Posted 13 years agoActually it was pretty cold and no one was naked.
Sounds like a band name.
Anyway, things just seem to get worse since my birthday. Last night someone busted out one of the windows from my car. Reports from a neighbor said she heard it but thought it was their own gate banging or something.
My stress level is high. Mom's urging me to call the police, as if it'll do anything. I'll still make the report.
I just know there's more tough times ahead for me.

Birthday BLUNDERS!! UPDATE!!
Posted 13 years agoWell now Halloween and my birthday has gone by with somewhat of a whimper. I tried to get my mother to knock off whatever she was going to spend on a gift or an outing from my rent instead to give me a bit of relief that month. But she refused and told me I had to pick between movie or dinner. So I picked movie. But I went and helped my brother move furniture. Little did I know the offer was time sensitive and if I, apparently, didn't go on my birthday then I just don't.
I'm pretty sad about this birthday. But other have worse so whatever.
AND ALSO
I feel pretty much like the most blind dolt EVER.
I got a note today pointing out to me that in my last journal my paypal address was WRONG! I can't believe I've gone this long without noticing. So now anyone who had decided to send me a dollar or two for my birthday probably got some sort of 'error'.
Usually the fall season, containing my birthday and favorite holiday, is my season and everything lines up and I have a good time, make some good memories. But this is just not my year.
I got in contact with a kind individual who donated to me for my Birthday/troubles. They told me that when they checked their payment history that since no one accepted the money it was credited back to their accounts!
I'm so sorry, I know it's not cool to give people's money the run around and stress is really good at driving one to makes mistakes.
The donator even resent the money to the RIGHT email. I'm really lucky to have you people.

Birthday Blues
Posted 13 years agoWell I'm pretty close to getting my internet shut off now. All kinds of irony going on with that since I failed in trying to get a bit knocked off of my rent as my Birthday gift this month and had to give it all over for that. Aaaaand the internet is the way I make rent money in the first place.
After my smashing my face in a fall in the bathroom I really really tried to get commissions and make up money and even had the silly hopes of making enough for a doctors visit. But how many did I get? Zero. How much money did I make? None. I really really suck and it looks like my birthday is shaping up to as well.
Because if my net gets shut off, absolutely no money for next months rent. I'm stressed and frustrated that all of my job applications I put out aren't getting anything back. I hate that I'm so limited because no matter how many times I get my car to start it's dead within two days again. Oh and guess what? No money to fix that either!

Posted 13 years agoWell I've been out of sorts the past couple days, and I'll tell you why.
It all happened when I felt a mighty NEED to go to the bathroom (I know you guys love all the details). So I sat there and started feeling REALLY nauseous and a little light headed. So I-
Woke up on the floor.
Yep. I'd fallen sideways and landed on the floor. I was really confused when my eyes cracked open and climbed back up into a sit. I was trying to get my bearings when that wave of sickly lightheadedness came back with a vengeance! So I grabbed the wastebasket, set it in front of me and-
Woke up on the floor again.
Only this time I'd fallen -forwards- effectively smashing my face against the side of the tub. Whimpering when I realized what had happened I quickly just hobbled into my room to lay the fuck down and contact someone.
I hadn't looked at my face but I could tell something was off. I could see something through the inner corner of my eye anyway. It all didn't hurt when I first woke up but it was all starting to feel a bit detached and achy.
When I finally had my mom around and was free to look into the mirror it turns out the thing I was seeing was a split across the bridge of my nose that was bleeding. The IMPACT point it seemed, though, was this big red spot up my cheek with a white spot right on the cheek bone that was secreting some sort of clear fluid. My jaw was killing me and my lip was bruised and swollen on one side. Now my jaw will swell up to where I can't close my teeth, and therefore, can't chew. So I have to pick soft foods that go down easy. Especially since chewing REALLY hurts.
Everyone has really wanted to take me to the hospital, including me of course. But there's no way I can have that kind of bill hanging over me when I don't have a proper income to deal with it.
But I'd really love to at least go for a doctors visit. Mostly to find out the cause of these pass outs.
I'm always open for commissions of course, if you just wanna shoot me a note.

