It has been a super long time since I've been around, I've been very busy haven't had time to do any macro or furry drawing but I have the house to myself and a free week so I am opening commissions!
I'm opening 5 slots for now, more will be opening if I have time. I am looking to get these slots all finished in the next week so if you want a slot please be ready to communicate and have payment ready to go as soon as the sketch is approved, or risk losing your slot.

Posted 11 years agoOh dear, so it seems some of my new submissions have been removed because the lineart was traced. Seems a bit harsh bearing in mind what they look like and how much work went into them, and the tracing falls under the same section in AUP as plagurizing and stealing!

I'm back and will be working again soon. I need to do a (lazy) deep spring clean in my studio before I get to work and I'm going to do some personal stuff before I get back into commissions, but start watching this space again!
Also I've managed to cross over the 10,000 faves milestone while I've been away which is quite flabbergasting I never imagined I'd get this many in a million years. I almost have 1000 watcher as 30,000 pageviews so might do something special soon.. (or might not, just musing). Also my last commission for
inforiel http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13586371/ is my first sub to get over 200 likes, which is also wonderful!

I am opening up 5 commission slots. These will be anything goes, by which I mean I will be available to do backgrounds and all that jazz. Please note that I will make sure you agree to a quote for backgrounds before I confirm your slot as complex backgrounds will be at least $30+ and may be $50+
This will also be the last round of commissions before I put up prices. Prices have to go up for a number of reasons but I hope that commissioners will still feel they are getting good value.
I am also able to do commissions in the style of my Gulliver inspired personal works. These will be $100 flat fee for now. If you would like one of these then please be prepared to give me scenarios and some specifics but I will need flexibility for models etc.

Posted 11 years agoI'm back and it was awesome. I'm keen to start drawing but have to sort some stuff out and then get practicing again too! I tried some jetlagged pokes of my tablet today and the result was terrible, so I need to get back into the grove and post some personal work before I open up for commissions again.

On thursday I'm taking a few weeks off to go on vacation and I will not be taking my laptop! I'm going to have my ipod so I will not be totally out of touch with the world but I'm not going to be on FA or on my associated email. When I get back I will probably be opening up some commission slots... either lots or hardly any, I need to see where my motivation is and what direction I want my life and art to take for the next little while.
So have fun, stay safe and I'll see you towards the start of February!

Posted 12 years agoOh my, oh my! Things have been hectic for a while and now for a little bit I have no RL deadlines, exhibitions or wild goose chases to go on! (I think) The prospect of of all this spacetime has also filled me with a little dread as I'll need to be making a living somehow and I have important dates on the (still fairly distant) horizon that demand I start making some dollar. So I'm going to be taking a couple of days to chill and then launching into a big round of commissions. I'm even sorting out a proper looking Commission info picture thing and considering offering candy to those who don't want a background!* I'll even be opening up 10 slots!! Which will without a doubt manage to go unfilled but you have to try! I'm normally a stickler for getting things done for people very fast, but if demand is high, it may take a little longer this time. Oh Joy! So now, I may get a little time to work on some personal projects :) I will open very soon, in the next few days even! If you're thinking you might want a slot, watch this space!

Posted 12 years agoJust a quick message to say thanks to everyone who watches and faves and comments and everything! I hit a few arbitrary milestones recently (round numbers) of 16000 pageviews, 5000 faves and 600 watchers! So amazing!
Hopefully I'll be able to open up commissions again in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested. I just got a new Wacom Bamboo with Manga Studio Debut which I used for the commissions for neopuc just recently https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11033933/ and https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11033997/ . They turned out really well and it has made inking so much easier and more enjoyable so hopefully you think they look better too and its winning all around.
Anyway, thanks again and more will follow in the not too distant future.

I will be in the market for a new graphics tablet soon and beyond just getting a Wacom bamboo I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for other tablets. I'm looking for a value item really, I don't have too much cash to splash. I remember someone wrote a journal about a company doing lower priced (than Wacom) alternatives that were still pretty large but I can't remember who it was or what the brand was.
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

I remember someone wrote a journal about a company doing lower priced (than Wacom) alternatives that were still pretty large but I can't remember who it was or what the brand was.
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!
