-Pop songs will be played out the ass. The first trailer will most likely have Mario being woken up by an alarm clock playing a pop song cover done horribly by someone I've never heard of
-Fart jokes and Marios bare ass. Probably multiple closeups on the male character's asses. But not the female characters asses because that would be wrong and obscene and objectifying women
-Princess Peach will be a strong independent woman who don't need no rescuin.' She probably won't even wear her princess dress. They'll probably put her in pants or something and take her boobs away because boobs objectify women
-Jack Black, although not a great choice for Bowser, will be the only one who gives a shit. I guess with the rest of the cast he's the only one who makes sense.
-Seth Rogan will do his dumb laugh as always
-Dance Party depicting someone doing a stupid fucking Fortnite dance. Most likely half way through or at the very end
-Mario's actual voice actor will probably show up as the real Mario from an alternate universe. Really fucking STUPID that they didn't just go with him to begin with. No, we need REAL celebrities to put asses in those theater seats. Why would anyone wanna see a Mario movie without celebrities they recognize!?
-Most of the movie will take place in a city full of product placements despite only ONE game having a city setting
-At the end of the 2nd act, everyone will get mad at each other and go their separate ways until making up going into the 3rd act, because that's what the plot structure looks like on every cookie-cutter movie index
-Mario eats mushrooms. Haha! Funny funny drug reference, but not TOO much cuz this is a movie for babies, don't forget
-I'll HATE the movie and so will pretty much everyone else. But it will still get a shitty sequel because everyone went to go see it anyway and it made too much God damn money back.

What The Hell is Wrong with PayPal Right Now?
General | Posted 4 years agoIs anyone elses "Transfer Money" button broken on PayPal? I just got paid today for a commission and when I went to click on the transfer button, all it does is reload the page. I don't have the app on my phone and I'm now worried that PayPal is forcing people to download it if they want their money because I looked it up and other people have said that they fixed the problem by downloading the app. I DON'T want another useless fucking app on my phone waking me up in the middle of the night with notifications!
What the hell should I do!? I'll check back tomorrow I guess?
UPDATE: I got frustrated and downloaded the app and BIG SHOCK! It worked immediately.... Fuck you PayPal! Apps are dogshit. I'm sorry you all love them, but I'm so sick of having all these useless fucking things on my phone! I was quite content with logging in on my desktop so if I lose my fucking phone, some asshole doesn't have direct access to my GOD DAMN BANK ACCOUNT!!

I'm Back
General | Posted 4 years agoThe vacation was just as awful as I thought it was going to be... only it was somehow even worse because the hotel that we were staying at caught on fire. I'll save you all 4 hours of reading and myself 12 hours of typing and just give a list of event:
CONS:
-No Car rental despite making reservations months in advance
-Hotel also fucked up on the reservations and we didn't get the original room we were promised.
-Dad is still an asshole
-Brother is still an asshole
-Brother's friends are ALL assholes
-Drunken fighting with the groomsman, mostly involving my brother and his best man.
-Was stuck sleeping in the same room with Dad as he was shitfaced drunk off his ass every night. On the final night he was crawling around on the floor trying to find the mini fridge and spilled everything inside on himself because he needed his fucking chocolate milk. That's right, a grown ass man in his 50s who drinks chocolate milk every night at midnight....
-Half of the wedding guests were cousin fuckers. That's not a crack at Tennessee by the way, I mean there were LITERALLY people at this wedding who married their cousins. No joke.
-Bitten by multiple bugs. The bugs in general actually, Jesus Christ!
-Entire Hotel filled up with smoke on the night before the wedding. We had to evacuate at 2am. Fire department didn't even show up. Staff told us that the lint in their turbine engine sized dryer caught fire and that it "just happens sometimes."
-My Dad said some pretty hurtful shit to me on this trip that made me take a walk into the woods and NOT want to come back. I obviously did come back though.
-My Dad is STILL an asshole!
-and to top it all off, a shitty family who let their 10 kids run around screaming that was on our flight to Tennessee was somehow ALSO on our return flight to California!!
-Longest actual vacation I've ever been on in my life and it was a complete nightmare....
PROS:
-The grub was great. Tasty Southern food and smokey barbeque. And it's cheap!
-Spent most of the rides in the back of a pickup truck. It's legal there. So that was fun.
-$2.89 was the most expensive gas price. Show that to someone who lives in California and their jaw will hit the floor.
-Uhhhh... Nashville was fun? I bought a shot glass.
-Miles and miles of corn as we drove through Kentucky. (I think that's a pro???)
-Cracker Barrel was nice.
There is SOOOO much more to these five days of misery. I'd compare it to eating a shit covered banana split. Sure, there was plenty of things in it that I enjoyed... but at the end of the day, you're still eating shit. The nightmare is over. It's hopefully just a really bad memory mow

