Important: I have swippidy swapped my liner again to be something in between my original smooth brush and the newer rough one that can be seen in my last few posts. You're free to request the rougher lines or my newer brush

Posted 2 years agoHey I should have posted this sooner but I've just been super overwhelmed as of late so I guess I'm getting to this now, but February commissions have been canceled(now that it's mid-way through March lol). I've been dealing with some IRL stuff and thought I could eventually power through and just get them done, but I've come to the realization that it's just too much to handle for me rn. I'll be taking the rest of this month to just figure my shit out so it won't be until next month before I even start anything.
However for those who want to keep their slots, because I'm determined to do them just currently unable, I'll be doing the seven current slots separated into chunks of two or three and might do some giveaways as an overall apology for just not being as active as I'd like. We'll see though.

It's a more rough texture but if you want the smooth line I usually use please put that in your form so I don't have to redo the line-art. This will be the last time I'm adding this to a commission post but I'll still be willing to use the smooth liner if you prefer c:
One other thing is that this time I will not be closing the form link after the picking date. If you ever want to commission me, even if I'm not actively open, you're free to throw your request in and you'll be in the basket for the next cycle.

Posted 3 years agoFriendly announcement that I will not be doing commissions next month(and/or in December) because I'll be out of state and away from my set up for most of it :'^) So aside from some personal pieces leading up to the holidays I will be going silent until the new year. Like a dum lil bear going into hibernation for winter uwu
I can sometimes be reached through my discord OutofLuckArt#6258 and if you have a real need to get in early before my January slots are open/filled I've left my form open here so you're free to drop your commission ideas as you like and I can get back to you when I start opening slots.

Posted 3 years agoI'm doing something different for my June commissions! There will be no slot cap nor will there be any restrictions on size. Instead I'm doing a grab bag sort of deal where I shove as many commissions as I think I can handle into one month. This does, unfortunately mean, I might not get to everyone BUT I think it'd be overall better and gives more people a chance than my previous “first come first served” with limited slots.
The other change is that my prices have increased a bit. The bases are more costly but the add-ons have actually reduced a bit so I think it all works out. Please be sure to check over my new ToS and Prices before submitting a form.

Posted 3 years agoI just found out that discord now more easily allows you to swap between accounts :D The previous tedium was one of the reasons I didn't have an active alternative because it made me want to pewish to swap between them uwu

Posted 4 years agoThanks to all people who commissioned me <3 It was a real chill experience and I enjoyed drawing everyone's characters :D Def got some new tricks after all this and I feel very good about doing another round of commissions next month .u. I'll be starting next month's commissions a week or so into the month for waist-ups slots. I think what I'd like to do (and hopefully will accomplish) is one Valentine's YCH, a character auction, and a raffle as well. So this means the waist-ups might be limited to 2-3 slots so this is your heads up if you want to snag one.

I really need to get some sort of mouse-pad support thing I think. Maybe find my wrist brace wherever I threw it last :'^)

Posted 4 years agoHey guys, I'm sorry I've been off the reservation for several months now, but I'll be heading home sometime next week(hopefully). After I get settled though, I'm going to be more open for slots with a consistent schedule so that I don't get immediately overwhelmed the second I post the slots lol.
So keep an eye out sometime in the middle of this month, my first slots are going to be busts and maybe a YCH :D Once I get started I'm probably going to post a slot schedule for when I'm going to open for different commission types so be on the lookout for that <3

Posted 4 years agoHey guys, I am so sorry about this cause I know people were really hyped that I opened commissions, but I'm just not doing so hot rn. I really want to get into doing comms regularly, but idk I just feel really overwhelmed right now.
I'll be sending notes(or discord messages) to the people who signed up, but I'll also put their names here so that I'll know who to message before I open slots again. I think in the future I'll be doing size-specific slots so I can start out with little things and move up to the big ones so instead of every other month I might just do straight up monthly commissions so that might work out.

Posted 4 years agoHey all, I’m scribbling up more refined Terms of Service and I’ve gotten to a point where I’m not sure what I should do. I figure it’d be best to ask instead of just going with one or the other and risk being rude to people who want art from me.
So my plan is this: I’m going to be open for commissions once every other month. I’m going to up the number of slots, but they’ll be size-locked so that I’m not faced with the prospect of several large pieces a month. For the months I’m not doing commissions I’m going to be doing YCH, Raffles, Auctions, etc. along with other personal pieces.
My current conundrum: There are a lot of people on the reserve list for this month. More people are in there than my active slots. I’ve been playing around with the idea to make the reserve list into a waitlist. How I figure it’d work would be like- when the new commission month rolls around, I will go down the waitlist and shoot off notes to the people at the top of it until my slots are full. They will have 48hrs to respond and claim a spot, or else they will be removed from the list until they message me again for a spot.
However, this does mean that someone on the waitlist could have to wait for over two months to get a slot, then miss my note, and lose their spot, which seems really unfair but I wouldn’t want to have to put my commissions on hold when there are other people down the list or new people who want a commission from me.
An alternative would just be to keep the reserve list a reserve list for that month, then wipe the slate clean the next time I open commissions which also seems pretty unfair to those that might not be awake, or at home, or are slow typers and miss their chance to commission me.
It was recommended that once someone gets a commission from me in one month, the next month they’re on CD(cooldown) from getting another one. But that doesn’t really solve the problem so much as it just makes me feel like a jerk.
tl;dr I’m overcomplicating my commissions as I try to be as accommodating as I can be. Do I tell people to wait in line, or clean slate each commission cycle?
Should I make this, like, a poll? Is that too much for like the four people that actively read my journals? :'^)
