Occasionally I will drink alcohol (I prefer single malts and dark stouts and ales), but only when I'm feeling safe. I don't smoke or vape or anything similar.

What do I have to watch out for, when I am meeting you?
I have a few disabilities and chronic illnesses you should be aware of, the most important ow which are:
Chronic pain: I'm always in extensive (although not always severe) pain. It will often change quickly, but when it's too bad I have medication. I might walk around on crutches one day and not another, or in the morning and not in the evening or vice versa.
Insomnia: Like, real insomnia. Without my meds I don't sleep, and they don’t work that well.
Faceblindness: If we have talked and later you wave at me and I look at you like you're a stranger, please don't be hurt. Just approach and remind me of something from an earlier conversation. I will remember who you are and be happy to meet you again!

Trauma: Won't go into details here, but I have been through a lot of terrible things. In short: it’s better to offer me hugs than give them without asking. Where are you staying?
At the hotel at Infra City.

No one. I need a single room to be able to hide when I need to rest or if I’m in too much pain, and to manage my insomnia.

Means of transportation?
On paw when there - getting there through taxi service. I live nearby.

Where will you be most of the time during the day?
Hopefully running around all over the hotel in manic excitement, or sitting in a corner somewhere, drawing stuff. I'll be alone in my room a lot to recover and rest so that I can better attend to my duties. At night I might do late night socialising when things are more quiet. I also hope to fursuit and cosplay a lot.

Are you doing anything for the convention?
Still not sure what this question means, but I’m in the STEW and work as a medic, if that counts?

Attending any events?
I will attend a few as a medic, but I'm not sure which events I will attend as an ordinary attendee yet.

Other cons you may go to?
NFC is the only con I attend.

How can I get your attention?

Keep your eyes open for someone wearing A LOT OF RED. Often even a red top hat. Usually I wear a black tail and ears too if I'm not wearing a too small hat. If you see me, just call out 'Paaaooo!' and I should notice you.

Yes, but only when I feel like it and have the time and energy. I can't do nearly as much as I would like to though due to being a spoonie and needing most of my spoons for survival and my duties.

I have personally commissioned them before, to get an antlered version idea of a terrorkitten (they don't normally have antlers, but I wanted to see what it might look like), and they were a pleasure to work with. • What is the name of your fursona?
My terrorkitten does not have a personal name. None of them have personal names, so I tend to just write their species name in brackets, like: "[Terrorkittens]".

• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
As stated above, they don’t have a name.

• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
The species were born in a very roundabout way, honestly. A few years ago I started using the name ‘Terrorkittens’ on Twitter as a Halloween name and I liked it so much I just kept it. Then in May 2016 I asked my favourite horror artist friend Machinesbleedtoo if they could draw me a terrorkitten, because I had no idea what a terrorkitten looked like and they made me this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20065689/ and I just fell utterly in love with it. After that the terrorkitten took over as my first real fursona. (The red maned panther thing is not a thing I consider a fursona.)

• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect
Their primary colour is a dark, even charcoal grey, with red paws and fur details and mane. The spikes and horns are bone coloured, and the eyes are green. They have red ‘tiger spots’ on their ears. Occasionally they have red stripes over the back, but most usually not. I think it’s a part of brooding behaviour, but there’s probably some sort of conscious choice involved.
They have the same general colours as the panther creature I tend to draw myself as, and the same mane style. The green eyes were not my idea, but it became canon that when I’m feeling more monstery I draw myself with green eyes instead of blue now.

• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Personality traits we share: being curious and inquisitive; being fiercely protective about those we want to protect; always hungry, even if the word usually means different things to us; easily confused and bewildered in the face of New Things (even if I love learning and at least usually tend to recover quickly).
Personality traits differences: Unlike me they are not loyal even if sometimes they seem to be (enlightened self-interest); they are not cruel the way I am, even if they are known to often eat prey alive slowly (they don’t understand/think about why this would be a bad thing and what suffering really is); they are usually solitary creatures and don’t bond to other creatures, terrorkittens or not (I get much joy out of being with others); they don’t care for nests or nesting unless brooding (nesting is very important to me); they are very easily bored (I can usually amuse myself by at least thinking, but terrorkittens need things to do, like hunting or wandering or digging or demolishing things).

• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
They have the same style of mane as I have. They don’t generally have belongings, but in a few cases I’ve drawn terrorkittens with things that would be important to them in context. In many cases 'wild' terrorkittens would probably find things they really liked, like a nice stick or shiny rock that they would carry around for a while, but they would probably lose focus or interest within a few hours.

• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
“Would you like something to eat? I could get you something to eat that isn’t me.”

• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?

• How has your fursona changed over the years?
Thus far they haven’t changed much, because they’re kind of new still, but a significant change from the first concept is that they very quickly got backwards pointing mantis type spikes on their lower part of their front legs, to better hold prey. Also, their ears are slowly becoming bigger, but I think they are done growing now.
In making a fursuit of them, northerly living terrorkittens can also canonically can get a winter coat now: it’s a fair bit lighter and smoother than their ordinary coats.

• How long have you had this fursona?
Since May 2016.

• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Yes and no. I do identify a lot with them in how they interact with others and I admire their innocence in a way ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22630959/ ), but I’m pretty happy with what I am. I do however often wish I could have a terrorkitten as a friend. Or, well, as much a friend as they could ever be.
And, as I’m starting to feel more comfortable and at ease with what I am, I have started drawing a lot of hybrids between terrorkittens and myself, whether as the panther creature ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22910734/ ) or in human form ( WARNING: GORE https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22541108/ ), and this will definitely start happening more.

I'm writing this to inform you that I will not be around here much for the rest of the week. The reason is that I will go meet up with other Hung Gar siblings and then we will BE ON A TRAIN and then I will LEARN HOW TO FIGHT WITH A SABRE and then I will most probably panic and be terribly stressed out and my meds won't work and I will crash hard and THEN I WILL BE ON A TRAIN AGAIN and be returned to Stockholm somewhere late on Sunday night in a nicely wrecked state.

Despite how we're there to learn a sabre form I hope I will get to da sam sing with someone, because da sam sing is pretty much the thing I like the most about doing Hung Gar. I haven't been able to enjoy some good da sam sing in quite a while and I miss it terribly. I hope someone there takes pity on me and/or misses da sam sing as much as I do.

This is da sam sing, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5KLM3bkFcA. It's basically a formal way for two persons to strike their underarms together. We do it in order to strengthen the bones and to make our muscles more compact, because we use the underarms a lot for blocking incoming strikes and even kicks, so they have to be really strong. It's really painful and in the beginning there are often bruises, especially if one is a stubborn creature like I am with a great pain tolerance.

There is a common saying that striking a person who knows Hung Gar is supposed to hurt, and it's true. Not because they necessarily strike back, but because they are really, bloody hard. It's due to things like da sam sing. I really love da sam sing.

But I digress. I will be back on Sunday evening, unless I just curl up and sleep for a week, which is not unlikely. No matter how much I tend to like and trust other martial arts siblings, I'm still disabled and no matter the great the trust or joy might be it cannot change the fact that I'm disabled and it's really bad. I will pay for this. I'm still paying for NFC and being traumatised while recovering after that and I still haven't recovered from those. I have no idea when I will recover from this.

If I disappear, please know that I will return eventually. I will try not to be gone for too long.

What's your dream job: I would pretty much like any job. I take pleasure and pride in doing things well, pretty much whatever this thing might be. But I'm a disabled spoonie, so a full time job is not realistic for me.

Do you drink?
Occasionally, when there is an overlap between feeling like drinking and not having to take any meds that I can't combine with alcohol. Favourite alcoholic things are Caol Ila (cask strength, then normal) and other Islay single malts. I can also enjoy dark ales and stouts, but I'm picky.

Do you have any disabilities or illnesses one should be aware of?
Chronic pain: This is a real problem for me. I'm always in extensive (although not always severe) pain. It's from the level of being just an annoying inconvenience up to the level of me having to be in a hospital for days and ending up in a wheelchair for a few weeks because my body is in too much pain to be able to communicate with itself. Some pain is sudden both in how it appears and in how it ends, some pain is a constant battle, some leaves limbs weak and useless. It's too complicated to list and describe here. Don't be surprised if you see me walking around on crutches one day and not another. Or doing it in the morning and not in the evening or vice versa.
(Let's hope I don't need any wheelchairing though! It's only happened once!)