General | Posted 4 years agoSo tomorrow at 2pm, my family and I will be embarking on our not fun adventure to Tennessee for my brother's wedding. I know that nobody is in a massive hurry to get a hold of me, but just in case, know that I will be gone for 5 days and be back Monday night/Tuesday early morning. I'll still check in every so often but I definitely won't be posting anything during this time.

Approved For Another Year!

So despite 2020, Covid, my mom losing her job, me quitting my job and being out of work for 5 months, my dad breaking his arm and being out of work, AND helping my brother out with his stupid wedding I don't wanna be a part of... we STILL managed to pay our rent on time. I don't know how the hell we did it, but we did. Therefore, the Landlord thinks we're the BEST tenants he's ever had, so we've been reinstated for another year! Which is great, because I still LOVE this house. So much so that it breaks my heart that we'll need to give it up at some point. But for right now, we have it again until next September. We'll see where we all are then.

Redbubble Keeps Taking Down My Designs....

I don't know what's been going on with Redbubble lately, but they have been hitting my shop HARD. I use to have over 100 designs, now I'm down to 90. It's like every couple of days now that I get a takedown notice in my email. They've specifically been targeting the Splatoon ones and yeah, I get it. That $0.11 I get from a sale is $0.11 that Nintendo misses out on.... That's $0.11 that could have gone to one of their shitty shovelware games on the Switch's Marketplace after all. But what's weird to me is that they're specifically targeting the "OC Splatoon Designs." Not that they're all that original, but if ya think about it... a Splatoon character is just a chibi anime human with tentacles for hair. Does Nintendo OWN tentacle hair!?
But the even more weird part is that all the designs of Pearl and Marina have been untouched. The OCs at least needed some sort of imagination, but the two actual characters from the game, yeah those ones are just fine, I guess? For now anyway. Which brings me to the point of the entire journal; (aside from just shilling my merchandise again) if any of these designs are to your liking, PLEASE buy them while you still can. I'm not going to put up a fight for these and potentially risk going to court over a side gig I receive pennies for. That would be insane.
So if you wouldn't mind, give the top link a click and gander through because they might not be there for much longer, especially the Rule 34 folder. I doubt they'll delete any of my personal OCs but who knows? Maybe I'll get a takedown for Wolf at some point. Like, "Hey, ya know your Wolf character with the really stupid and bland name? An Upcoming Vacation I DO NOT Want to Take
General | Posted 4 years agoSo from 9/23 - 9/27, I will be attending my brother's wedding in Tennessee. I don't want to go, but I agreed to be a Groomsman... and it's super important that the whole family be there according to him and my mom. After all, this will be the REAL wedding. Not like the first wedding, where a week after he was released from prison, he Vegas Wed some broad he met on "plenty of fish," got her pregnant, and then 2 years later after he got back on his feet, divorced, so he could get back with his high school Fling who he is now marrying for real. But what do I know about true love? (Are you starting to see why I don't like my brother?)
If this were a vacation with my friends, I'd be thrilled. We'd look up some good travel destinations, interesting places to eat, maybe places to buy a few souvenirs. But no... I'm going with my family. And every time I go places with my family... my dad doesn't want to go anywhere that doesn't serve Bud Light. So I'm sure we'll just do what we did on our last vacation. Find a bar that serves Bud Light, and sit there ALLLL day.... What a fun treat. How about some interesting food joints? Nope! Family is too fucking picky... so we'll probably be eating at McDonalds and Denny's.
And then there's the wedding. Not sure how much money my brother pumped into this, but I'm sure it's going to be very white trash. And I'll be reminded over and over again by him and his friends I don't know that I'm still alone.... "How come YOU haven't found Ms. Right, Ota!?" "When are YOU going to give Mom grandchildren, Ota!?" Just like they did at another similar wedding involving my brother's FIRST wife. Thank you. Thank you for the constant reminder that my panic attack level fear of women and general distrust of people will forever sabotage any romance potential for me and that I'm going to die alone. As a teen, I thought this shit would just get easier with age. But if you have a massive fear of heights as a teen and don't do anything about it by the time you're an adult... wow! Big shock! You're STILL afraid of heights. How about that....
So yeah, this isn't going to be a vacation for me. More like a hostage situation I consented to. I cannot wait to be dead. That's not me being facetious... death can seriously not come quick enough.