Back to the Hospital
Posted 13 years agoIschemic Colitis is, for simplicity sake, an Intestine Stroke or an Intestine Attack. Blood clot blocks blood flow to the organ and the organ begins to suffocate, damage and die. Die from the inside out, causing ulcers on the sensitive lining of the intestines.
Symptoms include: Violent vomiting, Severe abdominal pain, diarrhea with a quick phasing into just passing nothing but blood and blood clots from the rectum.
As you guys know from past hospitalization, my Mother has problems with the whole digestive tract it seems as she was hospitalized for Gastritis (stomach infection) sometime last year. The symptoms were very similar save for the blood shitting.
Since then there would be maybe one or two days every two weeks where she would be very ill. Severe abdominal pain causing her to moan uncontrollably. Then the next day she'd be fine.
Well this month has been a different story. The 'ill days' would be closer together, they seemed to get worse and worse.
Her husband works all night, sleeps all day, often works over time. So it's been up to me to take care of her. Running errands, purchasing medicine, taking on whatever chores she asked and sometimes just setting her up for a painful evening on the couch by making her as comfortable as possible. Filling her a big cup of ice water, getting the remote and pillows and blankets and just whatever else she asked for.
Until one day it seemed to grow to a head. The pains started in the early afternoon with lots of violent vomiting. She couldn't even keep water down, so when there was nothing in her it turned to throat shredding dry heaves. When it got to late afternoon she called me to her in a panic because she had started to pass nothing but blood when she went to the bathroom.
I was so worried. But she buckled down with her symptoms and hoped they'd pass long enough for her to make a doctors appointment. It was agonizing, it only got worse. She couldn't go 20-30 minutes without having to either vomit or pass blood.
So I got her an overnight bag ready and drove her towards the hospital. At one point at a stop light she told me to turn on the hazard lights so she could get out and vomit up the couple swallows of water she'd drank right before we left the house.
By the time we got to the hospital she was in too much pain to talk so I had to admit her and hand over her ID and all her info.
As you can guess, it turned out to be Ischemic Colitis.
She's still in the hospital right now, but hasn't needed me to bring her anything today, so I thought I'd sit down and inform you all of why I have been absent recently.
I have so many commissions at near completion and I'm very very frustrated that I have not gotten them out yet. Not only because I want to fill my lovely commissioner's orders, but also because I haven't been able to get any more commissions because of it.
My internet bill is now officially late and the date I have to pay rent for is now looming over me.
I feel terrible that I feel relieved she's in the hospital right now because it's giving me the time away from taking care of her to work on them.
I hope to get them out ASAP to stir up interest in getting people to buy more from me.
Again. Very sorry for the delay to those I owe art to. It's been a trying couple of months.

It's spring time and we've recently done some yard work.
We must have brought in some terrible news with us and now out beloved cats are itching with fleas! I hate seeing them like this, it's terrible. (One of them being THIS cat: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2062036/ )
I haven't sold as many icons as I thought I would, so I have no extra money for flea meds, let alone the spraying!
I've even sold off some belongings not too long ago to have enough money for kitty food.
So I guess I'm back open for ALL commissions.

ANIMATED AVENGER ICONS!

I'm going to close regular commissions for a little while and offer up AVENGER THEMED ICONS! Yes that's right, you're character dressed as an one of the Avenger Initiative! I'm not sure if anyone else is doing these so I thought I'd but a spin on it!
So I'm going to offer a few different options
There's the usual static 11$ one where it'll be a standard icon. But 15$ will get you a powerflex of sorts! Thor gets sparks and lightening, Ironman/Tony get's glowies, Captain America will lift the shield until just your characters eyes are peering over it then go back into position, I'm not sure what to do for Hawk and Black Widow, I'm open for suggestions!
The Hulk will be the best deal though because for 15$ your character will be drawn as both Bruce Banner AND THEN have them Hulking out!
Don't think you're limited to just the Avengers though, I'm also offering Loki, Nick Fury, Agent Coulson etc. Just ask!
I'm only going to offer them this one time, I'm going to limit it to just 15 slots over all and stop as soon as I reach it.

