Posted 10 years ago I am now missing a good chunk of the tip of my right middle finger
And my finger is just a huge ball of gauze at the moment
So it kinda sucks hahaha.
Anyone that doesn't wanna hear specifics, stop reading here~
I was slicing cheese and I have to hold it different so it will actually stay like, upright and not flop over or catch and just make my life a lot more difficult
Well, I was holding it funny and it still caught and my hand flung forward off the cheese and into the big gap (I had to get literal chunks of cheese) so it dragged my hand into it, and I flicked it off and the part of my finger was just gone, cut right down the side, so I'm missing the 'corner' of that finger, and part of the front bit. My first reaction was to first wrap a paper towel around it, then I grabbed a cloth out of a bleach washing bucket thing and wipe down the slicer before I got anyone. I:
There was no possible way it could have been stitched, so they cauterized it with this big match stick looking thing and wrapped gauze around it which can't come off till Tuesday night. In total, it bled for almost 2 hours straight and 25 minutes of it was after it was cauterized.
Today was good other than that, though? hahaha

Finally I managed to get this done, and I am SO happy.
Now, this means I'm going to have at least /some/ money coming in each week..

I've been feeling like absolute shit for all of this, and I am so excited for my job, 95% because of this reason.

's home for New Years
I've been here since Tuesday night (More like 1 AM Wednesday.. Was a long trip.)
This is my first visit here!
We played games with his family
Went on our first actual date
We went into Boston with 
and our friend, Crimmy! Got pretty turnt, got bubble tea for the first time, an Asian market, the Curious George store, and hung out in his apartment for a while, it was a super fun day!
My little bunny bums is absolutely adorable, in case anyone didn't know that already :3c ♥
But yeah, I just thought I'd put an update on my life!
I'm happier here than I've ever been, and I'm even more certain that I'll be moving into Boston once this school year is out

In school, all of the images are blocked on FA except for the ads and the top left banner, so a lot of the time I end up watching people based on their ad hahaha

Posted 11 years agoAlright so, I've been telling people individually what's been going on, but I feel it'd be easier to have it here.
This year is a big one for me.
It's actually my senior year of Highschool, and most of, if not all, of my time has been spent on homework, college things, scholarships, and now looking for a job so I can start off the summer with some money when I move.
Another big issue with this year has been depression. So far, at least once a week, I'll go into a mode which can only be described as a complete meltdown, and on top of everything else it gets pretty hard to deal with. Thursday I was sent home from school because of how bad it was, and I spent that whole day curled up in a ball, in my bed, really hating myself. This lasted until late Friday, and anyone who's felt that type of pain knows that absolutely nothing about it is ok, and it's so hard to get out of that mood, fighting with everything in your body to not harm yourself, in one way or another. It was a mix between the stress school's been putting on me, commissions, and my social/home life. I'm working really hard to try and get better, but antidepressants aren't a thing that are easily accepted in my home, and I have problems just talking to someone about these things.
I am REALLY so sorry about this, how slow everything has been going, but I spend every bit of free time I have on art, whether it's 5 minutes or 30, before I have to go to bed (If I'm not up till 1-2 AM with homework, only to wake up at 6 for school.), I really am trying
And I am sorry it's been taking so long to get things done, but I have everything except for two commissions AT LEAST sketched
I really can not express how sorry I am for taking so long.. If I had the money, I would refund all of you. And then do at least a sketch of your characters to make up for how shitty I've been.
In all honesty, I have no idea how long this is going to take me. Thanksgiving break is soon, my parents plan on making me spend all my time on money things, but I think if I pull a few all-nighters I can get art done.

Posted 11 years ago well, they didn't reschedule my surgery this time, which is good..
But this is the third day, and holy fuck is it kicking my ass.
I expected to be able to come home, chill out on the couch, work on commissions, and have life be great
Nah. I take my medicine, pass out for about 2 hours, wake up and sit in pain till my next dose, repeat. Swallowing is pretty shitty right now /:
I keep falling asleep sitting/standing up haha. Idk how I haven't dropped anything yet (I usualy have a Gatorade in my hand when this happens)
Please excuse any spelling errors I make that myself or my phone doesn't pick up, for some reason my fingers don't wanna hit the right buttons for me.
But yeah, I just thought I would give an update on this, since I was asked.
(This is literally probably the worst sight. I'm downstairs on the couch, watching rupauls drag race, with a cold wash cloth over my swollen neck and a bag of just my spit sitting next to me, crying occasionally because this shit is painful.)
I haven't eaten since about 6 PM EST on the 15th. /: I want to eat my jello but I'm terrified aa...

