The idea that sex is unprofitable or unusable as a common topic is absolutely absurd and is only supported via christofascists with groups like GARM and Exodus Cry constantly saying "think of the children!" while they push an agenda of anti sex.

"But Porn isnt profitable! Its too risky!" Do you know how much money Disney could make offering an adult VR game that let you Bang disney characters? They could charge 15 dollars for Nick Wilde and the combined might of horny furries would net them billions overnight.

The idea that adult industry is unprofitable is also simply revisionist history.

I know this is a sore topic but

If you were playing a creature collection style game. Any kind of capumon type thing.
1: How upset do you think would people be if some of the designs had genitals in a non sexual context.(IE: A bull statue type of creature based on the Brazen Bull or that one statue on Wallstreet having balls in its design)
2: How upset would YOU be if some of them had genitals.
3: Would this make the game better or worse in your mind?

COPPA is not a new thing-- in fact, it was passed in 1998.
It is the "Children's Online Privacy Protection Act."
People must verify they are above 18 to do Xchildren below 13 require parental consent to give out information, yadda yadda, this is familiar ground.
The reason why COPPA is important is that YouTube was recently embroiled in a lawsuit with the Federal Trade Commission, because their website has targeted ads that can only be shown to minors if YouTube has collected information on them. So essentially, YouTube doesn't want to take the hit and is shifting liability to its creators instead; and ___that's___ what this new "marked for kids" sweep is for.

Ok so a LOT has been going down.

I'm working on a visual novel called sounds in the heart. Dating game about dating werewolves and being very gay.
And that danmaku game I had planned way back? Welllll its actually still being made its just under a whole new title now and a lot has changed. The plot, characters, everything is now original, with a new engine so we can sell it without impinging on touhou's copyright.

The new title is "Mysterious Advent of Supernatural Railway" and the game has its mechanics built around the "Pressure" system. Similar to castle of shikigami but, more as a chargeup system for your bombs, which are unlimited and are there to help you through tough spots. The better your play, the more bombs you get, and using them intelligently gets you more score which earns you more bombs back, rewarding risky play over cautious standstills. More info on this in days to come.

We're also starting an official company now, Unzychtig Curiosities which is a subgroup for our private organization, Teako/Artel Industries.

We plan to branch out and deliver a large amount of products for you guys to enjoy including adult novelties, board games and occult products, and of course our planned video games and comics penned by myself and  messer

Email valve’s VP, and head of marketing. Stop the censorship and protect not only these games but games with adult content but, LGBT content as well.



NCOSE, the group responsible for this push to remove this content is a known “Moral Guardianship” group full of puritanical anti LGBT members.



They’ve gone after the American Library association, EBSCO (because apparently giving sex education is bad), HBO (Because of Game of Thrones) and companies like EA, for games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect which feature scenes of LGBT relationships and what they call “vile pornographic material”



This needs to be stopped here and now.



Also, fundamentally this decision to remove these games from salefront, hurts the small devs who made them and removes their ability to even try to fight back.



We NEED to fight this. Now more than ever.
