Deviantart & Extras
Posted 10 years agoHey peeps :)
Just a quick one to say that A) I'm still alive and B) You guys and gals should check out my Deviantart page. I upload things there about as infrequently as I do here, but I'll be doing a few things over there that I won't be adding over here - namely, a 100 Theme Challenge that I was "challenged" to around 3 years ago, that I've just gotten to starting -- And I'll be using characters from Not Quite Human and the world in which it is set to do it! You never know, there might even be some behind-the-scenes bits that I couldn't get to fit in the main story.
I'll be uploading the first one in the near future (Soon followed by Not Quite Human Chapter 4!) so feel free to check it out at the link below! :)

Quick Update
Posted 11 years agoYou guys seem to like Chapter 1 and 2 of Not Quite Human, so I thought I'd drop you an update on Chapter 3:
It's back from preliminary beta reading, and the corrections have been reviewed! :D (I've added a couple of bits here and there as well...)
Now, all I've gotta do is send it back to the beta reader, go through any final reviews, and then I can convert it to .pdf and upload it :)
Won't be long now!

Time to get Started
Posted 11 years agoHello, total lack of followers! ;)
I've taken the important decision to start uploading my fiction work here, as it seems to be having a lot of trouble over on my DeviantArt page.
It's not even offensive or explicit - simply, the .pdf files keep disappearing, meaning that I have to keep uploading them, which is driving me nuts.
With that in mind, I'll have 2 (!) literary submissions coming up in pretty much the immediate future - the first two chapters of my Fur-Fiction, Not Quite Human!
I hope you guys have a good read and like what you see! :)
There will eventually be artwork to go with - but I need to teach myself how to draw, first... So, bear with me on that one.
Anyway, have a good one and happy new year peeps!

I Found the Journals Button!
Posted 11 years agoHey everyone, I'm Ozzy.
Now, I know that probably not many of you will see this, because, well, I have no followers.
Still, nonetheless, I have a question for you all:
Obviously, this is a site dedicated towards drawing Anthropomorphic artwork - something I intend to teach myself, because I'm not a realist and I rather like the style.
Now, I've been doing a bit of research - tutorials and stuff to get me started - and I've noticed that there appear to be two main ways of drawing a furry's footpaws:
- Flat-pawed; More humanoid, with anthropomorphic toes.
- Full-Anthro; Properly-drawn anthropomorphic feet, with the heel sort of half way up the back of the calf, if that makes sense.
The issue I'm having is that I like both styles.
So the question herein is:
Can I use both in the same character universe? Is it considered okay to give certain species - say, feline - the flatter paws, and canine the more animalistic paws? Is that not done? How would, say, footwear work on "proper" anthro paws? If I can't use footwear on "Full-Anthro" paws, would it be weird if, in the next frame, a Furry with humanoid footpaws was wearing sneakers?
Paws seem to be one of those minor major details where drawing Furries is concerned - some can take them or leave them, but to others the paw used in the artwork is almost the defining feature - especially if the rest of the piece, as with what will be my early works, inevitably isn't that great.
But because it's not exactly one of those features that's going to change how the art works in any great amount, I have a bunch of ideas for both styles - literally, the only thing that would change would be footwear, or a lack therein.
I know some of you are going to want to say "Go with what you feel is right, man." But... I have no problem using both styles - except figuring out footwear for "proper" paws could be a pain.
Anyway, this rambled on a bit... If anyone does see this, if you could drop me a few tips or ideas (Me being completely new to this), that would be grand!
Thanks peeps :)