Life Update: Good News and Bad News

It's been almost three months now since I started my new job working at Transplants (which is a brewery for those who don't know) and I still freakin' love my job. It started small. I was only working two days cleaning, but I've been promoted twice already since then to also help brew and also be backup for our events since covid restrictions have been lifted. So I clean on Monday and Tuesday, brew on Wednesday, and barback during our events (concerts, comedy shows, etc.) I get along with everyone there, and everyone says that they like me and like working with me. So that makes me feel really good. I finally feel like I'm a part of something as apposed to just being a fucking cog in the machine that can be easily replaced. I don't think I've ever been treated so kindly within a working environment in my LIFE until now. So here's hoping I keep going strong for years to come. Did I mention that I get free beer and food from the food trucks too? That still feels so sweet to brag about!
Bad News:
Now onto the part that I'm still pretty fucking beat up and depressed over. Sometime earlier this week, someone in the house stole $700 from my mom's dresser. There is currently 7 people living in this house and 3 visitors for the month. So 9 suspects, technically 8, because I sure as shit didn't do it. I'm very fucking upset about this entire situation. We bought a safe and now I'm going to start locking my door too. This house is suppose to be a team. Now I'm back to not trusting anyone. The worst part is that whoever did it KNOWS we always let shit go. Forgive and forget. Well I don't want to forgive and forget this time, but of course everyone else has just moved the fuck on from it. We're not in fucking high school anymore. There is NO reason why this shit should still be happening. What's even more insulting is that the money was being saved for my brother's wedding in September that I don't even want to go to. I gave my mom $800 for rent next moth to make up for it. I can only hope that whoever took it feels really fucking bad.
That's it for me atm. Art has slowed down thanks to this funk I've been in, but I'll hopefully be out of it soon since there's literally nothing I can do about it.... How have you guys been doing?

Finally Got a New Job!!
General | Posted 4 years agoStarting May 24th, I will officially be working at my favorite brewery, "Transplants." Specifically the Tasting Room Support Staff. Cleaning, lifting, bussing tables, and supplying tasty beers to thirsty customers. I'm super stoked as I know that NO job could be worse than working for American Freight. The only thing that I'm kind of worried about is that I know you're not suppose to mix work with pleasure... and Transplants has been my favorite hangout spot with my friends for over 5 years now. So here's hoping I don't grow to hate it like almost everything else in my life, like drawing and video games.... Wish me luck! ^^
My Thoughts on Mortal Kombat (2021)