JACKED UP FOOT + New Computer
Posted 13 years agoWell I'm back after quite the impromptu spring break trip to South Carolina to see/help my sister with FOUR little kids. Usually she just has two but her daughter (who lives around HERE) is visiting AND brought a little friend. So yeah, me to the rescue.
While there I was coming in from the patio and caught my second toe on the metal threshold. After holding onto the kitchen counter in pain for a little bit I examined the damage and my nail has been ripped completely off save for some slivers near the cuticle. My first thought was just to rip it the rest of the way off and get it over with. But I read that doing that would just increase risk of infection.. So we cleaned it, sprayed it, neosporined it and then wrapped it up. Now I'm waiting for it to fall off as it sits there quite crooked.

While there I was coming in from the patio and caught my second toe on the metal threshold. After holding onto the kitchen counter in pain for a little bit I examined the damage and my nail has been ripped completely off save for some slivers near the cuticle. My first thought was just to rip it the rest of the way off and get it over with. But I read that doing that would just increase risk of infection.. So we cleaned it, sprayed it, neosporined it and then wrapped it up. Now I'm waiting for it to fall off as it sits there quite crooked.

Tornado Aftermath
Posted 13 years agoTornado aftermath includes downed lines, dead live stock, several homes shredded in a town very close to us that was pretty much erased from the map, including a highly damaged high school. And a baby blown into the middle of a field found alive, they haven't found her parents yet. I personally haven't heard reports of deaths but my step father says he has.
One of a family members home were one of the ones that were destroyed.
We were untouched save for some power flickering.
I was so paranoid I put my cat in a carrier in the basement with me.
Anyway, it's past us now. In like a lion indeed.

Tips or Remedies? Antibiotics GET!
Posted 14 years agoA few days ago, I went out into the luke warm night air for my mother. Came back and started feeling really tired, I flopped onto the couch in the front room with the big window and fell asleep without any covers except for two little couch pillows.
When I woke up I was ice from top to bottom, shivering and chattering so I tossed myself into a hot shower and felt much nicer.
Until I got out.
I was confused at how dizzy and cold I still felt. The only way to describe this bone deep feeling was that of a pile of hot sick meat. I whipped out the thermometer and there it was: 101.1 F
I'd just GOTTEN OVER something allergy related and now I'm dealing with this JUST AS my sister, BABY(!) nephew and two nieces are visiting from South Caroline for the Holidays?
I can't touch anything.
I can't spend time with anyone.
I can't even sit at the dinner table as I am right now.
But the worst thing about the whole sickness are my EARS!
They're both so clogged! I can barely hear. I've looking up online remedies.
I've peroxided them more than a few times, used a squeezy thing to shoot warm water into them to try and rinse them out, I've even eaten a jalapeno pickle to get mucus flowing and then lay an ear on top of a heating pad to try and drain it.
A little leakage occurred but it was short lived. It's all connected to my throat I know, which hurts pretty bad.
Anyone else ever have this problem and/or have any tips on how to remedy or cure this?
( Also no, Doctor is not an option. I've used all my commission money for bills and rent. And since being sick I haven't got a chance to work on them much, so I couldn't clear the way to take on more and make more money. )

I didn't even get up until like five in the evening, just been sweating and slipping in and out of consciousness. Only leaving my bed for bathroom or more medicine.
I have a roll of toilet paper near to moisten with disgusting face secretions.
I'm getting up long enough to make something to eat, get a big gulp full of iced water, type this message and take something that'll probably knock me out again.
This is NOT a good time for me to be sick.

I'm running out of time and have been so bogged down with running around helping with babysitting and other Thanksgiving related things that I haven't been able to clear enough time to take and work on more commissions.
