I let Ilse *my 2 year old German Sheppard* out so she could run and do her buisness. After she was out for a while I flashed the porch light for her to come in because she's deaf and calling her doesn't work. I noticed that she appeared to be strutin her stuff when she walked through the door and she dropped something at my feet as she passed by. It was a young possum and looked dead. I looked it over and didn't see any injuries. I set it outside the door and watched it through the glass. After a while it raised it's head, looked around then walked away in a hurry. I gave her a hotdog because she's a good dog.

My girlfriend is out of town attending a family funeral and I've been sitting at home alone this evening while she stays with family. It made me think of funerals I've attended in the past, especially of a certain young lady that I was engaged to be married to years ago. She lost her life in a car wreck. She was born and raised in Lompoc and when her father retired as a prison guard out there somewhere they all moved to this area because her mother was from here. At some time or another she told them that if anything ever happened to her that she wanted to be creamated and her ashes spread in the ocean near there and they carried out her wishes. I'm happy that her wishes were carried out but feel bad that I could never visit the place where she is. I feel I need to go out there and basically say bye. As long a trip that would be I would like to do more than one thing while out there. I may go to Califur one year then swing by before heading home. I may be wrong but I don't think there is that much distance between the two places.

I've been seeing a woman for just over a month now. I got word earlyer today that I have to work this weekend and cannot go to a meet that I was hoping to go to.Job gets in the way a lot, but at least I have one during these times. Oh well I have F3 to look forward too in a few weeks.

I spent the day hangin out with a one of my old racing buddies and his nephew, we were talking about how expensive racing has become, and about building his nephew an enduro car. We talked about our old enduro driving days and how much fun it was and cheap, because an enduro car is just a stripped down car with a roll cage and safty equipment *no performance parts allowed*. We read the rules and found out that they had dropped the rule saying that if you have ran the higher classes you were not allowed to drive an enduro car. We called the track promoter to confirm that it was not an oversight, and he confirmed that they did away with that rule. We went to another friend who has a large car lot and each bought a car from his repos and cars he took trade in that was cosmetically challenged. I bought an 89 Mercury Marquis and they each bought an 89 and a 90 crown victoria Ford. We all split up and chose our cars seperatly and they are all basically the same car. We know good cars when we see one.

Well Thanksgiving is over, and I had to work it. Because I had to work the holiday I now have a 3 day weekend. Oddly enough, I have a decent amount of cash in my pocket considering I get paid every other week and this is an off week. But there is absolutely nothing going on, so I am just sitting around twittling my thumbs looking for something to do. Of course there is stuff going on next weekend in Moore Ok. but I'm not yet sure I can get that day off yet. We have a new guy at work and if I can get him trained well enough to handle the weekend by himself, I can go.