I don't think it's better than the first, but it's a thousand times better than Mortal Kombat: Annihilation that's for sure. I'd say it falls right in the middle. Had a really good start with Scorpion and Sub-Zero's clan rivalry past, then get's weird after introducing the main character who was NOT Liu Kang btw... but a new character named Cole Young who's Scorpion's descendant. I've never heard of him. For some bizarre reason they did this weird Highlander bullshit where if you have a dragon mark on your body, it means that you are a "Chosen One" who gets to fight in Mortal Kombat. Not only that, but as Liu Kang explains it, you get a sick super power as well called a "Kana." This is why Liu Kang can shoot fireballs and Sub-Zero can summon ice. The catch is that if you kill someone with the mark, you get the mark and your own "Kana" to go with it.
Ya really didn't need such a heavy explanation as to why mortals have super powers. Also Liu Kang doesn't even show up until the second act of the movie. Now that I think about it... this movie doesn't really follow a 3 act structure. It just kinda jumps all around, super quick. This happens, then this happens, then his happens, and it's like whoa, slow the fuck down! But Even though alotta stuff happens, it also somehow feels like nothing happens. And that's the hardest part to explain. This movie is both boring and hard to follow. They picked some of the weirdest characters too. Ya got the main cast from MK1 except Johnny Cage or Kitana for some reason. Then our villians are Kabal (who was cool), Milleena (who looked dumb), General Reiko?, Natara from Deadly Alliance, Shang Tsung who I feel like they only put in because oh, we need one main boss, but the main boss for this movie was Sub-Zero. Which is weird because Sub-Zero wasn't even really a bad guy in the games. He was just part of a clan that hated Scorpions clan. Oh yeah and Goro was in it for like 5 minutes too. There's no tournament in this movie either. They just train for a bit and then the bad guys show up and they're all like, "Kill everyone!" I kept thinking back to the first movie and how much more organized the story was. This shit is all over the place, but it's saving grace is how good and bloody the fights are. They felt like actual Mortal Kombat fights, especially the Scorpion/Sub-Zero fight. Man... if they could have just combine the story from the first movie with the fights and Sub-Zero/Scorpion sub-plot, they'd have a perfect movie.
Over all, it was decent, aside from how stupid the unnecessary "Chosen One Kana" crap was.... NOT worth risking Covid, but if ya got HBO Max I'd say give it a watch. Oh and most importantly... they DID include the theme song.
I don't think it's better than the first, but it's a thousand times better than Mortal Kombat: Annihilation that's for sure. I'd say it falls right in the middle. Had a really good start with Scorpion and Sub-Zero's clan rivalry past, then get's weird after introducing the main character who was NOT Liu Kang btw... but a new character named Cole Young who's Scorpion's descendant. I've never heard of him. For some bizarre reason they did this weird Highlander bullshit where if you have a dragon mark on your body, it means that you are a "Chosen One" who gets to fight in Mortal Kombat. Not only that, but as Liu Kang explains it, you get a sick super power as well called a "Kana." This is why Liu Kang can shoot fireballs and Sub-Zero can summon ice. The catch is that if you kill someone with the mark, you get the mark and your own "Kana" to go with it.
Ya really didn't need such a heavy explanation as to why mortals have super powers. Also Liu Kang doesn't even show up until the second act of the movie. Now that I think about it... this movie doesn't really follow a 3 act structure. It just kinda jumps all around, super quick. This happens, then this happens, then his happens, and it's like whoa, slow the fuck down! But Even though alotta stuff happens, it also somehow feels like nothing happens. And that's the hardest part to explain. This movie is both boring and hard to follow. They picked some of the weirdest characters too. Ya got the main cast from MK1 except Johnny Cage or Kitana for some reason. Then our villians are Kabal (who was cool), Milleena (who looked dumb), General Reiko?, Natara from Deadly Alliance, Shang Tsung who I feel like they only put in because oh, we need one main boss, but the main boss for this movie was Sub-Zero. Which is weird because Sub-Zero wasn't even really a bad guy in the games. He was just part of a clan that hated Scorpions clan. Oh yeah and Goro was in it for like 5 minutes too. Omega Mart is an artist collaboration ARG setup at Area 15 in Las Vegas. It's coincidentally similar to what my next comic of Nightmare Inc. is going to be about. Too bad I take so long on comics because that would have been some pretty cool timing. It's basically an SCP style grocery store that has a bunch of weird glitchy shit happening in it that sells products that nobody in their right mind would ever buy. Think of it as a modern day haunted house without the things that make haunted houses stupid and lame (Assholes in masks jumping out to scare you.) A Youtuber I follow did an entire tour on it and I definitely wanna check it out someday.

Mainly because he's the only character I can draw without a reference picture, but also because he's a representation of myself and self-insert pornography is how I cope with how much I hate myself. But I've been curious for a while now, are you guys tired of me drawing him?