Migraines: Usually not frequent, but when I get them... oh do I get them. No migraine is a pleasant experience, but I get real bad ones. Suffice to say that if I'm getting a migraine, don't expect to see me for the rest of the day, or at least for several hours. Getting better at spotting and treating them in time, but still sometimes miss the warning signs.

Insomnia: Like, real insomnia. I'm not "just a night owl who can't sleep at night"; I have insomnia. Without my meds I don't sleep, period, and frequently when I'm stressed or in pain or just at random they just go "lol! :D" and just don't work to varying degrees, so... I'm always tired and never feel rested. You might not notice this when you meet me and I am excited, but trust me: this is an extremely uncomfortable state to be in.

Faceblindness: I have a really hard time remembering faces and recognising people. We might have talked and I might really like you, and then you wave at me and I look at you like you're a stranger and you're hurt and... Please don't be! Come up to me and tell me that we talked earlier and tell me something from the conversation and I will know who you are and be happy to meet you again!
Pro tip: Also remind me of your name if you're not wearing a clear badge, because I'm as bad with names as I am with faces.

(My faceblindness is less of a trouble at NFC than in other parts of my life thanks to things like badges and suchlike, but this is still a problem. And if we meet outside down in the city centre and you're not wearing your badge... I probably won't have any clue who you are unless we've met IRL regularly for several years. If you have a really uncommon clothing style or haircut you might not even notice my faceblindness, though.)

Trauma: Won't go into details here, but I have been through a lot of really bad and terrible things. Real bad and real terrible things. It's very, very important that you respect my personal integrity and what I say. If I tell you not to touch me or hug me and you do it anyway I might panic and respond with real violence to defend myself and you might end up hurt and I might end up in a real bad place and no one wins. Please never, ever hug me without asking first. Especially true when I'm suiting and I might not see you coming. Never, ever hug me from behind without warning. Never. Not even if we're friends, because I can't tell that we are when I can't see who you are.

Don't be afraid to ask me whether or not you can do something, like hugging me! I always get really happy when people ask and show that they respect people's boundaries and consent! It's literally one of the best things! Asking doesn't have to be verbal either; just holding out your arm in the universal "hug?" gesture works too.

I understand that you just mean well, but this gets old really quickly. Please try to imagine how it is having lived with this for more than half of my life. I take some things which would be classified as such if I didn't have a prescription for them from my doctor.

NO. NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE SOME. THIS SHOULD NOT EVEN BE A QUESTION YOU ASK PEOPLE. These things are not easy to get prescribed and I need them to survive, so I'm not going to give them away to people. And before you ask: no, I won't sell them to you either. If you ask me this, I might never want to talk to you ever again.
(Adding this because this actually happens to me sometimes. This is a real question I get from people and like... wtf..? What is your problem?!)

Have you been to any other furry conventions before?
All the other Nordic FuzzCons, but no other furcons.

Where are you staying?
The primary hotel, Utsikten.

Are you staying any extra nights?
I have all of them. MAXIMUM FUZZAGE!

Sharing a room with:
No one. I need a single room to be able to hide when I need to due to lack of spoons or if I just get into a lot of pain and to be able to manage my insomnia.

Means of transportation?
On paw when there - getting there through taxi service.

Where will you be most of the time during the day?
Hopefully running around everywhere in manic excitement, or sitting in a corner somewhere, drawing stuff. I will also be in my room a lot to recover and rest and do fursuit fixing.

Are you doing anything for the convention?
I'm not sure what this question means. Don't ask what the con can do for you, ask what you can do for the con?

Are you selling anything at the convention?
Not this year. I tried it one year, but it's not for me. I might not be good enough? I have no idea. But sitting there in the Dealer's Den wasn't really for me either. Also, I was very allergic at the time and had to wipe my nose all the time. That probably didn't help to improve the experience.

What are you most looking forward to?
Meeting and hanging out with people I know from near and far. Being creative with other people. Good food. Fursuiting and drawing. The Furry Music Café.


SOCIAL STUFF AND PERSONAL INTEGRITY:

How can I get your attention?
Out of suit: Call my name (Pao) or just come up to me and introduce yourself if you're new to me.
If we know one another, just do as you always do when meeting me.

In suit: If you know the name of the sona, call their name, not mine. They respond to them and I'm always listening for people who use them. You can also come up to me from the front and say hello.

