Simply Panda Jenn will be undergoing a short hiatus between the months of August and November. (maybe a bit longer, depending on a few things) while I work on completing the second comic.

During that time, I don't want the comic to be completely inactive. Between this current story arc and the next, I will be posting a series of comic fillers.

I need to focus my energy on drawing the main story, so I'll be needing some help from other artists who would be willing to do the filler stuff.

please reply if your interested, with samples of your work. If I like what I see, I'll note you with further details. My starting offer is $25.00 a comic. Please keep in mind that the price is not set and I am up for negotiation.

I've been off work for about a week now and finally go back tomorrow. I'm sort of glad in a way, because Ive been getting a little stir crazy being stuck in this house for so long. On the plus side, I've been getting allot of drawing done.

Speaking of drawing, I'm nearly done with my current art trade batch. I'm thinking I may do more when I'm done since it seems to be helping me. I'll only be accepting a few though, so if your interested then reply to this journal with a link to your gallery and some sample art. That's all you need to do for now. if I choose you, then I'll note you requesting further request information.

I swear if this doesn't end soon, I'm about to fall into a whole that I may never come out of. Well I got settled back into my grandmas house here, only to be told last night that I need go back to my mom's house..... yeah, it's confusing I know.
Sadly I don't have time for details. But long story short, I gotta repack all my stuff after work today and go back. *sigh*

This constant indecisiveness is really getting on my nerves! >_<*

I have to go move back in with my grandmother next week, and need to start packing up my mom's house (the one I'm currently living in.) Sadly I have to lack certain details here because it's rather personal, but please bare with me folks. There's allot that needs to be done and very little time to do it all. Besides keeping up with updates on the comic, there's a good chance you may not see much of me until things calm down.

This couldn't have come at a worse time too, because next week is also our quarterly 40% at DDs and it's one of the busiest (aside from the Christmas one.)

By the end of next week, I swear I'll have to have myself committed because I won't have an ounce of sanity left -.-*

What?!! .... Hey, I made a promise that I wouldn't get all angsty over Valentines day and I intend to keep that promise! Instead, allow me to share some words of wisdom to help all you singles get through the holiday...

1. Remember, a girl's two best friends are chocolate and a vibrator.
2. Be your own Valentine! Love yourself, pamper yourself.... make it all about you! There's no rule that says you need someone to do it for you!
3. You are special! And anyone who doesn't think so isn't worth your time!
4. As you may have already read on the site, or in a recent twitter announcement, my comic, Simply Panda Jenn (http://pandajenn.com) will be going from monthly to biweekly starting this month!

What does this mean? Well, it basically means that new comics will be posted every 2 weeks/ twice a month instead of just once a month.
More specifically, the first and third Sunday of each month.

This is shaping up to be a very busy year for me. My RL life is getting more and more crammed by the second with more work hours and other various responsibilities at home, getting ready for my driving test and so on... allot of personal matters as well that I prefer not to go into much detail on right now, and don't have the time to as is... *points to clock* need to make this journal fast as I have to head off to work in 20 minutes.

Aside from real life, I'm cramming every free second I can into completing the first issue of "Simply Panda Jenn"

I'm hoping that at some point things will cool down again and long enough for me to get caught up on everything. I blame myself more then anything, since I spent all of 2011 stewing in my own self pity... all that could have been time spent getting things done. >_<*

One of my new years resolutions (along with the things mentioned above) was to start being more positive in every aspect of life that I can. So far that seems to be working out okay.

One of my New Years resolutions was to not be so negative about things, so rather then go with my usual mopey, 'I hate Valentines Day' thing, I went with something a little cheerier... and who better to promote a non negative view of Valentines day, then miss Bridget! Even if she prefers little plastic men over real ones lol! She's sort of become my poster girl for all things sweet and happy! *^.^*

I'm watching the new episode of Taboo as we speak. I've honestly been waiting for them to cover the subject... As usual, many comments and opinions are rather judgmental, but that's about what we can
expect from these shows. Those who were featured in the segment, did pretty well at trying to defend the fandom at least. In all honestly, I wouldn't mind joining them. They look like they were having so much fun! *^.^*

I finally got off my lazy, whiny butt and got back to work on SPJ. Expect new pages to be posted soon!

So, the other night there was apparently an armed robbery at the place I work. I won't even mention where that is, as I'm not really allowed to be discussing this. Those of you who do know however, please don't mention it in any comments, please and thank you! (You never know who could be reading this.)

Anyway, this happened Saturday night. I can't go into anymore detail and honestly don't have much detail, but it was a pretty terrifying ordeal for the manager on duty and my fellow associates.

On that day, I was scheduled to work the morning shift, and was out of there by 1:30 PM. While I feel bad for those who had to go through it, I'm glad I wasn't there. As far as I know, nobody was hurt thank God, though I'm sure they're completely traumatized. I would be to if someone pointed a gun at my face >_<*

So the Jay reply was awesome... and just when I thought my luck couldn't get any better I found a couple PMs from TJ Miller when I got home from work this evening. I was telling my mother about what's been happening, about my depression, suicidal toughs etc. We decided to speak to my Dr. about it and she thinks I'm suffering from chronic depression and has me starting on some anti depression meds. We'll have to see how that works. I hope so, because I'm sick of feeling this way all the time and I know you all are sick of hearing me complain. I take my first one tomorrow morning and she says I should start seeing a change in 1-2 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed guys.

I can't do this anymore guys. I'm done! Those I owe trades to, you'll still get your half no worries. But after that, I'm no longer an artist, writer, creator of any kind. I'm now just an empty shell of a human being waiting to grow old and die. Sorry if I alarmed anyone with the subject... it's a metaphorical RIP, as I feel my soul and will has already died and so I already consider myself to be so.