I Would Like Some Advice Please.
General | Posted 5 years ago18 days into unemployment and I'm already having more problems that I DON'T need. Fist of all, my car is already acting up. One day while driving, the steering wheel decided to unalign itself and now it's cocked lightly to the right and the ESC light came on. On a surface level, nothing is wrong. It doesn't veer in any direction or effect the steering in any way other than having a cocked steering wheel while driving straight. But it's enough of a problem to make me mad because I don't know what the hell went wrong. I took it to 4 different places asking them if they had any idea what the problem was. Every place was just like, "Yeah, I'll have to charge you to diagnose it first, wouldn't wanna suggest how to fix it without getting paid first!" My dad (who is a mechanic) said it was my front tires. I took my car to 3 different tire places, none of which had my tires used. So I had to take it to the original tire shop that my dad said I got ripped off by in the first place. Replaced the front tires, and BIG SHOCK, it wasn't the tires and the problem is still there.
On top of that, my neighbor across the street, who's usually pretty cool with me had a fucking Karen meltdown about me parking across the street because there's oil splotches in the street. Like dude! I just got the fuckin' thing 3 months ago! Also, it's IN THE STREET!! You don't own the fuckin' street, dipshit! As it turns it, it WAS my car leaking. I put a box underneath it and checked this morning and sure enough, it had a little puddle under it. So fuck... guess I CAN'T say this is my first car without an oil leak. My dad is hopefully going to take it into his shop at some point... but he's been saying "I'll do it tomorrow" for 5 days now....
So yeah, still no luck finding a job, go figure. Been filling out applications online and I also don't qualify for unemployment, so no government handouts either. This is where the I NEED ADVICE part comes in. How the hell can I make ends meet? I have rent saved up for 4 months, but that's gonna run out eventually. I'm very grateful for the commissions I've been getting, thank you all so much, but sadly I live in California... which means I'd need to be pumping out at least 5 to 6 comic commissions a month to sustain my livability. These are some alternative options I've come up with.

And what counts as a fair perk that doesn't require locking content behind a paywall?

Do Animations Even Exist on FA Anymore?
General | Posted 5 years agoSo I picked a hellova bad time to learn how to make MP4s. Since Chrome keeps insisting I shut off flash, I don't know if FA is going to move forward with this? It was a massive pain in the ass. First I downloaded Audacity just to try it out. It edits audio only. Then I downloaded Firealpaca, it edits pictures and gifs only. So I downloaded Windows Movie Maker. It was no use to me because it puts a big watermark across the finished vid cuz I downloaded the wrong one. So I deleted it and downloaded the one that's free from the app store on Windows, Movie Maker 10. It edits videos and pictures, but the shortest duration of photo edits is one full second, which makes them turn out looking like a fucking slideshow! They won't let you use gifs for some stupid reason so you need to convert them to MP4s. But the MP4 has to be over at least a full second long or it doesn't work! So I kept saving different FPS' until I finally got one that worked. I edited some sounds from some hentai webms I have and dropped them in. It's completely off sync, but I finally got done what I was trying to do for, no shit, FIVE HOURS!!
"Wheel of Morality, turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson that we should learn." And the moral of todays story is... Free video editing software sucks dick. But at least it's free I guess? General | Posted 5 years agoI wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes. I felt really bad and couldn't stop crying on New Years Eve until I dehydrated myself and slept for 12 hours. The following day I did what I do best and wallowed in self-pity. Today I'm trying to brush myself off and move on, but I have a hard time letting things go as I have a very guilty conscience, even though there's nothing to feel guilty about. My family was very supportive of my decision to quit and said not to worry about it. They're all super glad I did too because this job was really taking a toll on both my mental and physical health.
What hurts the most though is that I was with this job for 6 years now, I was the longest surviving employee and was there even before the store opened. In my head I thought I'd get at least one message like, "Sorry to see you go, or thanks for holding on for so long." But no. This was just a job. 2 years, 6 years, 20 years. Doesn't matter. We're all just numbers they'll replace. I'm still trying to put it behind me, so I'm taking a week off for some breathing time, then dusting off the old resume and going job hunting.
Until then I'll be focusing on art and bead commissions so if ya really want one let me know. Really hope things get better soon and I get out of this painful mindset.
