It just doesn't make sense to me.

Petamon
Posted 18 years agoIf anyone is curious of exactly what this Petamon thing is I'll translate some chozen parts of the swedish text.
Basically it's a pokemon spoof for a space opera RPG, twisted into fitting the games campaign world.
Introduction
At an archeological dig of a mystrical alien habitat far outside the borders of the federation a couple of hundred mystical storage boxes were found. They measured sev by seven by seven centimeters and were found being able to contain things many times larger than the boxes themselves.
The discovery could have revolutionized intergalactic freight. Imaging being able to fit as much cargo in a 600 meter ship that fits in a portal that you can fit in a twenty miles long superfreighter today. No more starvation due to aidshipments being to expensive.
The discovery of this alien technology could have changed countless lives for the better. But alas, the dig was sponsored by a media corporation.
Petamon - The entertainment show
Sports event and reality show in one. The show follows the lives of the partisipants of the show Petamon where a select few individuals search for and train Petamon to compete in the Petamon tournament. They store their Petamon in Petamon cubes and travel the galaxy and have epic adventures in their search for new and more powerfull Petamon to train.
Petamon is a dangerous game. All damage that a Petamon sustains is transmitted to the trainer though a neural bracelet. One might well die.
