OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER
Posted 9 years agoFIRST TIME EVER COMMISSIONS, YO!!!! I literally have no idea what I’m doing, please be gentle.
Contact me at mcrelldraws@gmail.com. You can find my TOS here!
(KEEP YOUR EYE OUT FOR POKEMON TRAINER AND ICON COMMISSION SPECIALS COMING SOON!)
(I'm thinking icon commissions for $18 and Pokemon/Pokesona/Pokemon trainer commissions for a flat $24 that includes either 3 regular Pokemon, or a trainer and a maximum of 2 Pokemon partners.)
Contact me at mcrelldraws@gmail.com. You can find my TOS here!
I’ll draw pretty much anything: human OCs, furry OCs, My Little Pony OCs, Pokemon, Pokesonas, etc. I don’t want to be commissioned to draw solely fanart, though (drawings with only officially copyrighted characters from television shows, movies, etc).
I will draw NSFW pieces (nudity, pinups, etc) but cannot for the life of me draw any act of sex. I’m afraid I don’t have the anatomical grasp of that yet (pun intended), and your money would be better spent elsewhere for stuff like that.
I accept payment through PayPal ONLY. I will request payment up-front from you after we discuss commission terms.
Colored Sketch:
$10 each plus $2 per additional character
Simple Color:
$14 for chibi full-body. Plus $4 per additional character. Comes with simple colored background.
$16 for realistic full-body. Plus $6 per additional character. Comes with simple colored background.
Full Color:
$20 for chibi full-body with detailed background.
$24 for realistic full-body with patterned background.
$30 for realistic full-body with detailed background.
All $10 per additional character; prices for realistic full-body commissions vary with complexity of character and background.

possible commissions and also MYO Canterwit contest
Posted 10 years agoCOMMISSION BITS
Hey everyone I know I've been literally the worst at keeping journals updated, and also consistently posting art, but I don't make my living off of my art. That being said, I would like to make an extra bit of money besides my full-time job, so I might be setting up commissions soon. I have never done commissions before, so I will first need to set up prices and figure out PayPal. (I have only used PayPal once, and am hesitant to use it because of a bad experience my dad had with them once when the site was in its earlier days)
So far these are my tentative prices:
Sketches (digital, cleaned up sketches with maybe a bit of watercolor-style coloring) - $10-15 depending on coloring
Lineart with simple coloring (a cleaner and more solid coloring) - $20-30
Lineart with detailed coloring and background - $30-40 depending on background
Additional charges for things like extra characters and the type of body shot (bust, waist-up, full-body). So, yeah. I would love suggestions for improvement of my pricing system until I get it fully set up!
List of stuff I will draw for you: tasteful pinups/nudes, ponies (mlp OCs, canons), furries/OCs, Pokemon, cute/chibi shit of the previously listed items. I really don't enjoy drawing dirty pictures of copyrighted characters like MLP and Pokemon, so please don't ask me for that. I don't have a problem drawing dirty pictures of your OCs, though (within my comfort zone). However, I don't have a lot of experience drawing porn/smut, so don't set your expectations too high for that type of art.
CONTEST BITS
Anyways, the other thing this journal is about is that I've been doing is participating in a MYO contest over on DeviantArt (the original species owner also has an account here on FA: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fawnspots/
I already have like 3 entries, but I really wanted to make one with uncommon features, which means advertising the contest, so here I am! I absolutely love this original species, it's like a combination between dogs and deer with flowers. I LOVE IT. Here is a link for the species info: http://canterwit.weebly.com/
Anyone who wants to participate can find the contest info here on dA: http://owlfinch.deviantart.com/jour.....OPEN-521384219
The contest ends April 24th, have fun!! I will maybe post my submissions here as well if anyone wants to see them. Also I don't know if anyone else has a tumblr, but I do and that's where I've been spending literally most of my time.

CHEAP COMMISSIONS by StrayKitsune

Help this awesome girl out! She is trying to save up money for Rainfurrest and a 3DS (Pokemon XY, baby!), but is unable to work at her usual job due to construction. Her style is really cute and improving all the time, it would be super great if you'd give her a hand!
In the future, I might consider doing commissions as well, after I set up a PayPal and after I graduate...but for now, if you want some cute, cheap commissions, go to

WATCHERS BE WARNED
Posted 14 years agoSo hi, the title may be alarming, but it's really not a huge deal.
Little updates, I turned 20 this month yayyyy one year closer to legal drinking age (America sucks). I got a few really handy gifts, including a new digital camera that is INCREDIBLE. I love my new camera so much, it takes really really crisp and clear photos, and has a much better zoom than my old camera. I also got some Nike FreeRuns or whatever they're called, they're so fancy...it'll make working out more fun for me (it takes a lot to keep me motivated to exercise, I'm such a lazy butt).
I very much like my calm birthdays at an older age. I hate being spoiled at my age. But now that I'm older, I get better quality presents because usually I know what I want, unlike younger birthdays (and the themed parties with mediocre gifts). I'm sorry if I sound like a spoiled rich kid, I hate coming off as such.
So the thing that I want to warn my followers to, as per the title of this journal, is that I will most likely be doing a lot of my little pony shit for a while. I probably won't design too many more, but I plan on doing pony versions of a few of my frequently used characters. SO LOOK OUT FOR BRONY/PEGASISTER OVERLOAD.
kay bye.

life and death
Posted 14 years agoHuh this is my first journal on this account. Welp, better late than never.
Sorry for this pretty lengthy bawwwww session, but I think it's fair you should all know what's up. As of now, I am taking another summer session crash course in Organic Chemistry (totally ew), so I don't think there will be much art posting happening in the next two weeks. I'll try my best, but no guarantees. In the meantime, however, I would LOVE to set up some trades with people for when I do have free time to draw.
The busier I keep my mind, the less upset I feel about Kato.
Anyways, guys, thanks for your condolences and such in my submission "All Dogs Go to Heaven."
Later, I guess.
As some of you may have heard, I lost one of my dogs this week. Sometime between his last checkup in March till earlier this month, he developed really aggressive cancer that formed a huge tumor on his liver, effectively shutting it down. At age 10, he was humanely euthanized this Wednesday, which came to me as a huge shock because I am not living at home right now and could not even say goodbye. I'll always love and miss my big boy, his loud hound barks and his huge, adorable eyes that no matter what, looked at you with infinite affection. I'll miss his quirks and his silly habits (like having couch time every night with my Mommy), even if they irked me sometimes. Kato, you were the sweetest, most loving and silly dog I have ever owned. Have a wonderful afterlife in Heaven, which I hope for you is just like the short life you lived out on Earth, because I know that's what you'd prefer, living forever with the family you were raised in.
My other dogs, Maggie (14 years old) and Tucker (4 years old) are pretty discombobulated from this occurrence, and in time will know that Kato won't be coming back. I am very surprised that our oldest, Maggie, has now outlived three dogs that we have owned (Kelso was very old when we got her, and Heidi was just about Kato's age, or younger). It will be equally sad when she passes, but she has indeed lived a very long and comfortable life.
The only good news about the death of beloved pets means that with their passing, comes new life and new loved companions. My parents' plans for after Maggie's death includes getting one last new puppy, to keep Tucker company, because we are certain he would not do well as the only dog in the family. I basically raised and trained Tucker all by myself, and I want nothing but the best for him.
