A game like NWN2 or the Dragon Age expansion that is a top down or isometric tabletop style RPG where you can gradually build up your own castle/keep through the campaign... but that allows non-standard races like cat people.

I had high hopes for the pathfinder kingmaker since there's an official non-standard cat race in the pathfinder ruleset, but from what I can tell only the standard races seem to be accounted for and I've heard the actual castle building part feels like tacked on crap =/

I'm a bit behind on posting things, faving, etc., we got our other unspayed female cat fixed back on Monday and I've been holed up in the bedroom taking care of her ever since (she just typed a bunch of stuff on the keyboard while I was writing this lol).

Some things are a lot easier and faster for me to do on my desktop so I've been putting them off until I'm free of the bedroom and this little snuggle monster lol

So we brought her into the vet today and were told it would be $1,000 for the procedure Orz x.x

We were expecting maybe 2-300 since it's basically a spay, this brings the total bill to ~$1,500 for this feral we adopted 2 years ago that now has this extremely rare infection issue >.<

Waiting for test results, one of our kitties just started showing some very worrying symptoms so we rushed her to the emergency 24 hour vet. Naturally with the emergency pricing on Christmas eve this is already shaping up to be pretty pricey (like 500+ not including any treatment), sooo probably won't be buying any more art for a while as I pay off this visit and her treatment x.x

I've got some time off work, and now my family obligations are mostly wrapped up so I expect I'll be around (when I'm not spending time with the wife or gaming intensely lol), but I wanted to make sure to post this before everyone disappeared into their own family stuff completely or I forget haha!

Welp, can't say I didn't predict this back around the time the site was bought out, NSFW content clearly just didn't match up with the corporate interests. Every move since then has only re-enforced that with every major change to the site implicitly or explicitly targeted at bleeding out or stamping out NSFW content without taking the step to straight up ban it. That said, it will be the death of the site, even most of the SFW blogs are run by people who are doing it on the side while they browse porn lol

I am saddened for the fate of my blogs, I put a lot of effort into them for no gain of my own other than the satisfaction of knowing I was creating something that would help others find quality content and maybe connect with the content creators to everyone's benefit. I had about 3K total users between my 2 largest NSFW blogs, so it's sad to see that go and the impact it will have on everyone.

I'm not sure yet if I'll try to rebuild elsewhere, it's a pretty daunting task, but we'll see. I suspect everyone will land on twitter, but it's just not as good for things like stories and short story format caption posts for photos/gifs/etc.

I've also heard of pillowfort.io and are.na, but I'm not really familiar with those. How about you all? Any thoughts on where everyone will land after their exodus? Is there some big userbase NSFW friendly place I'm not aware of?

Characters like Spider Man and the X-men were a big part of my childhood. In more recent times the Marvel movies continue to be a huge part of my life and the culture of our fan base.
