I've been away from the art community for a while and I want to be active again!
I've been told that a lot of people use twitter now and I have no idea how to get into it.
I want friends, but I don't know where to start!
Also I need to update all my info and stuff, but I'm lazy so that'll happen later.
But yeah if anyone has any advice on networking please help me lmao I have no idea how the culture on twitter works.
Also I like friends, so if you also like friends, don't be shy lol tho i prefer talking to people around my age (23-28)- Probably Going to Be Inactive Soon -
Posted 8 years agoSince I've lost my dog I've just been really distracted and find it difficult to focus on any of my art pieces.
I've got 4 commissions to finish right now and then I'm probably going to break from this.
My fiancee and I are also in the process of getting a new puppy.
Our other dog as just been absolutely miserable without his best friend,
and he really needs someone to play with (and he doesnt like playing with humans :/), so that has also been taking up a lot of my attention.
And, of course, when the puppy gets here I'm going to devote a lot of time to training and exercising her.
I'm applying for a job tomorrow that I have a strong chance of getting, so we can support our new addition to the family.
I'll probably start making adoptables to sell in my spare time and I'll draw a lot more of my OCs.
But as for commissions I just don't think I can handle them right now.- Tragic Accident [Emergency Commissions] -
Posted 8 years ago Yesterday afternoon, my poor sweet innocent baby Ouka, the subject of much of my art and my favorite girl to draw, was stricken by a car and fatally wounded.
I've been real fucked up over it all of yesterday and all of today and probably will be for a while.
We got her to the animal hospital but there was really nothing they could do for her, but now we have a vet bill to cover.
As much as I really never wanted to ask for anything like this, I'll probably be taking some underpriced commissions to help cover the costs.
I'll probably just do cel-shaded fullbody's and chibis for like $20, if anyone would be willing to commission for something like that it would be really appreciated.
I'm not asking for donations because I feel like garbage when I do things like that, it isn't that dire.
I just need a little extra income and I don't want it for free, but if you really feel like you want to help, but can't afford a $20 commission I have a link to my ko-fi in my footer.
Thank you to anyone who reads this, I'm going to post a journal regarding commissions and slots a little later.
Don't respond to this one, or note me, if you're interested in a commission, I'll make a space for comments on the new journal.
I just needed to make this one to explain what was going on and kind of.. clear my head. I haven't been able to explain what happened to anyone yet, it was really traumatizing.

Posted 8 years agoI'm not used to drawing with a tablet yet, and I'm trying to improve but it feels like I get burnt out on drawing by the time I finish my linearts.
I want to keep practising lineart, but I also want to practice colour techniques without feeling tired and lazy about it.
I want to do some collaborations so I can get more practice in without staring at the same drawing for hours.
So just comment below if you're better at coloring or lineart and if you're interested!☆ Commissions Open! ☆
