Trying to help out a friend
Posted 9 years agoA good friend of mine has landed firmly in some financial difficulties and has opened commission for the first time. His art is pretty great, he's really easy to work with and his prices are reasonable, so please, check him out and give him some love!

Paypal Strikes Again (repost)
Posted 10 years agoReposted from my partner,
pappagobbastoppa's page after we had a discussion about paypal finding strangers in the alps.
"So a bit of an update:
Even AFTER using a free Paypal calculator and thinking that we had nothing to worry about, Paypal still commandeered MORE than the same-year calculator said it would take.
What's a man to do except try and re-work his formula?
After we complete the current batch of commissions is completed, what I've realized is that Paypal is still taking an uneven nickel-and-dime chunk out of the commission pricing that we set forth.
(From a $41.50 USD invoice, Paypal took $1.92 from that transaction, leaving $39.58 USD in its wake.)
[After which, I refunded the commissioner his extra $1.50 in the spirit of being a good sport.]
So in the spirit of attempting to gain an evenly-splittable round-numbered two-way cut, I am trying to adjust the pricing accordingly once again.
Again, for anyone currently on the list, your agreed-upon prices will not change. Thank you for your time and business, we love you guys. :3
For a 10-15 page story, The price would be $43.
5-10 pages would be $32,
3-5 pages would be $21.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Sincerely,
PappaGobbastoppa"

Fat Fur Pathfinder 2: This time it's fursonal
Posted 10 years agoHey folks, about a year and a half ago, I had the idea for a fat fur pathfinder campaign.
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5417943/
These last few months,
PappaGobbastoppa and I have been getting rough and tumble with the idea, nailing down a plot outline, recurring villains and actually putting some mechanical stuff into it, including mind alteration, hooray!
Just to refresh your memories, the plot of the campaign is that a parallel plane of Oberson, which is inhabited by fat furs and is fundamentally larger than earthplane, is being overlaid onto Earthplane, transforming all caught in it into their Obersonian counterparts as long as the wave lasts. Our heroes are young adventurers caught in one of the first waves and thus head out to investigate the otherworldly transformation that overcame their town, plunging them headfirst into a battle against an invading army hellbent on absorbing their home plane into their empire.
It'll be serious-business run in Pathfinder, obviously and we're looking for at least three players who are interested in roleplaying. This is not a low interaction game, we're expecting people to be willing to tell good stories with their characters, also, no upper limit for characters.
Bear in mind, this game will probably not happen for a while as Tobi is currently working on maps, enemies and mechanics.
Please comment if this sounds interesting! Would love to hear feedback or questions~ And be sure to tell your friends if you think they might be interested, word of mouth is a powerful thing!

Posted 11 years agoHey guys, Pana the supervillain consultant is participating in an OC tournament on Deviant Art and he needs your votes! I'm up against some jerk named Alice this round and she currently has four more votes than Pana! C'mon guys, are we going to let that stand? No way!

Fat Fur Pathfinder
Posted 12 years agoHey y'all, it's been a while. I was talking to
sammysapphire and we had the idea for a fat furs D&D campaign. Well, he had the idea and I fleshed it out. Basically, the idea is that, parallel to the pathfinder world is a world populated by fat furs. One of them opens a portal to the pathfinder world with the intention of conquest. Little does he realize that he has caused a destabilization in the borders between the two worlds, which causes people in our world to start transforming into fat furs as their world sways and wobbles into ours. These changes aren't permanent, manifesting more like lycanthropy and morphing its victims as the worlds align and dealign, as well as under other conditions. Our heroes are four such victims, questing to close the portal before the destabilization destroys the world.
I plan to run it on the pathfinder system, using a modified skinwalker template for the transformations of our heroes. Having some experience with tabletop rpgs would be nice and I wouldn't mind having a pathfinder mentor who can help me figure out stats and stuff.
I think it'll be played on virtual tabletop, since I've used the system and I like it.
Post below if interested.

X raffle
Posted 12 years agoA contest!
Posted 12 years agoA question for my watchers
Posted 12 years agoSo, I'm planning to get back into writing over the next couple of days, because I'm horrendously bored. What do you guys want to see from me? Or do you guys have any ideas you'd like to see me try my hand at? More fat? More predarap? more digimon? Or something else entirely? Apparently there are 55 of you (0.0), so I'm sure a few of you have opinions.
Gargoyles-what a great show
Posted 13 years agoOMG just finished watching Gargoyles season 2. May be my favorite show ever. Not only does it have gargoyles, it also has TF and pretty ladies. I'd give it a watch, since Disney has most of it streaming for free.
No more broken files!
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, with the help of
spikethecanadianlizard all of my stories are now text on FA! yaaaaaaaaaay so hopefully they'll be more accessable to the masses.
With the Digigirl saga drawing to a close, I've started work on a couple of other stories to indulge my other tastes, so stay tuned for those. And the contest.

Announcement of upcoming events
Posted 13 years agoJust to let you guys know, once I finish the digigirl stuff I'm going to be opening a contest very similar to Spike's, although probably with less entrants because y'know it's me and I don't have a follower base.
Shameless plugs for profit
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, a fellow writer, Spikethecanadianlizard, is having a raffle to promote his story commissions starting soon. Might be worth your time to take a look, he's almost as good a writer as me. XD

Essay up!
Posted 17 years agoOk, I got the essay up, but for some reason it won't open on here. Maybe it's the file type, but the upload said it supported .doc files. Anyway, you have to download it, so make sure you're on a computer with Microsoft word if you want to read it.
Intro
Posted 17 years agoWell, more of an intro to my art style. And work habits. You see, I'm lazy. I have difficulty motivating myself to write or draw more than I'm required to, at least during th school year. However, I will attempt to motivate myself to write some stories when I can on weekends. For instance, this weekend I'm motivating myself to write about Morphids. In an essay. Just to get all the information down before I start using them in stories.
