good fun, i hope you guys are doing good :)