Never, ever hug or touch me* without warning, especially not when I'm suiting, because I might not see who you are and panic and respond with defending myself and you don't want me to do that because you will end up hurting.
*(a firm hand on my arm is usually all right)

Are you nice?
I'm usually kind and gentle and loving and polite, but I can also be pretty intimidating and scary depending on what one finds scary. When I'm hungry it is usually very clear and obvious...

Who will you be with?
The people I manage to run into. There are some I hope to hang out more with, but they might be occupied or unable to be found. I don't know. People who want to hang out with me. There will be so many people there that meeting friends might be difficult? I'm afraid and worry about that, but I hope it will still be bearable.

Can I talk to you?
Usually. If I'm outside of my room I'm usually very approachable, but if I'm on my way there to hide and do self care, please don't take it personally if I can't stop and chat with you. My disabilities and my spooniness are real things and when I'm about to break I'm about to break. It's just how things are.

Can I touch you?
That... depends? It depends on who you are, how well we know one another and where you want to touch me. What... what is this question? Always ask for consent before any touching or hugging.

Can I noseboop you?
If you want to and I'm prepared and it would make you happy to noseboop me.

Can I hug or snuggle you?
It depends on who you are, how well we know one another and how I'm feeling. Always ask for consent before any touching or hugging. Preferably even if we know one another unless I know you really well. I might be in pain or overstimulated and in those cases hugging me is real bad for me and makes everything much worse.

Can I dance with you?
I don't dance much, but if I'm dancing you can dance with me if you want to.

Can I invite you to parties?
You can invite me to as many parties as you'd like. I'll most probably accept if I have the spoons for it, but I might have to decline.

Can I hang with you in your room?
If you are someone I like and trust a lot... perhaps. I need my room to be my safe place, so I invite or accept requests on my own discretion. If I say no don't be offended or take it personally, but respect it. You can ask if you want to but always respect my answer.

A red fennecat (fennec/cat hybrid) called Janath Manakai.
A blue fennec called Ms Faernleah Gladechild.
Hopefully I will have a terrorkitten monster horror pao fursuit ready as well.


ART AND TRADES AND SUCHLIKE:

Do you do free art?
Yes, but only when I feel like it. I love drawing things for others, and I will frequently do this for pretty much no other reason than because I like it and to show my appreciation. Usually for friends and people I respect a lot, but it happens that I do for others too if I get an idea. I love drawing fanart of things I like, and of people's fursonas if we have hung out and I want to show appreciation. I can't do nearly as much as I would like to though due to being a spoonie and needing most of my spoons for survival.
(Please never ask me for free art, because I will be very sad to have to turn you down, but if we are friends you are free to tell me it would be all right to draw you art of your fursonas or characters if I can, because I generally don't do so without permission.)

Do you do trades?
Sometimes, but only at cons when sitting and drawing with other people, as a social thing.

Do you do commissions?
Never. Not under any circumstances. I don't take commissions, for any reason. No, not even if you ask nicely. No, not even if you offer to pay me. No, not even if you're about to propose to your significant other. No, not even if – you get the idea. I never will. Don't ask.

Will you get anything commissioned?
Probably not. I already have someone I commission for all my art needs: the wonderful and excellent Machinesbleedtoo.


BUYING/GIVING ME STUFF:

Can I give you lots of money?
... no. Not for any reason.

Can I give you presents?
Is it art? Sure, I would like that, and if I have any opportunity to you will receive art in return! I love in-person art exchanges. We could sit and draw and talk together. To me, being creative together is basically the best way to be social and to hang out together.
Is it anything except for art? Probably not. Ask first. Unless we are really close friends.

Can I buy you food and/or eat with you?
You cannot buy me food unless we are really good friends, but unless I'm eating with other people you can probably eat with me. I will be eating at the hotel during the con, but during the early arrival and late departure days I will be eating other things other places.

Can I buy you lots of drinks?
... no. At least most probably not. I generally only accept gifts from close friends. I guess you can always ask, but know that I'm not a person you can give things just to later try to guilt trip into doing stuff for you; if you give me things I will assume they are gifts, and if you later try to use it against me the only thing that you will accomplish is me getting very incredibly upset at you and thinking you're a manipulative arsehole.

What are those little plastic bottles you sip from sometimes?
They are my nutrition drinks. They are really important to me since I don't always work that well with food and get malnutritioned easily even in periods when I can eat due to allergies and not managing to eat a varied diet. Consider them medicine, because this is what they are.
