I wish I didn't have to write this
General | Posted 5 years agoIt is with an extremely heavy heart that I write this journal and I hope everyone can understand how difficult it is for me to write this.
The whole reason for Panthera-Productions even being a thing was for me to create art, original pieces as well as base made images. As time has gone on I have had to gradually move to base-only work - and as I am sure many of you are aware, I spent time with each and every base I used, heavily editing the lines, adding detailed backgrounds and doing far more work than i probably should have with each base and it saddens me that this is no longer possible, with even something as simple as colouring in having become painful for me.
I recently attended a specialist appointment for my wrist condition which i have had for a very long time, as the condition has slowly been worsening over time and as expected the condition has deteriorated to a point where it is no longer possible for me to continue to make art.
I know I still owe some people art and I am unfortunately going to have to give those people refunds as I am unable to fulfil my part and I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you are one of these people, please send me a note (titled - "REFUND PLEASE") with your paypal information and I will get a refund sent to you.
This account will remain here as an archive of sorts of the art I have made in my time here and I want to thank everyone who has watched and supported me in the last 7&1/2 years, I have loved making art for you, drawing your characters and chatting with many of you and you have no idea how much all your kind words have made me smile over the years and I truly thank you for that.

Josiah Brooks (aka Jazza) is an Australian artist/animator and in this video he shows just how silly it
is to go and ask a variety of businesses for something for free/in exchange for exposure, credit.
You wouldn't ask a regular business for something for free... so why do it to artists?

Prepose Guidelines
General | Posted 9 years agoThis is just a general information journal for anyone who orders one of our preposes
(Some easy to follow guidelines for how to ensure your order is completed quickly)
- As a general rule for preposes, Male poses are usually indicated in blue, and female poses are normally pink, in the case where a pose is suitable for both male and female characters I will usually make the pose purple. When you order a gender-specific pose and give us a reference for a character of the opposite gender we are going to assume you are wanting the character to be gender-bent to suit the pose you have initially ordered ~ what this means is that when ordering a prepose please note the colour and what gender the pose is suitable for before ordering and if you are in doubt please ask (It gets to be rather frustrating when we have to send multiple notes/ post multiple comments asking for clarification of something in particular after work has started on your prepose)
- When ordering one of the preposes offered by Panthera-Productions please ensure that the references you provide are appropriate for the prepose you are ordering. If you are ordering an adult/mature prepose it would be greatly appreciated if the references you give show the characters genitals if they are visible in the prepose. (There is nothing more frustrating and time consuming for an artist than having to ask (multiple times) for appropriate references to cover this - for example providing a clothed or sfw ref when the image is clearly nsfw)
- If you do not have visual references for your character (and only have images which aren't your typical reference sheet style) please make sure the images are appropriate for the prepose you are ordering.
- Watch this account! - We will usually note or shout on your page once your prepose image has been completed, but sometimes we either forget to do this or simply do not get time to. The best way to make sure you see your image once it is finished is to give our account a +watch and then the submission should show up in your submissions as soon as it is posted.
- There are particular characters I am not comfortable with drawing or I am still not 100% confident in my ability to draw them, and therefore may not be able to use those characters in the preposes. (This includes MLP characters, SONIC characters, copyrighted tv/movie/game characters and some species which are more difficult to draw than others)
- Please be aware that if your order requires alot of editing, or you order multiple preposes at once, your order will undoubtedly take longer to complete. We ask that you please allow anywhere between 4days -3 weeks for your order to be completed. The reason for this is the preposes available on this account are done by AevalPanthera who is a mother to five children who need her care and attention, she also has a job outside of art and now (as from January 2018) has medical related appointments (as well as unforseen family related circumstances) which can possibly impact the turn-around time for commissions (including preposes)
- About using other peoples characters: When ordering one of our preposes and you are wanting to have a character which doesn't belong to you in the image, it is asked that you get the owner of the characters to either comment (or note us) with their permission/consent for their character to be used in the prepose - we have gotten in trouble in the past for drawing someones character in a prepose (ordered by someone else) and they were not happy about it, so this has now been implemented just to avoid issues like this happening in the future.
- For anyone who is interested in knowing we use bases by the following artists (as well as a few others):
- You are more than welcome to re-post any prepose made for you, although it is appreciated if you give the appropriate credit to both the Base maker as well as either Panthera-Productions (or AevalPanthera) for the base edits and/or colouring.