They called at 4:30 this morning (my surgery was scheduled for 6) and said that they needed to reschedule to Monday.
We had to push so much shit for today to be possible, my father is a supervisor at his work and he needs to practically beg to get out for even a few hours. (He works 3-11PM so he hasn't even slept. He gets home at midnight.)
And they rescheduled this shit twice now. So.. I need to get my pre-op again. And blood tests AGAIN. Also they have fucked around so much that the meds I had to start before surgery are almost gone so we need to get more.
Idk I'm angry enough to rip out somebody's throat right now.Officially official

This Thursday at 6 AM uwu It was rescheduled do to the ENT's daughter having a baby, so instead of my surgery being last Thursday like scheduled, it's this week
Tbh I'm kinda really terrified, I was super hoping that I could go through life without ever having a surgery
They just keep making it seem scarier and scarier :c
"It's gonna be the worst sore throat you have ever had in your life"

"It's gonna suck healing, and it's gonna look like you have thrush and smell real bad"

"You will throw up a lot of bright red blood when you wake up (possibly)"

I had a massive panic attack while the anesthesiologist was talking to me, they just thought it was funny and just holy fuck I swear I'm terrified xD
Anyway sorry I had to return to school and I kinda just wanted to ramble on for a bit.~Pan<3 October schedule (commissions, etc.)
Posted 11 years ago So there's a lot going on this month, and I thought it would be a good idea to put sort of a schedule somewhere.
This week: Babysitting Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun is to work on pictures
Next week: Pre-Op Monday (possibly time for commissions), Tues. - Wed. Massive amounts of homework, Thurs. = SURGERY, Friday I will be coming home if they keep me overnight, Sat. - Sun, Getting used to meds and sore throat
Week of 13th, Mon. - Thurs. I will be home, and WORKING ON PICTURES, Friday I should be back to school, Sat-Sun. more art
Week of 20th, Monday is my birthday. I can't go anywhere and it will suck really bad :) [Also, my birthday present this year was supposed to be plane tickets for MFF. This surgery is ruining that, too.] , rest of week - school, etc. Friday&Saturday, my school is doing a haunted hay ride thing through the town. I gotta figure out how to help without doing too much. Sunday, relaxing, possibly art.
Week of 27th, Halloween-y stuff, man.. A lot of it.
I have some updates I haven't put on Trello just yet, when I actually sit down at the computer, I will put them up! (I'm lucky if I get to open my laptop even on the weekends anymore.) (I have a few minutes of free time in class atm, but it's a school computer.)
Please, be patient with me! This year has been SO busy for me, I was not expecting it in the slightest, and I feel like shit for making you guys wait, but I hope you guys see I'm really trying u vu;;;; ~<3 Busy Pan-PanNew queue thing!

Posted 11 years agoWent to the ENT today, anyone who's been talkin to me knows that my tonsils have been a problem for a while now..
Well, they're bad enough that they need to come out. (I've actually got some serious pitting... And kernels.. Seriously do not look up if you have a weak stomach. Like me.)
Next Tuesday they're gonna check me out, the next week will be more blood work, then stuff. Like my first surgery /:
I'm gonna be home for the first week, so I mean I guess that's a plus
Get to work on commissions yay
But the stuff they gave me for after is kinda.. Intense. So we will see how well I do!
For anyone wondering about commissions, I will make another journal later, because I've made a Trello and it's easier to update!
But yes, I just thought I'd let you guys know that the weekend of the 2nd may not be a productive one

Posted 11 years agoSo yesterday at about noon, somewhere between my room and the livingroom, my fucking pen disappeared. I have torn apart the livingroom, my room, tipped up all the furniture and shook it around, checked absolutely fucking everywhere

I am still looking, I looked for HOURS yesterday, and two hours again today when I got home
I can't find it and I am SO upset right now
So until I can find it, work is on hold. Which really sucks because I lost it when I got into a groove after a serious block. /:
If I can't find it, I'm going to have to order a new pen.

Yeah well, it really didn't click with me that I made the auction piece due date the same week that school started back up for me.
Like wow, go me.
So I've had literally no time to do anything, I've been rushing around the past two weeks trying to get stuff done and it left me no time for art (which, whenever I started thinking about commissions anxiety attacks became a problem? << )
So I'm super sorry that I've been working slowly! But I have not forgotten about any commissions and I am working on them every minute I have free, I've got a couple sketched out, and I'm currently lining the auction piece
So I beg, please don't kill/hate x.x;
Things should calm down once everything starts to settle, but I'll still be working as much as possible before then, too.

So I'm looking for someone that does pretty toony, but not TOO toony work, that would be willing to draw her in puppy gear
(The specific idea is that we're looking for someone to do a picture of my character, Pan, leading Lila around on all fours, in gear like This, She'd be naked and in a harness.)

Posted 11 years agoSo I don't think that the word actually got out all too much, but at anthrocon we dropped/placed/threw 250 bouncy balls around the city/con center~
Well, I got pretty sloshed and came up with the idea to do FREE headshot sketches for everybody who brought me one, or sent me a picture with their super balls :3
One per person, if you and your partner found two then I will do couples :3
If you didn't get the chance to see me there, just take a picture of yourself with the ball (and this years con badge thing) and send it to me with a ref of your character and such :3

I see people doing commissions for things like themed plushies and such, and I was thinking that if anybody were interested, I could start that, too.
I'd be interested in things like..
E-cig parts (510 thread)
New plugs/tunnels (5/8 aka 16mm)
MLP themed items
Plushies
Certain clothing items
Etc
Of course each different thing could be worth different amounts, like, say someone bought me some cartomizers or a set of plugs for 5-10$, I'd do 1-2 headshots or some chibis, but if someone got me a 20-35$ set of plugs or clothing items put together, that'd be a couple full color pictures or a ref sheet or two, all depending.
Is anyone interested in something like this?
If so, hmu or comment on this journal to let me know if I should do this or not~ (I'd set up a wish list with a more detailed art list thingy)
