Got back to the UK this afternoon after an awesome time in Berlin.

Despite the issue with the airline not loading my case onto the plane in time in Amsterdam on the first day - I did get the case back the next day though - EF was an absolute blast! Caught up with friends I'd not seen in a while and made some new ones in the process ^^

Had a trip out to the Tropical Islands water park during the course of the con as well, can seriously recommend it as a day out - think Center Parcs but with tents on beaches as hotel rooms :D

Thanks to all who made Eurofurence, and the trip to Berlin as a whole, such an awesome experience - I shall certainly be looking to return for next year ^^

So for the last week I've been in the lovely city of Stockholm, Sweden attending  nordicfuzzcon and I had an absolute blast ^^ The staff and hotel were very friendly, loved the steampunk theme (gave me a chance to costume out of suit as well) I got loads of fursuiting time in, which makes this Junichi's first proper con - MEOWAH! ^^

Biggest plus of it though is it's gotten my creative juices flowing again, I want to experiment with more things and just enjoy the process of making art again, which has kinda escaped me for the past five years or so. Things have been difficult for me jobhunting-wise as well, but a few days in the company of fun and creative folk has helped to lift the spirits a lot ^^

Very pleasing to get some fursuiting time in, really enjoyed bouncing around as Junichi - particularly since the weight loss made it a lot more comfortable ^^ If you snapped any pics of the cute and bouncy pankat please let me know ^^

Wanted to wish all my followers a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year ^^

2013 for me has had its ups and downs - mostly downs when it came to employment - with a move out and then having to move back home again in a short space of time got me down a bit - in short it feels like the last few months have just taken a run up and kicked me square in the bollocks >.<

However, time to put that behind me and look to the future and just generally try to be more positive - which should hopefully include a return to drawing for me, I've not drawn anything of merit for at least two years but am going to try and use next year as a platform for getting back into it :)

Will try and keep this as short and sweet as possible, but in a nutshell it was a pretty awesome convention this year ^^

Thursday 30th:

Arrived at the hotel en route from Stafford where I picked up a couple of older TVs for the games room. Checked in and busied myself with running around helping others and sorting out the gaming room in preperation for the weekend.

Friday 31st:

Spent a lot of time in the gaming room, acting as a backup so  crome and  shez could get out and about in the con and just making sure you all had a good time there. The older consoles in Retro Corner seemed to go down well, we had an old Genesis and Super Nintendo, which along with the more modern titles provided fun for all who wanted to go back to their childhood ^^

Pottered around the Art Show and Dealer's Den at various points of the day, picked up some prints and things like mugs and other things, good little swag pile this year ^^

Then came the rehearsal for the Pawpet Show...and it was another late start/finish (3am to be exact) - tech difficulties had to be ironed out but at least they were ready for the start of the show - which I hope those of you who caught it enjoyed it ^^

Saturday 1st

After breakfast it was time to suit up for the Fursuit Walk - so after donning my Crusader garb complete with sword it was time to frolic and entertain as we snaked our way through the hotel, as this will likely be the last of the Pansuit's outings in it's current form I made sure to make the most of it, slaying a few dragons and the like - pesky scaly things ;3

After another quick jaunt through the Dealers' Den I took myself to bed for an hour or so before the big Pawpet performance, which even after 5 years of doing it I still get nervous O_O Thankfully the show went well without any hitches and it was very well received. This year I was cast as the part of a lesbian dragoness named Clarissa XD

I stuck around for an hour or so afterwards when we ran our 'Behind The Playrail' session, where we invited folks backstage to see where the madness happens, answered some questions about the whole experience as well, was good to converse with people about how it all comes together ^^

Pawpet shoutouts to  fairlight  nidonocu  azimuth  frosttwolf  twll for being an awesome core cast again, and to our debutants  bungle_bear  avalondragon and  nikkoli and to Avalon and  sorayasha for their performance as our favourite metrosexual bat-things Klaus and Sebastian *vlapvlapvlap* ^^ and to the wranglers who made us all expressive and such ^^ not forgetting of course the sound/light/backstage crew of  levlion  tungro  mattys  leonerd and  wolfiefox

Needless to say, there was much chilling and booze after the show (as usual then ;3)

Sunday 2nd

Sunday brought more shifts in the gaming room and lots of swag from the Art Show, took home some nice pieces - even if my credit card will be screaming for mercy XD The auction itself had a piece which sold for £3500 - a new CF auction record

Made some time to head to the Fursuit Photoshoot - another excellent job by  tigertom this year, loved the greenscreen and selection of props :)

Took the time afterwards to head out for dinner at an Indian restaurant with a number of the Pawpet crew, where we introduced a few people, including the Guest of Honor - the lovely  gab and her hubby to Indian cuisine, I think it went down well ^^

