I am going to be moving out soon! Woo! May 23rd is the projected date to move. We have an OK chunk of money set up for moving, but there are other expenses we're looking at as well. Before we get in there, blinds need to be replaced, we need to buy food, set up our internet and phone service and TV, and it's a lot for us to think about. We've got one more room mate who's going to help out, but we really really need some extra dough for pre-existing bills.
Anyway, I'm gonna be uStreaming for cash! I'm going to be doing quick, toony sketches. $5 will get you a sketch of your character's head. The more you pay though, the more you get! So if you have a few spare dollars, it'd be super rad if you were to donate. I'd appreciate it at the very least, and so would my room mates. ;___;

DUE TO SUPERWEBCAM SUCKING HUGE NADS, I'm not going to be ustreaming. Instead, we'll be hosting a large-scale OC session. Due to the fact that even though this is large scale, oc and hamachi still has its limits so whoever pays gets to play, so to speak. Hamachi info is as follows:

And if you can't get into the oc, that's fine too! I'll still draw for you :D

We're gonna move in to the new place on April 15, so until then everything is pretty much on hold. Sorry! I will resume drawing my fingers off once we are all moved in, but as it is I am boxed in between walls covered in starwars things and fragile breakables, so I'd prefer not to spread my drawing crap out until I have my own space to do so.
And on that note -- People who have not yet recieved your commissions in the mail yet. I HAVE A REQUEST. It is a humble one, but a request nonetheless.
If it is cool with you, would you allow me to take your commissions to AC with me and use them in my portfolio? If you don't want to, Its cool and I totally understand, but if you'd like to let me borrow your stuff for display I'd be really grateful :D And if you're going, you can pick your commissions up at the con! Posted 16 years agoSo I need a new scanner. I can't AFFORD one now, but when it comes to searching for a decent scanner I pretty much just suck at it. Don't worry about it being vista compatible, I have XP now :>
I just need suggestions. What are some good brands? Can anybody suggest specific models if possible? I'm looking for something in a moderate price range (nothing more than like 250-300 if possible) and something that is suited to scan larger pieces? And by large I mean slightly bigger than an 8.5 x 11 :1
When I get into a place in where money is ok, I think I might get myself a new scanner. The one I have right now is horrendous.

A flat-colored, inked and finished picture of your character's head! They're about 300 x 300 px. $5 a pop if anybody is interested!

Okay. So I've been using Photoshop 7 for the longest time. However it's just not cutting it anymore. about half of the brushes I download aren't compatible with that version, it doesn't have features that later versions have, and it's just becoming a waste of space on my HD.
