I apologize if any of you were waiting for me to open up for commissions. Currently I'm still working at chipping my way through my queue, and I don't feel comfortable opening up commissions until I've made more headway in chipping away at that list.

I only have a few things to share today, the good news is that thus far, my test results have all come back clear and I seem to be in good health, from what the doctors can see! This means the number of tests and the frequency of appointments should begin to roll back for now, which I'm ecstatic about! I want to thank everyone who helped out during my trying times, and I wanted to say that the help you all have given me has been overwhelming. Thank you all!
For commissions, I do still intend to open up for commissions, but closer to the end of this month, perhaps around Feb 25th-28th. In the meanwhile, I am thinking of starting commission sketch streams, where I'll take commissions and work on them in stream! This would be a separate thing from my commission queue, and would likely be done over the weekends. I'll make announcement posts when I do this, but if you'd like to get alerts, you can follow me over here where I'll be streaming!

I have had to reach out that way to a few commissioners who didn't attach their social media handle in their commission info. I believe I am officially caught up on my old commissions from last year, excluding the YCH commissions which are next on my agenda. Once I finish those up, I will be opening for commissions again, come early February!

Status Update
Posted 2 years agoHello, everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates the past two weeks, as you may know, I have been recovering from my surgery for testicular cancer that took place 2 weeks ago. In that time, I've been recovering, and admittedly I've been a bit fatigued when it comes to drawing and doodling. I met with my surgeon who confirmed it was testicular cancer, and I'll be referred for either monitoring or Chemo with an Oncologist, who I'll meet later in the month. The upshot from that meeting, was that it seems that it was caught early, my scar appears to be healing quite well, and there's no signs of any infection or complications, which I'm happy to hear. I am feeling better every day, and I'm thankful for all of the support and kind words I've received in the past month. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all~
I have been doodling a bit these past few days, but unfortunately, the last few days I've been having problems with Windows freezing on me. I'll still be able to use my computer to a degree, but if I save a project in CSP while this is happening, it will corrupt the file irreversibly. If I try to close programs in task manager, it fails, then Task manager freezes up. If I try to reset/shut down, nothing happens, so I have to do a hard reset.
Currently, I'm trying to find and correct the source of that, and I've done a few things that should hopefully have corrected the issue, but only time will tell. I'm certain this was caused by the power outage last month, though the repair man assured me nothing was wrong with any of my hardware. My own troubleshooting (with help from friends) leads me to believe it was either a problem with the GPU driver update I installed, a Windows update, or with how my GPU/Ram was physically seated into the motherboard. The only thing I noticed was that it might've been the motherboard's main power connector, which was resting slightly on the edge of the GPU. I updated drivers and reinstalled updates, changed power options, flashed my BIOS, and I'm hoping that corrected the issue.
I'm anxious about working on anything important in this time, because I've already lost two CSP files with sketch pages in them.
For now, that is all that I have to share. I wish you all the best, and I hope to have something to share with you soon!

YCH Auction/Personal Update

I am hosting a YCH auction in order to raise funds for an upcoming surgery, to help cover the costs associated with my treatment and recovery time. I want to take a moment to share a personal update with you all. Earlier this month, after visiting doctors and a series of tests, I was told that I likely have testicular cancer, and that I will be needing surgery to correct it. The path towards recovery will undoubtedly be filled with challenges, which I am facing with a positive outlook. Thus far, the love and support from my family, friends, and the wider community have been invaluable. The good news is that, it does appear to have been detected in it's early stages, and there are no signs it has spread. With that in mind, this is very treatable. The bad news is that, the surgery will remove the entire organ, and there will be a recovery period following this that will affect my income.
In an effort to cover any costs associated with my treatment and recovery, I created the YCH auction. So I did get back the results of some tests and scans, which tested positive for " testicular malignancy". However, thankfully, there are no signs that it has spread to any other organs or lymph nodes, so I should only require surgery moving forward.
I am waiting to meet with my Urologist to discuss a surgery date.
I only wish to say, thank you to everyone who donated to my Ko-FI, and everyone who entered a bid for the YCH auction. The outpouring of support and messages of kind words I've received has been astonishing, and overwhelming at times. I will never forget every one of you who came out to show your support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
