RENT PANIC COMMISSIONS help?
General | Posted 16 years agoUhahhaaaaaa!
My rent is due on Wednesday, and I've come up short. A have a part-time job but I don't get paid until Friday, and pretty much the reason for my money deficit is the two weeks around Christmas and New Years my school closed (I work in the school image library) so I didn't get paid for two weeks. I guess being a tight-wad could only get me so far (I've been living off of rice and beans and miso soup for the past few weeks...which is probably pretty healthy but I'm running out). D:
Luckily I'm only about $20 short, but it's still money I don't have that I need.
So uh...even just one commission would save my ass.
I am selling some of my recent paintings (among other things) on my Etsy.
But I'm also offering wood portrait commissions for $25.

Etsy and Happy New Year!
General | Posted 16 years agoHappy New Year everyone! I've sort of fallen off and died from the internet for a while (which happens a lot sometimes), one of my resolutions this year is to not be so elusive from the internet. This semesters been difficult, but i get to graduate in a year (next December!). Hopefully the job search won't be too scary.
I'm DEFINITELY going to be offering commissions very very soon (in a few days, ideally), but I have to scan in some example works before I get started (I'd really rather work traditionally than digitally).
BUT! In the meantime, I've put some past original traditional work up on my Etsy page, so please take a look and pass the word! Money is very tight because of the holidays (not because of heavy spending, but my workplace actually closes down for two weeks!), so anything helps!
I hope 2010 is amazing for everyone! I'm going to try to start this first week off with lots and lots of art projects!

I'm new!
General | Posted 16 years agoHello everyone, and thank you for the warm welcome! I really appreciate it!
I'm just starting another semester of school right now, so I'm a little all over the place. But yeah, once stuff settles a bit more i'll be hopefully continuing drawing the first 151 Pokemon, among other things. Happy to be here, and looking forward to it!