Monday 3rd

After the convention began the teardown process, which involved me assisting where needed, Monday was DeadDog party night, and I was delighted to have made it this year after just missing out last year due to driving duties.  swolf and  graafen laid out an awesomely cheesy set which had us dancing away into the night, fantastic way to finish a fantastic convention full of fantastic people ^^

So many people to thank and so little time to name you all *passes out hugs all round* everyone from the hotel staff to the core staff to the volunteers and so many attendees - you all helped make it an awesome event this year, and though we may be moving location next year, the memories of the Hinckley Island will be some of the happiest of my life ^^

Back home safe after a truly awesome weekend, full report to come once I've recovered *flopkat*

Just had a lovely week away in the US to attend a friend's wedding, now it's time to fly back to the UK for Confuzzled- really looking forward to it this year ^^ I'll be there from later tonight (and probably still a little jetlagged) but am looking forward to catching up with familiar folk and meeting lots of nice new folk ^^

Got back this morning after an awesome trip to  nordicfuzzcon's debut year in Stockholm, Sweden. The drive was eventful (mostly thanks to German customs) but it was very very pretty, the frozen lake we saw as we drove down the coast was stunning, and on the way back we found out that you -can- indeed put a train on a ferry :D

This has to be one of the best con experiences for me, I met lots of nice new people, saw a few familiar friends and got out in suit a lot more - even trying my hand at the fursuit games as part of Team UK with  snugglebunnyfursuit - though we lost to the Aussie ( dancingduke) in the finals *pawshakes* next time Gadget, next time...;3

The hotel were lovely to us, even if the bathroom towels were a tad small :D

Thank you to everybody who helped make it a truly awesome holiday - big ups to  Ceiliguliminix and the  acoustic-armageddon chaps for letting me tag along on what became known as the EpicNordicRoadTrip ^^

2012 for me went something along the lines of 9 months of misery followed by 3 months of change and fun, with the Olympics and ConFuzzled in between ^^

Sorry things have been a bit quiet on here from me lately, my artistic motivation has dried up something rotten and I was recently made redundant from work (although I am currently back in employment)

2012 has been horrible on a personal level, but I'm thankful for the friends I have and am looking onwards to 2013 with renewed hope that I can move to Manchester ^^

Confuzzled 2012 was my fifth CF, my third as part of the staff force, and I have to say was the best one I've attended so far. Whilst it was a busy time it was also very rewarding hearing all the nice feedback about the convention from you guys who attended ^^

I've had an amazing two weeks on the road, most of which was completely random, but it made for quite a vacation ^^

Thursday

Thursday was largely spent doing a lot of van driving, lifting and shifting and general setup, spent most of the day moseying around with  levlion,  RadeonX_Mikazuki and  wolfie_fox and helping to set up the convention venue - which I thought was awesome from the moment I set foot in it.

Friday

Friday was another day of rushing around and getting stuff done, I did get to suit a little but not for too long - however it was nice to get the Pansuit back after a bit of a break and repairs. Spent time in and out of the games room helping out  crome ensuring that youse fuzzies had your fix of Rock Band and Smash Bros Brawl ;3 Besides, it gave me a chance to try out (and get addicted to) DJ Hero :3

Speaking of music, I headed to the concert put on by  colson and  foxamoore and I have to say it was a fantastic show, with a cameo from  neo doing a little interpretive dance to 'Still Alive', which I thought was rather funny ^^

Then of course, as every year, it came time to rehearse for the PawPet show, which I was looking forward to performing this year, however it didn't quite go to plan, and technical difficulties blighted us, so we got to bed rather early in the wee hours of Saturday morning x.x

I've returned to the lair after two weeks on the road, thankies to all at Confuzzled and the after-trip excursions for making them so awesome. Went to Thorpe Park for the first time, moseyed round Leeds for a bit and even got to see some old friends I ain't seen in ages ^^

In order to try and drag myself out of the art block I've found myself in lately I'm opening myself up for sketch commissions to try and get back into some sort of drawing kick again, so offer me your ideas ^^

What I will draw: pinup, toony, general cuteness, unusual species and hybrids are a particular favourite ^^
What I won't draw: cub, scat, hard vore and anything I find a bit weird

Note: not sure about timescales for these, but will work through the list as soon as I am able, owing to work and other things ^^

Back from Confuzzled 2011 - which was absolutely awesome! Loved the theme aspect, you might even have recognised me as one of the Don's goons which made several appearences during the convention, t'was a lot of fun dessing up and putting on the accent :3

Thanks to all who stopped by my table and said hello and bought stuff from me, I promise I'll be more prepared for next year, and with next year's theme I'm already getting lots of ideas for stuff to draw and make ^^
